digging deeper. sly yet sweet, yuna was once part of a suburban family who she had loved dearly. they had cared for her dearly, and in return, she cared for them. Guarding the house, keeping an eye on the little ones, and of course, providing all the love she had in her heart. her household was within the more isolated areas of the suburbs, almost completely lost within forest and brush-- this was where she had developed and honed her swimming and hunting skills. yuna often hunted squirrels, rabbits, birds, fish, and even made some attempts at cervines. despite having a high prey drive the spaniel also took time to relax and enjoy the nature around her, whether it be relaxing in the morning dew embedded upon the soft grass, or listening to all of the animal life surrounding her at night, she has a deep love and respect for the forest. However, when the virus spread, she dog's family all died off one by one. First the children, then the adults. she was pained to watch those she loved go, and spent several days still on the home property before heading off. She was plenty capable of living in the forest, but it was until she came across a pack near a river that she realized she was not alone. The unknown pack had first approached her with aggression, but noticed the spaniels keen survival skills and had offered her solace within their community-- but she felt something off about the pack.. something.. corrupt. When met with the leader, she soon realized these were no dogs she wanted to be associated with. The cold demeanor and the obviously fake welcoming of the riverside pack was no home to yuna. she soon had made her way into the inner city, where she had met the northrock pack. she was found fishing within the park, rather anxious and unsure about these other dogs. however, when met with clear but assertive dogs, she felt slightly at ease with this pack over those who had shown her aggression. choosing her words strategically, she had managed to convince the dogs that she was not part of riverside, and persuaded them into allowing her into the pack. met by althea herself, she felt the presence of a good leader, a good pack, good dogs, and she then knew this was home.
