@ Everyone Good evening, everyone! I don't think I've fully caught up with the Discussion Thread yet, but I did manage to fully update the allegiances (at least, to my knowledge) and post for all of my characters at least once each. Now, I'll go through some common questions and a couple of rule updates.
First, basically everyone is asking if we can progress a day yet. Since it's taking so long for the SkyPack matter to settle, I'd say that's fine. We can time skip to dawn. People were also wondering what happened to Treepup. Unfortunately, his roleplayer left. It would be fine if Fallensnow's roleplayer decided to give him to a different roleplayer, however, so he doesn't have to be dead. I was also thinking about when the next Gathering could be, and I've decided that we can have it once the new day's major events have settled down and we can time skip again.
I decided that each Pack can indeed have up to three medicine dogs. The medicine dog apprentice counts for one; if there are two medicine dogs and a medicine dog apprentice, then all medicine dog slots are full already, and, likewise, if there are three medicine dogs and no medicine dog apprentice, then there can't be a new medicine dog apprentice. The Attendance Policy will no longer be enforced for regular characters. High ranks - alphas, betas, medicine dogs, medicine dog apprentices, and prophecy members - can still be demoted after a week's absence, but they won't be killed off, and neither will any other character. The only exception is rogues and doggiepets, given that the slots for those roles are limited. Keep in mind that having a character killed off is still a valid option if you don't want to play them anymore, however. Once you are engaged in action with another character, you must respond within a week or the other roleplayer can decide what your character does. I'm not sure if this rule will stick around, but I figured it would be a nice compromise between just killing off a character and not trying to ensure posting stays consistent altogether. Essentially, it works like this: If one roleplayer's character tries to interact with another's roleplayer's character and they respond, then they are considered participants in whatever event that is. Both characters are then obligated to finish the event. There is no time limit on how long the event can take, but each participant must respond within a week's time when their character's turn comes up. If they don't, then the other roleplayer, while keeping the other's character's personality in mind, can post for them, for THAT turn, to keep the action going. Bear in mind that they wouldn't be allowed to kill off the other roleplayer's character or have them commit to anything serious, such as partnership between dogs. This obligation would end upon the event's completion. Finally, there can be rogue Packs. Basically, when three or more rogues decide to form a group, the new group can be added to the allegiances and have a member cap of 10 members. The rogue Packs are permitted to have any set of philosophies and social hierarchies they want; they don't have to be anything like the traditional Packs. There will probably be a limit on this as well, but I'm not sure what those limits are yet.
Feel free to give feedback or re-ask questions I may have missed.
