as first impressions go, nirvana can often be
described as mysterious and impeccably quie
t however, she is known to be rather benevo
lent towards her fellow members. that being
said, she doesn't tolerate those who are disr
rspectful and can be known to have a bit of a
confrontational side, although never aggress
ive about things - she'll happily be the one t
o speak her mind when others are scared to.

nirvana was merely born into a shelter just o
utside of town and quickly learnt that her lif
e was simply behind bars, awaiting the day t
hat every dog imagined off, but this was not
the fairytale life she was told about. she rem
ained at the shelter until the day her kennel
wasn't locked securely and ran into the city.

history: aso and his sister were illegal imports from persia, at the age of one and a half.
unfortunately, the operation was shut down, and in the midst of all the chaos, the kennels
were unknowingly opened. a few dogs escaped, aso and zana included, into the city of edrona.
they formed a makeshift group of sorts, a pack of their own. the pack, consisting of mostly
persian imports, had no idea how to survive in the drastically different environment. slowly
but surely, starvation, disease, and exposure whittled down their numbers, until all that
remained were the two saluki siblings. desperate, ragged, and half-delirious from eating
rat poisoned carcasses, the two found the ghosts of edrona, and begged to join the pack.
aso and zana have never quite forgiven the city, and they regard their induction to the pack
with a mixture of shame, gratitude, and self-loathing. there is hate in their hearts, a raw,
festering wound (aso hides it better than zana). it keeps them warm on the coldest nights,
but drives them to ever remain on the borders of the pack, never quite fitting in, never quite
letting themselves.
