bennet (goes by benny or ben) wilson. 18. cismale. bisexual!
born to a drunk dad and a very timid mom, bennet has grown knowing
when to hide when he sees something wrong, and blocking out stuff that
upsets him. really just wants to move out of his terror of a house and
begin a life of his own. he wants to write a book and become a famous
author. don't get him started on his love for literature and history.
nighttime was the worst time for benny. his dad would come home in a
rage, and so bennet learned to stay up and listen for the key sounds
of his father. eventually, he became too afraid to fall asleep at
night. every shadow could be another monster wanting to prey on him.
he preferred to stay up and make sure he and his younger brother were left
alone and okay instead of risking any hurt.
(he doesn't trust his mom because why is she not doing
anything to help them?)
other than that, bennet has a soft smile and he's always attentive.
he will not talk about his family life. he always seems a bit nervous,
biting his nails and his hands always seem a bit too shaky.
at school, he likes to hang out in the library by himself, as he doesnt
really have any friends. he thinks they'll just get tired of him.
always has straight a's. teachers adore him, but he just knows that
good grades will help him get out of his own little hell a lot faster.

fiana is often considered a bit of an oddball by her family. they've never understood her fear of anything having to do with the sky or heights, so they often have to go out of their way to plan trips or vacations, because she won't fly in airplanes. of course, there was the crash, but they'd figured she would have gotten over that by now. other than that, fiana is a very active soul, and can often be found in a nearby nature reserve, hiking or just enjoying the plant life. she also loves writing short poems and stories, often inspired by what she sees on the trail, though she'll never share these with you unless she feels you're very close friends.

when fiana was young, she wasn't afraid of anything. well, except for spiders, but you get the point. she loved cloudgazing and pretending to be a pilot, and everyone thought that was going to be her future occupation. that is, until the accident. she was around six, and it was fiana's first time on an airplane. she was going on a small cessna 182 with a friend as part of a birthday gift, and she was unbelievably excited. even the turbulence didn't bother her, to the point where she spent the whole flight giggling and pointing out the window. but then it happened.
that same day, a group of children were celebrating another birthday, down on the ground. they thought it would be fun to release all of the balloons from the party into the sky, and the wind immediately snatched them away.
up in the sky a little while later, one of those same balloons floated up in front of a small plane. the pilot, not realizing what a threat it posed, flew on, thinking the balloon would be blown out of the way, and they could continue. but it didn't. instead, the balloon was sucked closer, and the long string got tangled in the propellor. long story short, the plane crashed chaotically, killing fiana's best friend and traumatizing her deeply.

Fair skinned and petite in build, Cassie is the unsuspecting type. No
thing really remarkable comes to mind when thinking of her, other
than her red hair and angel blue eyes. She has soft features about h
er and her face is spotted with freckles. While smaller in build she's
not particularly strong but could hold her own for a bit if need be.

- The type of person to take things head on, and not hesitate for a second. However what she lacks in self
control she makes up for with perseverance. You can throw pretty much anything her way, if she wants it
enough she'll find a way to cope and over come; she's not easily discouraged.
- Known for her boundless energy and a fiery spirit that tends to cause trouble. She's a restless soul and en
joys stirring up drama in her free time.
- Her relentless ambition also causes problems, however usually with other people. She doesn't know when
or how to stop, definitely power hungry in that regard. When people get in the way of her success she does
not take likely to it. She hates to be bossed around and any effort to control her independence is met with
bold intensity and discontent.
- People often assume she'll try to win at any cost, and while that is true for the most part, she likes to ea
rn the success. She finds pride in being number one, but needs to know that she is there because of hard
work and resilience. She plays fair, as shocking as it may seem.
- An action oriented person, assertive and domineering at most times. She's impulsive by nature and but
enjoys playing the leader and can become serious once she needs to be.
- Fairly outgoing, not the most social but she can hold a conversation when it's necessary. She prefers to m
