Appearance Kol is a bit short for a gnome, standing at just 2โ11โ. Her height is often hidden behind her exuberant attitude and energy, often jumping or climbing just to touch something or speak to someone face-to-face. She has neon yellow-green straight hair pulled into a ponytail for convenience, and amber eyes. Sheโs has pale, slightly pink skin, like a
very โcoolโ or โwinterโ toned human could. Kol is almost always seen with a big smile. She wears leather armor, and this gaudy rainbow beanie made from Steveโs wool.
Personality Kol basically embodies the idea of a โsunny personalityโ. She has an incredibly optimistic and jovial outlook on the world. It takes extreme events, such as a natural disaster, or constant minor annoyances, to upset her. Kol is also rather sociable for a gnome. She sees every new person as a potential friend and treats them all with the same level of closeness and affection as another race would a best friend. In her gnomish wanderlust and her chosen job sheโs met hundreds of people, and remembers them all as friends. It truest takes a
lot to make Kol wary of someone, especially if itโs something she discovered after befriending them.
Kol can talk someoneโs ear off about her half-baked ideas to invent a skyship that can travel to the Sun, or the โnecessityโ to built a permanent gate to the Sun.
History Kol was born to woolybug ranchers, and consequently her first obsession was these curious creatures. Steve is actually the first woolybug she raised on her own, all the way from a egg to an adult. He refused to leave her side, so she decided to take him along and set out on her own, weaving blankets and pillows from his precious wool for nobles. At some point during her travels, she had a long discussion about celestial bodies with some drunken astronomers and had an idea.
Maybe the Sun is a God. Not that the Sun was
created by a God, but
is one. An undiscovered God, trying to communicate via light, but no one can hear It, or can understand It. Obviously, the first step is to visit the Sun so Kol can hear It. But thatโs going to be hard.
So Kol paid for fighting and magic lessons, prayed hard to this โundiscovered Godโ, preached to the astronomers (who laughed now that they werenโt drunk) and to anyone who would listen (not many would). She gained her clerical abilities, and is now trying to fulfill her half-baked idea.
