simple description. one of the best words to describe
xxxxxxxxxander is 'sunny'. maybe it's his tanned skin and
xxxxxxxxsun-bleached brown hair, or his bright honey eyes
xxxxxxxxand tall, enveloping warmth, or perhaps just his
xxxxxxxxstatus as the son of the sun god
style. essentially all xander wears is painted- and doodled-on
xxxxxxxxjeans, ragged old t-shirts, well-loved hoodies, and
xxxxxxxxworn out old sneakers. his camp necklace is always
xxxxxxxxin his shirt with a fresh leather cord every year
weapon of choice. he prefers a medical kit, but will take
xxxxxxxxup a bow or any throwable object within arms reach

cheesy jokes . actual cheese . peace of mind . lazy days

personality. xander is a pretty relaxed guy, with a certain
warmth to him that makes him seem very approachable,
which he enjoys. he doesn't really get the people who want
to be feared by all of the people around them. to him, it
seems ridiculous. maybe it was the way he was raised, with
a hippie, artist mother and a very supportive stepfather, or
the environment of being a child of apollo, with its warmth
and acceptance and overwhelming supportiveness.

history. xander grew up knowing his father was the sun god
since his mother never felt the need to keep secrets from her
son. after she married, when xander was about three, she also
told her new husband. while his step-father was understandably
shocked, he came to be supportive, and took on the role of his
father. because of his mother, xander also grew up with a lot of
artistic influence, from theatre to good-ol' songwriting. he would
learn that his favorite instrument was the lyre, which he saw
as a connection to his real father. other than that, xander feels
all but completely disconnected to the god, and is often found
essentially playing chicken by tossing casual insults at apollo.
at eleven, his mother brought him to camp without much of
an incident, and he always loves coming home during the winter
season.

style. often, josie is wearing very... odd clothing. she
xxxxxxxxwears flowy skirts, super-soft jeans, or homemade
xxxxxxxxshorts, which are usually accompanied by shredded
xxxxxxxxt-shirts, light tanks, or chunky sweaters
weapon of choice. josie prefers to fight from afar with
xxxxxxxxher powers, but is handy with a sword

personality. as stated before, josie is very alike to luna lovegood,
most notably in her seemingly bizarre actions and routines. more
likely than not, it has to do with the heavy hand of ocd mixing with
her father's infectious self. but really, she is a very sweet girl, even
with her oddities. although, should she get annoyed or angry, she
has been known to temporarily enter the madness of her father's
maenads which is, historically speaking, not good.

history. josie was very young when she came to camp. her
mother was a stage actress who performed well, and partied
hard. somewhere along the way, dionysus came along, and
had a fling with her mother, resulting in josie herself. well,
her mother's lifestyle continued until josie was about six, at
which point she realized she needed to leave that part of her
life behind and grow up.
unfortunately for josie, that meant leaving her behind. barely
seven years old, she was left on half-blood hill by a mother who
she wouldn't see again until many years later. so many, in fact,
that her mother had started an entirely new family. despite
the circumstances, josie doesn't hold any ill will against her
mother, but she does refuse to speak of her unless someone
asks about her directly.

@everyone Thanks for all your hard work with your forms and relations and posting and just everything. Everything looks so fantastic and I'm glad this roleplay has taken off well! No worries if you're busy; just try to post updates in the discussion thread so the people you're roleplaying with are on the same page ^^.
