Immortal Rebel / The Cunning━━━━━━━━━━━━Constance carries herself with a bold and confident posture. She has a thin frame, almost fragile in appearance; her enhanced immortal strength not so obvious. She is 5'5 which was a quite decent height for women two hundred years ago. She was rather proud of it too, before further generations continued to grow in height averaging past that. She keeps her dark brown, nearly black hair in a bob cut, which flows in a slight wave just past her chin. Her bangs are straight and rest at her brow line. Constance's eyes are a dark, deep brown, framed by a thick set of eyelashes. She has one distinguishing feature: a beauty mark. It's a small mole above her mouth on the right side. She can mostly be found with a straight, unimpressed (or thoughtful) face, or a smirk when feeling amused. It's rather hard to read her mood based off of her expressions, as she's really bad at displaying her feelings even when she wants to. Her usual apparel consists of dark, formal and semi-formal clothing, such as collared blouses paired with a black sweater or with a somewhat modest dress. Her style hasn't changed too much over the years, not but the exception of pants, since women couldn't always wear those (and she's definitely a fan). Constance always thinks things through before acting upon them, and is never one to do something on a whim. At the same time, she usually doesn't have to think very long about something before making a decision, as quick-witted as she is. When it comes to the area of math, literature, science, history, etc., Constance feels most in her element. She loves making strategies and making plans, seeing how one thing affects another, even if it's just scenarios playing out in her head. She believes one reason she hasn't gone crazy over all these years is because there is always something new to learn and study. She finds it easy to act simply and confidently on logic, keeping her emotions in check. Regarding emotions, Constance has never been one to share. She's practically had over two hundred years to practice keeping things at bay and repressing how she feels. Not the healthiest thing to do, she knows, but nevertheless. And despite her vast knowledge, emotions are one thing she just can't wrap her head around. "There's just no logic to it." As lonely as it makes her feel, she'll never admit it, not even to herself. She does have a moral compass of course, despite seeming cold. That's the reason she helped seal the ancestors away in the first place. She knew what they were doing just wasn't right, and she knew what her and the other rebels needed to do. Sure, she had been close to some of the witches and wizards who they trapped away, but their corruption drove her away from them.
At first, after sealing the ancestors away in the tomb, everything seemed fine. She felt a sense of pride and accomplishment, only imaging how much safer the future of the world would now be. Many of the other rebels felt the same way, however some of them seemed struck with grief as time set on. Constance just couldn't understand. The plan worked, everything went as well as it could have, just as she had thought it would. But here they were, so unhappy. She couldn't understand what their loss felt like, and something about that saddened her, maybe even scared her? Of course she didn't let anyone know that, as stubborn as she was, and still is. To her, the group succeeded and that was all that mattered. Without too much time passing, she parted ways with the rest, only slightly keeping in touch. It took her a couple years to find out about her curse though, the curse of immortality... It was one day, spent with one of few friends she managed to make in her new town, that there was a terrible accident. The building was burning down, and they were surrounded before they even had a chance... Everyone in that building died but her, of course. She woke up, the building all but left as heaps of ashes. That was the first time in a very, very long time Constance cried. She wept like she she never thought she could have. Till this day that memory still brings shivers and many, many dark thoughts. You might even say she has somewhat of a fear of fire now, but that's irrelevant right? Since that awful moment, her goal in life has been to figure out how to die, to rid herself of this hellish life, but to live life to the fullest while doing so. Almost ironic, you could say. She travels often, learning as much as she can and seeing as much of the world as possible. She has gave herself a lavish lifestyle, finding ways to get what she wants quite easily. Something recent has somewhat put a halt to this current lifestyle, though. As the other rebels now know, she has learned as well, the key to breaking their immortality. Finally, an answer which she long ago lost hope for. Now her new goal is to somehow get the ancestors break their curse, and she's determined to find a way.
