It all started with one wolf. This wolf, tired and frustrated with the ways in which a pack of wolves ran, had had enough. He left his birth pack for the chance to have a better life. Taking on the life of a loner, he traveled. Although he had an idea. He wanted to make his own pack but instead of calling it a pack he decided to call it a guild. This group wouldn't function like a regular pack. It would be a band of outcasts and loners seeking a place where they would be treated fairly and with respect regardless of rank. Soon this wolf encountered loners like himself and began growing his guild offering them a place within it. However none of them knew what they had just done. Having been raised in lands far from the one they were currently in, they had no idea they stepped onto kingdom soil. The kingdom of Chazar was a well known kingdom to all who lived near by. This kingdom was huge with the packs numbers to match. It was well known for being led by ruthless kings with no mercy, striking fear into any who heard the kingdom's name. Now the guild must hope they never get caught by the kingdom wolves, trespassing on their territory was bad enough. Will the guild of black river seal their fate in the kingdom? Or will they live to fight another day? Anything could happen.

appearance Cassius is of an average size for his age though he is well built with a thick pelt. His limbs and the underside of his body is white while the top side of his body is made up of mostly gray with some creams and rusty browns mixed in while his tail tip is black. Cassius' eyes are a bright orange with some yellow close to his pupils.

personality Cassius is calm and seems serious, though he can be goof when the time calls for it. He is friendly and believes everyone should be respected and treated fairly. He isn't quick to anger but when he is angry it could lead to him saying things he shouldn't. A part of him is bold, as if he shouldn't be tested although that requires a "acting before thinking" attitude which Cassius doesn't have. He would rather think things through before acting.

history Cassius was born into a pack like any other. One with an alpha who shouldn't be one, with those under him either ready to die for him or trembling with fear. Cassius felt that that was no way to live once he got older, having received some punishment for doing nothing wrong. It was not for him, so Cassius left his birth pack to find a better life.

appearance Like most wolves her age she is average is size however her build is lean and strong, or would be that way if she were healthy. She would be a fine rook or knight if weren't for her rank. Her pelt is fairly thick and hued a light cream. On her back between her shoulder blades is a black patch. The rims of her ears and part of her muzzle are also black as well as her tail tip. Shy's eyes are a brilliant golden yellow.

personality Shy is for the most part a quiet wolf. She likes to keep to herself, maybe talk with a few other pawns like herself. She hates her superiors with a passion however, seeing as they make her life very difficult. Because of them and their kingdom ways she is a pawn, and is treated like the dirt they walk on and because of that Shy is as her name suggests. Although she is quite clever and actually qualified to be a rook or even a knight seeing as she learns quickly but all her strengths are over-looked. What she really wants is to escape. To find a home where she won't have to hide.

history This wolf was born into the kingdom of chazar. Her parents were both pawns, which makes her a pawn as well. Life from the very beginning was hard, for her and her siblings. But like their mother, they pulled through. All of her family is still alive but because Shy is grown she would much rather wonder around, as pawns don't necessarily have jobs to do. She listens and observes learning all she can. Shy also hunts for her family even though it isn't much to try and feed them to keep them going.

Personality: While a bit lighter than previous rulers, he is still certainly not one to be messed with. Stone won't hesitate to punish those who have spoken badly of him. He tends to be a bit kinder to loners caught trespassing. On his soft side, he is very kind to his queen and fair to the higher ranks like him.
History: His mother, the queen at that time, died shortly after he was born due to an unknown illness. His siblings unfortunately caught it and died as well, leaving him the only survivor. After that, his life was fairly normal. After his father passed, he became king.

Personality: The female is fairly open and friendly, but dislikes personal questions. She enjoys chatting and socializing with other wolves, and like others her age, can be a troublemaker. However, she could also be described as mature for her age, often assessing a situation before entering into it. Dakota knows her own weaknesses, but doesn't like to admit them.
History: The youngster was born to Midnight and Echo, along with two other siblings. The two where loners, having left their birth packs to be together. Their lives where fairly normal until one day Midnight didn't come back from a hunt. Tragically, a deer he was attempting to take down had fatally wounded him. Echo decided to move her litter, unknowingly leading them into danger. That night, in their new den, a desperate starving bear broke in. In the chaos, Echo ordered her pups to run and promised she'd come find them. Dakota fled but was separated from her siblings, and she didn't find her mother either. She has been wandering for two weeks now, surviving only on small and easy to catch prey.

Personality: A Calm and situation analyst. He is a good wolf to himself and his allies. As a realist, he thinks outside the box.
History: As a young cub, his parents were residents of the Kingdom of Chazar, Lending their labor to serve the king and the queen. One day though, one of his parents accidentally killed an Elk in a residential forest, belonging to the queen and king. Worried that their cub might be executed, at the last second before one of the knights catch them, his parents gave their cub to one of the loners, disguised as a wise resident living in the sheds. As the cub saw his parents being dragged by like pawns, he became disheartened and tried to run to them for help, but unfortunately, The Loner grabbed him and hid him away. Feeling pity, The Loner decides to teach the cub every bit of wisdom and advice he had to the cub, explaining the laws, history, and some wise advice. Some years later, rumours of a mysterious pack, formerly the Guild is settling somewhere in the land.
As of now, the loner was uncovered by the Knights of the Kingdom and was currently giving chase. As he was caught, he gave out a long specific howl before he was killed. After hearing this howl, which resounded throughout a large part of the forest, Sapien, knowing what the howl meant, felt grievance in his heart. All those years, of care, Education, and love, He was a nice guy after all. Since he knew this is no time to grieve, he quickly sprinted far away from the territory of the kingdom till he dropped dead. Well, he was still alive, just out of energy. Once he woke up, he recovered quickly by spotting the nearby berries and eating them. After a few hours of rest, Sapien devoted himself in finding the guild, which is somewhere, in a distance. Not long after, he spotted a pack, searching for prey, so he went there to verify if they were the rumours everyone was talking about back at the kingdom. From that day on, taking up the nickname "Roger", he joined the ranks of the guild, hoping one day, his parents will get the peace they deserved.
