history ➤ eclipse was the eldest kit born in a litter of three. she was the "prize kit" of the bunch, receiving first drinks from her mother and all the love and affection a mother could give. of course, her siblings were doted on as well, but none as much as eclipse- she was the darkest, a staple color within the black death. shortly after becoming old enough to train, guiness, her withdrawn father, grew ill with a severe bout of greencough. magpie praised mania for choosing her mate with such a disease. left to fend for himself, as per tradition, he quickly died in the leafbare.
eclipse grew cold and calculating as the moons passed, caring only for her siblings and remaining mother. she quickly ascended the ranks, soon becoming the empress of the black death.
after hearing of the prophical cats, she quickly rounded up her group and are currently scaling the mountain.

frostpaw is easily described as lazy. She has no reason to not be working as hard as the other apprentices but only tries to reach the bare minimum, able to pass her warrior assessment but not excelling in anything. The only thing some cats may consider her above average is sneaking/stalking, because she always leaves camp on her own. Frostpaw does not have any malicious intent when doing this, but gets quickly bored in the camp and decides to wander around the surrounding territory. Even though she is not the most preferable apprentice, Frostpaw is still very social and approachable.

Clan born, Frostpaw was born in a litter of 2. While her littermate, Briarpaw, got far more attention than her, this never bothered Frostpaw too much because she never liked the spotlight. Still, once she became an apprentice it was clear how much her mentor wishes they got a more cooperative apprentice.

personality ➤ while she used to be a rambunctious and outgoing kit, after Wild's death Lurk became very quiet and reserved. she's extremely smart and can usually guess what a cat is thinking or feeling (like someone who can "read" other people). it is unlikely for her to speak much and she appears judgmental when conversing with most other cats, but really it is just the way she analyzes them. however, this usually results in others being put off by her and avoiding her. she is skeptical of mostly everything and trusts very few. however, once she opens up a bit, she is great at working in a team and will protect her loved ones with her life under any circumstances. she is a quick learner and because of this quickly became a skillful hunter and fighter under black death's training regiment. she is "in her mind" a lot- usually analyzing and watching the world and cats around her.
history ➤ she was born into black death and began training since she started walking. that's all she remembers since she can remember anything - training, training, training. never has any idea what exactly she's training for, all she knows is that it's extremely important, and if you don't abide by those rules your life is on the line. she doesn't quite understand the concept of Mania (she understands WHAT it is but not WHY) but she goes along with the religion anyway so as to not be cast out. when her brother Wild fell sick she was mortified, and tried to help him out as best she could, even though she often got in trouble for doing so with the older cats. when it became clear that he wasn't going to survive and black death left him to die, she was not only traumatized but also filled with a desire to get vengeance on all the cats who didn't care.

Her father, a tom named Robinstorm, died 7 moons later in a fight with a badger. As the only kit of her litter, she was left alone. She trained as an apprentice, but didn't feel happy with that destiny. She had never aspired to be a warrior like her fellow denmates, but her heart lay in the herbs. The previous medicine cat trained her in the ways of healing, and after she was trained, the medicine cat succumbed to sickness. Dapplemoon pledged that she would protect her clan from sickness and injury the best she could. Soon after, she took on her own apprentice, someone who she hopes will follow in her footsteps, when it's time for her to take over.

upon approach, it's obvious what comes to mind when viewing
this baby-faced beast: what's with the name? the male ponders

but to those who manage to stick around a tad bit longer, they'll
quickly learn it's more about where his heart rests than anything
else. wolf is a strong-willed brute, managing to push through past
problems even when under the weather to protect his clan. when
he begins to speak, all confidence and moxie flow from those silky
jowls of his... cunning words forming elegantly from his sharp fangs
as he lifts his head in a howl of laughter, right when you think you're
