Hi guys! I just wanted to officially introduce myself. I’m PurpleDirewolf2019, but most people just call me purple. I’ve got 4 horses, 2 colts and 2 fillies. I plan on sending Cloud to the waterhole because she’ll need to cool off, but if anyone wants to interact with any of the others, let me know or feel free to randomly tag one

personality; dolos could easily be regarded as somewhat of a gentleman. since his fellow youths have started to return home, he has enjoyed spending his time wooing the many fillies about with his charm and gifts of particularly delicious flowers. as he has yet to have a herd of his own, he’s quite lax and friendly around colts; as far as he is aware, all of his bachelor group passed or were taken by the humans, and he does so miss them quite greatly. sometimes it’s just nice to lark about and practice your fighting skills, y’know? it can be assured that if and when he does have a herd of his own, he will positively dote upon any mare and foal whom he call his won. but it's still early spring, and unless a filly really catches his eye, he's going to wait a bit and watch how the cards fall with the loss of the more mature adults. what with his history of finding himself all alone at a young age for a short time, he has a soft spot for those in similar situations - and there seems to be a lot of that right now.
history; dolos’ mother was snaked from his natal herd when he was a yearling. her new band stallion chased him off, and his natal herd had moved on from where he had last seen them. after a few days of wandering nervously on his own, he was found by a bachelor herd, and taken into their ranks. even the following year he remained one of their younger members, and he watched several of his dear companions pass from the mysterious illness.

personality; persephone came out of the womb curious, bold, and tenacious. when it comes to discovering new things - whether it be some curious new creature or seeing humans and their metal boxes as a foal - she stands her ground and studies them. as such, she is rather well versed in risk assessing. perce has little patience for being pushed around; her stubbornness, confidence and assertiveness suits her more to giving orders than following them. since the illness and adopting her younger sister as her own and witnessing the passing of young foals after their dams, she has discovered she has a soft spot for foals - for whom her patience is almost endless, particularly when they're younger - and is really rather protective of them; she'd likely even stand her ground against the most fearsome stallion to keep them safe. her first priority right now is styx
history; percy lived a fairly average herd life before everything that happened the past winter, and she has since found herself a surrogate mother to her little sister after guiding her to the canyons.

personality; juno is a bright, cheerful and playful young mare. before, she spent most of her time amusing the foals so their dams could have a break. juno has always been full of sass, and as she wanders about as a current loner, is definitely unafraid to give back cheek to a stallion: it's her personal brand of flirting. while saddened at the terrible losses of the past winter, is excited for what this spring and the future may bring; her mother had had yet to have another foal since her, and was still overprotective of her, and undoubtedly would have kept her flirtatious daughter far from the eyes of any interesting colt. she can't wait until the day she is part of a herd again and is brimmed full of nervous excitement at the prospect of motherhood, though she has some worries in the back of her mind about the colts surrounding her: could any of them really know how to run a herd?
history; she was born into a medium sized herd, her aging mother's last foal before her death this past winter. before the illness struck, her life was fairly average, with the most interesting thing she could name being last spring, her yearling season, when she snuck off to tease the colts and stallions from other bands around before her mother chased her back to her herd. the survivors of her herd scattered when the humans arrived, and she has yet to come across so far, and so she assumes they were picked up.

personality; styx was always a shy one, but since the illness struck, it is a trait that has become much more forefront. the loss of most of their herd, particularly her mother, has hit her hard, and her greatest fear is losing her big sister, persephone, too; she is never far from percy's side, and will panic if she loses sight of her. since they have returned home, styx has started to become - very, very cautiously - curious of other youngsters around her age, she's missed having playmates, having never been around many other foals.
history; styx was one of the first foals born in her natal herd of the season. when the sickness struck she was the only foal to survive, her half siblings still dependent on their dams' milk. many of their herd had already passed when the humans came, including her mother. she froze at the sight of the metal boxes and was shoved, nudged and prodded into a run by her older sister, persephone, who then led her into the canyons.

Hey I don't know what happened with the last post. But I posted this passage,



Just as the grullo filly is about to trot away, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a younger filly with a rather small black foal. Now she could not have been able to breed last year but the possibility is still there. Nevertheless the foal would be in danger if the two colts decides they've had enough. Sábia trots up to the pair and let's out a soft neigh to introduce herself.

"With this amount of ridiculous public display, a brawl is inevitable between the two colts." Sábia neighed, turning towards the black foal she added. "It's best if we move along now that they're distracted with each other." The older filly nudged the foal gently with her muzzle, motioning for his sister to follow quickly.



Should we disregard this now, as esadowa had introduced herself and hercules without acknowledging this?
