Hogwarts hasn't quite been the same the months after the war. This was especially true for a group of young a
dults- now all successfully progressed into their 6th-7th years, who had faced their adversities head on only to
be plagued by battle wounds and scars at the very end. They're all battling their own enemies within their bod
ies at this time and certainly the idea of house unity- school unity isn't helping whatsoever. Especially when Ho
gwarts decided it'd be a good idea to bring in some... 'international' students (if you will), from the Durmstran
g and Beauxbatons. Durmstrang's headmaster died at the hands of death eaters after betraying them years bef
ore and the Beauxbatons housed more than one spy fighting the war. Regardless, all three schools have conven
ed once again, not for the Triwizard, but for some sort of reunion in hopes of patching up old wounds and star
ting again. With the dementors guarding each gate, everyone is just trying to survive the post-war horrors.

- Simultaneously racked with guilt and loneliness after everything that happened, quite defensive whenever
someone brings up her death eater past. It's a sour spot, an open wound, and she always feels the need to de
fend herself when people question her integrity.
- Still feels a certain bitterness that's impossible to shake, and her temper flares whenever people speak ill
of her parents even though she joined them unwillingly and purely out of obligation.
- Her innate sense of self preservation has caused anguish and kept her alive all at the same time. Her insti
nct is to protect herself but that doesn't make her completely heartless. She'd do anything for loved ones an
d die for them if necessary, she just does everything in her power to make sure it would never get that far
- Very achievement oriented and thrives when she's being challenged. She's fueled by her overwhelming amb
ition and is never one to turn down an opportunity to advance in some way.
- Despite her seemingly domineering personality she's actually more complaisant than people expect. She h
as a need to please people and obligation is her biggest weakness. Perhaps if she had more of a backbone sh
e could've denied her parent's wishes and refused to join them.
- Even before the war she wasn't an outgoing or expressive person, always more reclusive and comfortable
in the safety of her own little bubble. She was more than happy with a good book and never felt the need
to socialize. She feels far more lonely now, under the scrutinizing eyes of her classmates; she's desperate
for interaction, someone to take her mind off of the hate and fear being thrown her way
- That being said, she feels possessive and protective over the ones who do stick with her; clings on desper
ately to any kind consolation her loved ones can offer.
- - Won't sugarcoat things and has never been a comforting person. She tells it like it is because in her eyes,
the truth is more important than sparing feelings. She always feels guilty if she inadvertently hurts someone however, and small thoughtful gestures are usually her go to when trying to make up for it.

at he must to get the best grades, preferential treatment, and the latest brooms and gadgets. if there is a social connection he feels will bene

── yuta's wand is formed of black walnut wood with a dragon heartstring core, t
hirteen and a quarter inches long with hard flexibility though he's rather incapab
le of wielding it at the moment; trembling uncontrollably, yu's magic fizzling out
even when he does manage to maintain a grip on his wand, he is incabable of fo
rming a corporeal patronus presently, in all honesty he can barely manage lumos
── his boggart has shifted since the war, it now replays the moment he can't se
em to get out of his head. the silhouette of the person he adores so much jumpi
ng in to protect him, but this time he doesn't succeed. yuta can't defend himself
against boggarts at the moment so the discovery of this new fear wasn't exactly
a pleasant one. ── the head boy of hogwarts, though he's pessimistic about mai
ntaining that position given his present state of affairs he certainly won't tell an
yone that. extremely defensive and even quicker to snap than usual, he feels th
e need to overcompensate and threaten people more than ever to protect hims
elf. ── you thought yuta was scary, you should meet his mother, not to point fi
ngers but there's a reason yuta's father was the one to file for divorce. she bear
s the dark mark on her left arm and has a very withering view of mortals and m
udbloods. she's generally the place of origin of yuta's more discriminatory belie
fs, not that yu ever put much energy into being selfless or egalitarian on his ow
n anyway ── yuta does have an english name, given to him by his parents when
they had first immigrated to the u.k. and felt a need to assimilate. but lord, he
always hated it even as a child and it's hopefully all but forgotten ── outside of
the hogwarts uniform, yuta still tends to dress fairly preppy with sweaters, butt
on ups, and slacks. it's just very important to him to make a favorable or at leas
t attractive impression. his closet is a terrifying, walk-in experience of argyle, t
urtlenecks, & cardigans. if he's not dressed like a snob there's something wrong
