for the most part, kassie is a sweetheart who has been through quite a lot and resulted in her untrusting and almost timid outl
ook on life. on the outside, she is very skittish and untrusting of strangers, even those she's known for a while she's still weary.
once she's warmed up to someone and feels safe around them, kassie really opens up and becomes almost a completely differ
ent person. once comfortable, she becomes playful and almost bubbly, wanting to be around the person or people who make
her feel safe, and even becoming almost touchy and clingy. since she's so untrusting and weary of people, kassie doesn't like
to be touched, but as soon as she's safe with someone, she will want hugs and will even cuddle up to the person. she's also
still learning about how to be a proper werewolf and is easily confused or unsettled when it comes to anything lore related.

born and raised in a tiny village in alaska near the canadian border to a normal human woman. her father was actually a werew
olf, but no one knew. kassie was a very loved child in the village since there weren't many running around and it was more of a
large family than a simple village. most of her childhood was pretty normal and almost boring, but her teen years turned out to
be a horror show. when she was around 15-years-old, kassie's mother died in childbirth trying to have a little boy. unfortunately,
neither mother nor baby survived. her father, who hadn't been much of one, disappeared a week after her mother died.

no one knew were her father went, but kassie was left abandoned. the village tried to look after her, but a year later when she
was sixteen, kassie suddenly shifted into a white beast. luckily, she was home alone at the time, though sadly wasn't able to co
ntrol herself. her cat was caught in the crossfire of her sudden chaotic change and she still mourns him to this day. it was a tot
al shock when she was able to finally calm down and realize what happened, then she fled her village due to not being able to
shift back to her human skin and fearing what would happen if anyone else found out what had happened to her.

for three years, she was unable to shift human and decided to join a pack after finding out she wasn't alone. she wanted to lea
rn more about what she was and figured it'd be best to learn from those like her. unfortunately, the pack she found was hostile
and cruel, using her as a scapegoat for their anger and frustrations while claiming it's what wild wolves do to their omegas. ka
ssie fled that pack and travelled south. she spent the next two years alone again trying to learn more about her wolf nature.

over the next few years, kassie moved around the northwestern united states and canada, jumping from pack to pack trying to
learn all she can while also looking for a home. each pack she found didn't last long, either she ran away from violence or they
simply didn't want her around and ran her off. the most recent pack was quite uncomfortable for her since the alpha male had
taken a shine to her and was always flirting and trying to court her even though he already had a mate. the said mate of the a
lpha hated how he fancied kassie more and decided to chase her out of the pack all together even though kassie had tried sev
eral times to reject the male. she had planned to leave the pack anyway so she didn't fight back when chased away.

kassie is now wandering the colorado wilderness, but will find the cranberry pack and hopefully be able to live there in peace.
