𝐀𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚

Gender: female Age: 7 Breed: Bernese mountain dog Pack: Northrock Rank: matriarch Crush/Mate: not yet Kin/offspring: not in rp. Personality: A natural born leader, Althea takes into account the views of every dog in her pack. She’s noble and kind, and will take in as many as she can without harming those in the pack. She wants to do the best for them, and sometimes gets overwhelmed because of it. She has a fierce disliking for the Riverside pack, but avoids war at all costs. She’s wise, especially for her age, and makes sure to distribute resources evenly. Althea sometimes gets overhwhelmed with her duties and just wishes she could lose all the responsibility. She can be a bit snappy at particular times, especially when she’s stressed, although she tried not to be. Althea grew up with a family who would always take her to the mountains and on runs, so she’s rather athletic and accustomed to the rugged terrain of the Northrock territory, which is mostly amongst a mountain slope. She was a stray for the first few months of her life, so she’s street smart and knows how to find prey when there’s no garbage.

Gender: male Age:4 Breed: Doberman Pack: Northrock Rank: subordinate Crush/Mate: not yet Kin/offspring: none irp, has a brother who died from in the fight ring Personality: Chance is an incredible fighter and hunter. Of course, his strength and size play into this greatly, but he’s well practiced- none of his moves are lazy. He knows what he’s doing. He’s a clever, intelligent dog, although he sometimes acts a little stupid- or at least, appears so, because of his goofy nature. Chance is the sweetest dog ever, even though most fear him, and would o anything to protect those he cares about. He’s talkative and loving, and overall a wonderful companion and packmate. Most would call him a gentle giant. Life Before: Chance was, unfortunately, used as a fighting dog. His owners didn’t care much for him, and it’s a miracle he’s as happy as he is today. He often has nightmares of the past, and when brought up, will shut down, as he watched his brother die before his own eyes, and has had to kill before, in order to save himself. Other: has a scar across his right flank, running from his front leg to about a third of the way down his side.

Kin/offspring: none Irp but has many brothers and sisters Personality: Esme is a chipper dog, always excited for some reason or another. She’s kind, but quiet, rarely speaking her mind, unless she feels strongly about something. She’s especially shy around those she likes, because she’s afraid of scaring them off or then not liking her. For this reason, her sentences are normally short and to the point, untill she gets used to someone, in which case she starts to open up more and is actually rather talkative. However, don’t underestimate her. If you dare defy her, she becomes angered quickly and is not afraid to punish those who attempt to dethrone her.
Esme is a wonderful hunter due to her breeding, being part whippet and borzoi- two hounds known for their hunting ability. She’s agile and fast, and not afraid to show it. Esme covets the leader position, and may end up fighting for the rank, despite her timidity. She grew up in a typical family home- there’s not much remarkable about her backstory.

Species: Turkish Kangal are well known for hunting
wolves and protecting livestock. With a bite force
of 731 psi, they are not a dog you'd want to mess with.
They are peaceful to known friends and family but
territorial to all else.

History & Other - Nithin was born in a puppy mill and sold to a pet shop. The boy was then bought not long after by a sheep farmer and well known hunter. Once Nithin was brought to the farm, he was rigorously trained by the farmer and the other Kangals in the art of protecting the herd, as well as hunting and fighting. His owner enjoyed hunting water fowl and deer and occasionally joined his friends in trophy hunting for wolves or bears. When the farmer succumbed to the disease, Nithin abandoned the place he once knew as home in search for a better life. It was soon did he learn that humans have fallen to this same illness.

also, he wears a hunting collar commonly used on these dogs when hunting which has short embedded metal spikes to prevent wolves or other predators from biting their necks.

Name - Jamie
Species: Basenji. This species are known for their inability
to produce a bark. Instead, they produce a yodel or scream. They
can still growl, whine, and howl like regular dogs. They are used as
hunting dogs and love to climb.

History & Other - Jamie spent most of her life as a lapdog. Because of this, she wasn't skillfully adept enough to surivive on her own. She could raid the garbage bins every now and then but all the spots that weren't taken were being fought over. Luckily, she came across the Northrock pack. She is very grateful to the matriarch for letting her in and admires her a lot. She now spends her days with her new pack, loving the new companionship.
