-- as a child, nishiki was found at the summit of mt. chimney by a woman doing research
on the differences of rock formations in the volcano, quite close to the top of the crater
-- nishiki was fostered in the small farming community of fallarbor town, hoenn by an ex
pert glassblower father & a mineralogist mother, the older bro to two biological children
-- as a kid he spent a lot of time on route 113 collecting soot for his dad's work (healthy!)
-- he also did some field work with his mom, like collecting mineral samples from mt chi-
mney & jagged pass with her for her studies. loved hearing her tell of how she found him
-- his family often took weekend trips down to ol' lavaridge town to enjoy the hot springs
-- he had always dreamed big, even as a kid: his childhood dream was to be a gym leader
-- nishiki's mellowed out as he got older, less impulsive and more focused on the big idea
-- that said, he's still an act first, think later person at heart. he's got quick reflexes, and
is very grateful for them when he spends so much time trying to not like die in volcanoes
-- besides helping out his parents (and later helping to take of his newly born siblings) th
ere wasn't a lot for nishiki to do growing up so he took up every physical activity he coul-
d do in his area: rock climbing, cycling, hiking, weightlifting, hang-gliding. he's stupid fit
-- he's always been a hard worker, because he likes the idea of contributing to something
bigger than himself! whether it comes to his athletic activities like rock-climbing or hikin
g, or training with his pokemon, if he gets in the spirit he'll keep going... until he crashes
-- since his siblings are younger than him by 6 years & 5 years, nishiki delayed starting his
pokemon journey until they were old enough to explicitly not need him at home anymore
-- being entirely used to the heat means that he's not "fond" of cold weather-he detests it
-- he may seem kind of like a jock, because he is, but he's a soft jock with a big heart </3

Elodie is a sweet, calm, softspoken girl. She is kind, although she is rather shy and tends to overthink things, causing her to avoid social situations. Despite the initial impression that she’s weak, Elodie is competitive and determined. She can sometimes be a sore loser. She genuinely wants to help, a gentle and nurturing type. Elodie has difficulty opening up to others, and tends to not trust them due to toxic friendships in the past. She’s insecure, so it takes time to open up. However, when she finally shows her true colors she’s comedic and energetic- even talkative (sometimes).

Elodie enjoys the outdoors- mountain hikes, sitting by a stream, or
even camping. She’s down for it all. She adores Pokémon of all kinds
and wants to study to be a Pokémon nurse! Elodie also loves using her
hands. Whether it be sewing, drawing and painting, or some other art
form. She is rather creative and clever, and likes to put that energy
into something productive. Elodie was found by a young couple who
weren’t exactly looking to have children- but they fell in love with her
and had to keep her. Her mother is a scientist, and her father an artist.
Elodie tends to not speak her mind, and gets upset easily and is rather
sensitive. She doesn’t understand why when others are rude to her,
and is rather bad at handling pressure. She cares a lot about her
friends, and just wants to make sure they’re safe and ok.

possibly the sweetest person you could ever meet, but is also very quiet and reserv
ed, not really mingling with anyone unless they reach out first. she prefers to stick
with her pokemon rather than deal with people. her social abilities are quite lackin
g to say the least. she's not very good at small talk and doesn't like to even attempt
it. ana is actually quite smart and knows a lot about pokemon, but she doesn't kno
w much about anything else. though she is quite nice, ana can get moody at times
and will lose her temper if pushed too far. though she may be good at making frien
ds and being friendly, ana is surprisingly bad at romance and being romantic in gen
eral. she hasn't been able to keep a boyfriend or really getting one for that matter.
