Brief History: Was seperated from his brother Zylar during the attack, and was chased down by a member of the rival pride until he fell into a river. Assuming he was doomed, he was left alone but he fought the current and made it out.

NAME kesi─ meaning born in a time of great trouble. she has no nicknames asides from kes, which is only ever used sparsely, by her elder brother ashura.
GENDER kesi is a female, meaning she will one day grow into a lioness.
AGE she was only a few months old when her parents were culled.
SKILLS kesi is built with a lot of lean muscle and low fat, especially for a cub. due to her smile size yet lean, agile build, she is incredibly speedy -- even by an adult lion's standards. her speed is long-lived, as she is decent, if not average stamina and endurance. she's stealthy and good at hiding due to her light paws and sneakiness. if not for her speed, she'd be long dead.
WEAKNESSES though her claws are sharp, kesi does not have the coordination to fight. she is strong, yes, but her strength will do her no good when it comes to defending herself -- as she is bound to get hurt in the end, her clumsiness being too overpowering for her agility to make up for it. and, though she is smart, kesi has horrid memory, meaning she'll never be able to learn about medicines or poison, or anything of the likes.
SPECIAL TRAIT kesi only escaped near death because of her speed, and her brother's bravery. her brother, ashura, created a distracted which allowed her a pocket of time to escape -- her small, lean body and long legs doing good when it came to fleeing death.
APPEARANCE kesi has a short, protective coat of a light tawny, sandy color. it allows her to fit in among the long, dry grass of the savannah, and because of her fur's density, she also finds it easy to keep herself protected from insects. her eyes are a burning, smoldering amber color -- so orange that it rivals the setting sun -- and her nose is triangular, a dusty brown color. she's got a lean build with long legs, slender stomach, petite body, and a lengthy tail. her ears are round and a decent, large size, good for hearing prey. lastly, her paws are small and light, good for sneaking around in the dense underbrush.
SCENT kesi scents of a warm, hot summer's day. she is the scent of comfort, really.

PERSONALITY over all, kesi is a mischevious young lioness that plays one too many pranks on other cubs her age. she's got a good heart and is incredibly protective of those weaker than herself. when it comes to playing tricks on others, kesi is an expert. she adores fooling around and is rather light-hearted. as she grows older, her personality will change a lot -- she will grow in maturity and she will gain a fiery streak to her -- but one thing she will never loose is her mischief.
LIKES waterholes, playing pinned ya', playing -- in general, black beetles, the taste of antelope, annoying her elder brother, and lastly - she adores collecting small rocks that are found near waterholes.
DISLIKES she hates all things to do with heat, meaning she's not benefiting all that much by living in the savannah.

SEXUALITY heterosexual. some day in the future, she'd like to have cubs.
EYES FOLLOW... nobody, yet.
PREFERENCES as of right now, kesi doesn't have much of a romantic interest in male cubs. she'd much rather play with the boys! but -- give it a few months, and her type will be the "protective, macho-man" type. thats not to say that she doesn't love a good play, though, as if a male lion is too serious, she'll never like them in a romantic manner. hell, she may not even like them platonically. serious lions equal snore-fest to young and old kesi.
FAMILY she was born to a mother, a father, three elder brothers in an older litter and one younger brother in her litter. there was, from oldest to youngest, sirani, ashura, alber, her -- kesi, and reeta. now it is only her and ashura, with her other siblings and their parents all dead.

PAST kesi doesn't talk about her past, much. but when she does, she reveals only small snippets of information. the moment that she will never reveal to anyone is what happened as she watched her mother be slaughtered. her eldest brother, sirani, tried to herd her out of the den to safety -- but she was frozen. and because she was frozen, he was forced to carry her by the scruff, when he too was murdered -- attacked at the back. the only reason he is dead is because of kesi, so she tells herself. she caused his death.
DEATH... kesi will die in childbirth, whether it be her first litter or maybe even a second, she is destined to die while birthing a cub.

CUB APPEARANCE as a cub, she's got dark almond colored eyes, big, round ears, a small, bright pink nose, and a small body.

NAME ashura. his name means companion, though many people call him ash as its a lot less of a mouthful than his full name.
GENDER ashura is a male, meaning he'll grow a mane at the age of a year and a half or so.
AGE he was only a few months away from being a year old when his parents were killed.
SKILLS due to his brawn and size, ashura is fairly skilled in combat. he's ferocious by nature meaning he does not hesitate to land a blow, which only further works in his favor. ashura's strength doesn't only end with his physical power, sharp teeth or sharp claws. instead, it goes further than that, as he is quite a skilled tracker. and, due to his protective nature, he's very good at spotting danger just before it happens -- primarily because he's often on edge.
WEAKNESSES because of his strength and size -- even as a cub, ashura struggles to be as fast as the lioness cubs he knows. they're a lot smaller than he meaning they're far more agile, and unfortunately, his size just doesn't allow speed to be on his side.
SPECIAL TRAIT bravery. sheer bravery got ashura out of the pickle he got himself into. he needed his younger sister, the only one remaining alive, kesi, to survive -- so he threw himself at her attacker and he used sheer will-power and determination alone to catch the lion off-guard and to blind him with his claws. ashura succeeded because of strength, determination, and fierocity.
APPEARANCE even as a cub, ashura is quite large. he's got a muscled, brawny build with a thick coat. his legs are all well-muscled and long, slender. his eyes are a pretty, dusty green that resemble drying leaves. due to his age as an older male, he's got a few very short tufts of golden growing behind his ears and on top of his head -- but they're nothing but small strands. when he gets older, though, they'll grow into a full-blown thick, golden mane of curls. as a mature male, he will be even more muscular than ever before -- with large paws, a powerful posture, a straight back and a fierce, mighty glare.
SCENT he scents of sharp, vivid things -- such as the distinct scent of berry and salt.

PERSONALITY ashura is a force to be reckoned with. he is ferocious and loyal, foolishly so. he is protective and quite domineering. this male has got a lot of leadership skills, and because of that, he is quite dominant -- not so much bossy, but he does have a slight issue following orders if they're from someone he doesn't respect. he's rebellious and his respect is hard to earn, especially when it comes to other males. ashura is fierce, both in battle and in day-to-day activities. he is confident and hot-headed, but he doesn't often lash out on other pride-members. instead, he usually just removes himself from the situation before it gets too bad.
LIKES leadership, loyalty, the warm sun, antelope, gazelle, cool breezes, sun-showers of warm rain.
DISLIKES disrespect, disloyalty, laziness, creatures that do not have opinions and that are easily bossed around -- creatures without a backbone, that do not stand up for themselves or others.

SEXUALITY heterosexual. he will begin to desire cubs as he grows older.

PREFERENCES ashura loves the fiery type of lioness. he likes a lioness that can match him and his strength and his ferocity. at the same time, he is also attracted to the complete opposite -- the gentle, passive lioness that is caring and maternal.
FAMILY he was born to a decent-sized family containing a mother, a father, an older brother, and many younger siblings. he was the second eldest son, youngest to his brother sirani, and older than his other siblings -- alber, kesi, and reeta.

PAST ashura fought to try and keep his siblings alive, and he nearly failed. because of his past and because only his youngest sister -- kesi -- remains, he is incredibly protective of her, nearly to an annoying extent. when he grows attached to someone, he also becomes incredibly protective.
DEATH... ashura will die in battle. he will be just about to land a serious blow on his opponent when they land the killing blow on his throat, then, he will bleed to death. by then -- hopefully, he would've had cubs and a mate, and quite the happy life.

CUB APPEARANCE ashura was always large, even as a cub. back then he had a golden coat consisting of tan colors, with large dusty-green eyes and a bright red nose.

Brief History: The little reddish-tan and lighter cub was born in the pride. Her mother fought off a rival lioness to protect her, but...is no longer of this world. The little cub was able to get away with Ana, her cousin, because Ana’s mother also fought...She’s meeting back up with the others.
