her mother made sure to enroll her in as many "princess" classes
as possible. from a young age, emersyn was enrolled in singing l
essons, as well as classes on etiquette and style, all to fit into t
he princess mold her mother made for her. to this day, emersyn
is still afraid of disappointing others because of how her mothe
r treated her. her lessons as a child also stuck with her so she k
nows how to act like the perfect princess, she just refuses to.

emersyn is actually really smart. she excels at sciences and co
uld pick up a book and finish reading it all in the same day. she
absorbs knowledge like a sponge, which is half the reason why
she knows so many secrets. she's too observant for her own go
od. according to her mother, being smart is useless and will on
ly hurt her in her pursuit of a prince, so she's been taught to h
ide her intelligence her whole life. emersyn puts up a dumb, a
irhead front so people won't look deeper and find out she's act

and spreading them like wildfire. most times, it's just innocent

her everyday attire is usually just a pair of leggings and a sweat
er. she's always feels cold, so she always carries at least a sweat
shirt with her at all times. she also has about three tubes of ch
apstick on her at a time. keegan is known to misplace things, an
d she would die if she ever went an hour without applying chap
stick. she's not usually one to wear make up, but she will for sp
ecial occasions. she hates dresses and can only be forced into th
em by her mother. she does have a rose necklace that her father
gave her that she wears all of the time, but usually no jewelry.

staff. because of this, keegan as always had a soft spot for the h
elp. she was essentially raised by ten parents. she has no sibling
s, so sometimes she acts a bit spoiled because of this. she can't
help the fact that she has only child syndrome, she was pamper
ed as a child. growing up, keegan's parents encouraged her to d
o a lot of charity work so she wouldn't be so spoiled. they also m
ade her interact with other children daily so she wouldn't have
only child syndrome. this had the opposite affect; by prying her
away from the comfort of her library at home, she began to ha
te socializing. most kids just wanted to be friends with her beca
use of who her parents are. she still has trust issues from this.

keegan likes to think that she's unpleasant to be around and giv
es off a tough, "don't bother me" kind of vibe, but i mean she's
only five feet tall. she has a soft, happy side that comes out a

ts uncomfortable when things get too chaotic. she will try her
hardest to keep her stone cold, uncaring face on, but she usu
lly cracks when she's surrounded by things that make her hap

lash out physically, she will scoop to low blows when she gets
heated. it's honestly pretty easy to set her off; she has the pa

s to apologize to anyone. her stubborn pride gets in the way.
keegan is also surprisingly stubborn when she wants to be. he
r pride gets in the way of her mending most of her relations.

—sinclair's biggest fear is losing herself. she’s already not her own person, what with the shadow demons owning her soul and all, but she’s afraid of losing the rest of herself as well. some days, it feels like she has no control over what she does at all, but other days it’s easier to resist. every day is a fight over who gets to make the choices, and it shouldn’t be that way. she’s tired of being a voodoo puppet for the friends on the other side.

sinclair isn’t totally bothered by emmy’s presence most of the time. she gets pretty irritated with the girl, though, whenever they’re in public and she swaps personalities. sinclair would be hella mad if she knew what emmy and kai were doing, even though she doesn’t really have a right to be, so it’s a good thing she doesn’t know. the two could eventually become close friends if they could look past their differences.

their relationship started out as one of convenience. they both got something out of dating each other, non-romantically. despite his annoying qualities, sinclair has actually grown to tolerate him, dare i say like him, and has somewhat developed real feelings for him. she hates it, too, because she knows good and well he doesn’t feel the same way. she’s also somewhat scared because she doesn’t want him to get hurt by her shadow demons.

sinclair actually thoroughly enjoys shiloh’s company. they’ve been close friends for a really long time, and she’s one of the only people that wasn’t scared by the shadow demons when she first saw them. they’ve caused plenty of trouble together growing up, and that’s not likely to change any time soon. if sinclair had a body to hide, shiloh would definitely be the first person she would call.

beverly is way too happy and excited all the time. her personality is too overpowering for sinclair to handle. sinclair actually gets stressed out and tired by just even being around her. she doesn’t understand how someone could be that bubbly all the time. any interaction between the two is extremely draining on both of them. luckily, they mutually dislike each other and have an unspoken agreement to avoid interacting at all costs.

sinclair has no idea why he hangs around her honestly. he’s so nice and almost funny. he tries to help out with her shadow demon problem too, and sinclair just really appreciates their friendship. of course she has a weird way of showing it. she teases him too much, but it’s all good-natured and he doesn’t seem too bothered by it, which is good. “dude, stop smiling. you’re teeth are hurting my eyes.”

sinclair actually despises roisin. one look at the girl will send a wave of anger through her immediately. she tries too hard to control everybody, and sinclair has issues with people trying to tell her what to do. she has shadow demons doing it already, she doesn’t need some stuck-up queen bee trying to do it too. they’re 110% the jim and dwight of fantasia university. they’re always pulling stunts to embarrass and one-up each other. ro also flirts with kai, and sinclair gets a feeling she’s doing it just to make her mad. sinclair would never go out of her way to have an actual confrontation with her, but she’ll sure give the girl drop-dead stares in the halls when they pass.

sorry, but sinclair will probably only ever refer to him as fitzherbert because it’s fun to say and not much brings her joy. he’s a funny guy, and once sinclair gets past his sometimes obnoxious personality, the two could be good friends. they like to pull pranks together, and if they’re not doing that, they can just sit and talk. he’s pretty chill, and sinclair doesn’t mind his company.
