xxonly a few days after the chaos became public knowledge. kenzie went from having everything

xxbest of friends and allies. the young woman is incredibly loyal, protective and would rather
xxdie than lose another loved one. but getting to that level takes its time. kenzie doesn't
xxtrust just anyone. in fact, she comes across as quite blunt and snarky to most. but when
xxshe's comfortable and trusting, she's a total sweetheart. she came from a life of glitz and
xxand glamour, but now she's had to accept that there'll be no more nail salon trips or dye
xxjobs. now it's leather jacket, drugstore makeup and killing zombies.

in a word: chaotic. jerran is a purely impulse driven
person and while he's not entirely unintelligent, he
has no common sense whatsoever. he's extroverted
and talkative, and he'd give really good advice if he
would give it less cryptically. conspiracies and chill?

has turned a radio station into a stronghold and macgyvered himself a wind turbine made from a computer
monitor and a low power fm radio transmitter
spends a lot of time talking over the radio hoping to reach out to other survivors. mostly, he just talks more or
less to himself, but he likes to tell stories about his life pre-apocalypse, and if you stick around long enough he'll
tell you actual valuable information, like how to build aforementioned wind turbine
has figured out how to grow basic, hardy vegetables- carrots, cabbage, broccoli, that kind of stuff. ever tried to
kill broccoli after it's started growing? it takes some effort.
also has a fairly decent supply of water but it's honestly not going to last much longer
supplies also include a few changes of clothing in both his sizes and his ex husbands sizes, he hasn't been able to
bring himself to throw out his ex husband's clothes yet
supplies also include things which prove jerran definitely has his priorities in order- hair dye, for starters. cheap
makeup. several really cool hats, he's not compromising his hat fashion just because a little apocalypse got in
the way.
weapon of choice is a thin copper pipe he found in the radio station. is it a good weapon? not really. does he
have anything else? yes. he has a pocket knife and i don't think the thought of stabbing someone, even a
zombie, has ever occurred to jerran.

the apocalypse. he’d never had many friends in his life,xx
he admits, but he did always have a fondness of comicsxx
and gaming. he had a specific interest in zombie relatedxx
fiction, so needless to say he was pretty well prepared.xx
his father worked in a gun shop and would occasionallyxx
take kyle for practice when he was younger. he becamexx
quite distanced from his parents at the age of nineteenxx
so now he doesn’t know how they’re faring in the statexx
of the world now. he hopes they’re okay, and that theyxx
care about him still. if they’re still alive, that is.xx

experienced with gaming but not so much interactions xx
with other people, he holds almost all the knowledgexx
one would need in the apocalypse but is considerablyxx
lacking in other topics. he’s anxious around others andxx
prefers to travel alone but can recognise how having axx
group is important. he values people that are strongerxx
than him; happy to tag along like a pilot fish beside axx
shark. xx

kyle is a skilled marksman and even more skilled at xx
making pointless references to games, comics, showsxx
and other activities that could be deemed “geeky”.xx
despite initial fear of social interaction, he can comexx
out of his shell quickly if he considers the person thatxx
he is with to be “hella cool” and capable of survivingxx
and, by extent, keeping him alive too.xx

spooked by other people easily, kyle can be somewhatxx
flighty or quick to move on from people but his loyaltyxx
can be earned. it’s pretty easy for him to get attachedxx
to people, though, especially older or father-like figuresxx
