Idk if you are asking what that is but if you are it's when you talk and the computer inputs your words for you. Like when you say "ok google" to your phone and then ask it a question.

I used to use it too, unfortunately now there is so many people in my house it picks up everything, or the dogs barking.

Text to speech would be nice, but my family members are always around, so it'd be extremely awkward to use lol

I honestly prefer the movies over the books tbh, I just felt a lot closer to the characters (and Teresa was super annoying in the books imo XD)

I think she is annoying in the movies, makes me mad. She makes some dumb decisions that costs a lot of innocent people's lives.
