Ever since Cecelia was young, she wanted to make the next big robot. From Iron Giant to
transformers, she was infatuated. When she came to America to study mechanical engineering
and was offered a position with Boeing after she graduated, Cecelia thought that she had her life
figured out. If she had known that the zombie apocalypse was going to upend her job before she
even got her toes wet and turn her boss into a slavering monster, she might've thought twice about
trying so hard for her degree. At least she is -or she hopes- a little useful to the group, helping
them fix things here and there.

Cecelia's always been on the more quiet and paranoid side- the type to review and re-review even
her grocery list. The apocalypse hasn't helped to remedy that, instead intensifying her anxious
aura. Most of her fear isn't directed towards being eaten or becoming a zombie; rather, Cecelia's
uncertain just how useful she is to the group as a whole, her strength, speed, and stamina
middling at best, her severe nearsightedness a liability. She's afraid it's just a matter of time before
she's abandoned, but until then she'll work tirelessly to prove herself.

Picks at her nails/twists her hands when she's nervous; it's also her tell. Very soft spoken, still has a
pretty distinguishable Chinese accent. Basically blind without her glasses. Has a machete-esque
weapon that she soldered herself. Wears a lot of oversized hoodies. Has a habit of cracking just about
every bone in her body when she has downtime/it's safe. Wants to be a good cook but definitely isn't.
Gets cold extremely easily. The opposite of picky; will eat everything and do anything with no
complaint, despite her more waifish appearance. Loves to sing and play guitar, but hasn't had the
chance in a long time. An extremely light sleeper; kind of constantly tired. Dreams of owning a little
grey cat and living in a house with a white picket fence. Is the type to color-code everything and
label them with name, date, and time, even her clothing.

AJ seems like he much prefers his own company, something that
Cecelia can definitely sympathize with. However, his more surly
and sullen aura, along with his penchant for moodiness and
lashing out, means Cecelia certainly has reservations towards the

Aria definitely has an air of optimism and cheer that Cecelia
remembers from her freshman year, undergrad days. She does
appreciate how open and caring the girl is, and thinks her sunny
disposition is definitely something to strive for. However, it also
means she sees Aria like a naive little sister.

Sage is one of the few she knows from Before, and Cecelia's
honestly so glad to see a familiar face. She can't deny that they
work well together, and Sage's steady energy, along with her very
applicable skills, make it seem like she's made for the apocalypse.
However, Cecelia can't help but feel like she's dependent on Sage.

born to a single homesteading father in the barren
wilderness of alaska, raelynn sage huerta has known
darkness and loneliness her entire life. you either
fend for yourself, or the forest takes you. when
you live five hours from the nearest walmart, finding
food and amenities can become almost impossibly
difficult, so you learn rather quickly that the only
option for survival is independence and an intense
drive to keep yourself alive. the moment you slip
up, the moment you stop watching your own back,
that's the moment when you lose everything you've
worked for. thankfully, despite her isolation, sage
was able to get a decent education through the
wonders of modern technology, and she gained an
intense love for wildlife and nature which helped her

sage feels for alexander. she
can tell the boy has a weight

to lean on if he should ever
need it, but she can tell he's
extremely independent and
capable by himself. she sees
him as a younger version of
herself, and will find it difficult

dislike her, but he doesn’t like her either. Cops freak
him out, even if she’s not a working cop, he’s still

Her efforts to make everyone happy
Bothers him. AJ prefers not to be
pestered, especially when he’s
feeling upset. He’d much rather
deal with his emotions alone.
He doesn’t like her very much

Something about this guy reminds himself

She seems smart, kind, and gives him

her. He does, however, feel that she’s
