In her younger years, a fiery soul with a bad habit of
rushing off before conversations finish. Outgoing and
brash, she's one of the loudest cats you'll ever meet.
Befriending her isn't hard at all! If one were to compare
her to a human trope, it'd be the fun aunt; she's just
as curious about new things and still carries the same
inquisitive nature from her kittenhood. It's difficult
for her to say no to things, a trait she's been steadily
working on. It's your mistake, however, if you ever
mistake this for complacency; Goldenleaf is fiercely
protective of the ones she cares for and will lay
down her life to protect them. She's fun and games
until the situation calls for focus.

Redpaw is, quite frankly, a grump. He can find anything to complain about, even something as small as dirt between his toes. He's grouchy, moody, and oftentimes impossible to console or reason with. He tends to keep to himself and is usually unpleasant to those who approach him, his responses ranging from moderately rude to downright hostile and angry. This factor makes it extremely difficult for him to make friends, since most cats gain an immediate dislike of him the second he opens his muzzle to fire back an insulting remark at their introduction. Not having a confidant makes life much harder for Redpaw, although he's never really known any different. Alienating his clanmates comes easily to him, which unfortunately compounds his loneliness.

Redpaw's parents, who were once warriors of the clan, asked the clan to take him in, but they kept his sister, Moth, with them. He willingly joined the clan at 9 moons of age, but as time went on he began to feel more and more out of place. His parents visited a few times, but recently stopped coming to see him. He believes that his parents didn't actually want him, and the sense of rejection he feels as a result has lead to him keeping entirely to himself. Although he hasn't had a chance to prove it yet, Redpaw is exceptionally loyal. He's the sort of cat that would put his life in danger for those he cares about. In fact, he'd do almost anything for a friend... if he had one.

Despite his unpleasant personality, Redpaw is still an intelligent cat and a quick learner. He generally does very well in training - when he's not arguing with his mentor - and this is helped by the fact that Redpaw is almost always practising his skills. He's quite physically strong for an apprentice, and this definitely gives him an advantage in training - and any other fight he might get into. He feels as though he's set apart from the other apprentices because he started his apprenticeship so late, and seeing the younger apprentices do better than him wounds his pride, but it's also a source of motivation for him to become stronger and better.
