- Kat has been - more or less - affectionately
nicknamed as the "Wayward Princess" by the
press, and for a good reason. She used to be
a quiet and well-behaved child who had fully
submitted to the rigid rules upheld by the
royal family. That was until the death of her
eldest brother, Crown Prince Reimund, which
happened under suspicious circumstances
and made the royal family of Germany a
favourite of the tabloids. If it wasn't the loss
itself, the speculation most certainly got to
then seventeen-year-old Kat, and made her
pretty much go off the rails.
Her parents, King Emmerich II and Queen
Sophia sent her away from court, whilst her
only remaining brother, Mathias, assumed
the role of Crown Prince.
She has spent the past five years traveling,
running from responsibilities, and denying
her grief.
As long as she didn't attract the attention
of the public by causing some sort of scandal,
her parents were willing to overlook her
behaviour, and she has recently learned why:
upon finally returning to court, she was told
that she had been betrothed to a complete
stranger; someone she had most recently
met as a child.

- Kat is a free spirit who cares little for the conducts that most royals adhere to. She's a colorful individual, so much so that it's easy
to be charmed by her spontaneity and wit, and to be deceived by the careless facade that she upholds. She often comes off as open
and confident, but in truth, she doesn't easily reveal what she's thinking or feeling deep-down. The death of her brother and her
inability to deal with her grief hasn't exactly left her as the most well-adjusted young adult, and she harbours a Pandora's box worth
of insecurities. She doesn't like facing difficult emotions, and has a habit of engaging in a whole lot of escapism.
Despite all of this, Kat is adventurous and passionate. She tends to trust her instincts, which often leads to what most perceive as
impulsivity and stubbornness, and has lead to many royals labeling her as undisciplined or irresponsible. Although this is somewhat
accurate, she prefers to think of it as having a sense of humour.
