History:: Poppy was born on the streets of San-Jose to two
street dogs. She was the youngest of a litter of 8 pups. When
she was only a few months old, her parents and siblings were
captured by humans from the pound. Poppy however had been
hiding within an old dirty bed duvet and thus was left. She didn't
know what to do so stayed where she was. After what felt like
forever, the young pup was found by a male dog - Loke - who took
her in. He named her "Poppy" after the flowers that he found round
her. She traveled with him from her birth place all the way to San
Diego where she is currently living. With the help of this gentle male
she has managed to thrive and grow.

History:: Loke was bred in San Francisco to a stray and a
house pet. His mother was a pure-bred Golden who met and fell
for a stray Mastiff. Even though his mother's owner didn't want
the pups he wasn't the type to kill them before they were born.
Loke was the eldest of three siblings and thus the biggest. He
spent the first 8 weeks in the care of his mother's owner but once
he and his siblings became of age, the human dropped them off
at a local shelter so they could get good homes. Loke was the only
who didn't get adopted due to his temperament being too much like
his stray sire. One night, a large dog broke into the shelter and took
Loke; this turned out to be his father. From the age of three months,
Loke was on the streets roaming with good ol' pa. When he was 1 1/2,
his father was taken by humans and never seen again. So Loke spent
a few more months in his birth city before deciding to leave, traveling
along the coast. While in San-Jose, the large stray came across an
abandoned pup - Poppy -, took her under his care and named her "Poppy".
He taught her how to survive in the streets and on the road, showing her
how to steal food from humans, how to avoid being caught as-well as
how to avoid unnecessary fights with others. They've only recently been
in San Diego.
