squealing and flailing, out came a sable-colored pup into this world in arm
enia almost six years ago. beau was the biggest pup, but also the sweetest
and gentlest one in the litter. that hasn't changed much as he has aged.
ter all, the only breeds of dog that could even rival his height would be th
e great dane, irish wolfhound, and scottish deerhound. even then, they di
dn't have the weight he bears and they didn't possess the muscle he owns.
but it isn't his size that is the biggest part of him. it's his heart. he has eno
ugh room in there for every being on this very earth and then some, thoug
h this has led to some rather unfortunate tales. he grew up with the same
people whom had bred him. living in an enclosed, locked wire crate the w
hole day hadn't been very entertaining or healthy, but he managed. he was
well fed and well watered and his humans hadn't laid a hand on him. in fac
t, his own kind did instead. beau was introduced to dog-fighting when he
was a year old, but the adolescent still hadn't obtained a single mean bone
in his body and refused to put his enormous, powerful jaws onto another.
one year of bloody wounds and broken bones, and his owners decided they
were better off not paying for a dog that didn't even pay them back. so, th
ey sold him. flying from armenia to the united states was rather traumatic
for the two-year-old, but the payoff had been wonderful. when he first arr
ived at alistair's ranch, he was locked up in the home for two weeks, but it

ng access to amenities that the other strays do not. frequently, he makes stops back at alistair's ranch in order to bring back fresh food for his comrad
es and to say hello to the man who rescued him from his horrid life half-way across the world. to this day, beau still doesn't bear much of a mean bon
e, but he has worked up the courage to defend himself if the time ever comes, proving to be a valuable member of the pack in terms of power.
