ballet is a young mare who came from a racing farm. she hadn't done as well as her owners had hoped, hence her reason behind escaping. despite her underperformance, she loves to run. she may not be the fastest, but she was bred to run. her unique coloring is due to a genetic mutation a few generations back. ballet isn't a shy horse and is quite naive. she believes that all horses and people are inherently good. at least, she thought that about people up until she and left to felt forced to escape and be left her own defenses. despite this, she is a quick learner and a tough cookie. she wants to survive and will fight to do so, even if she is scared out of her wits at being alone. she doesn't have anyone to socialize with, and that just might be scarier than death itself. out on her own, ballet hopes that she can outrun her problems. she was bred to run, wasn't she?

chasse is quite cold. she doesn't care for others feelings and can be quite blunt. she
has no filter between her mind and her mouth. she especially doesn't care for an
emotional connection with anyone and has always had a hard time fitting in. she
typically shuns anyone aside from family and by family, she means literal bloodline
family. underneath this exterior is the kindhearted mare who has the capabilities
of being a mother, if she desired to be one. chasse is very dominating. she doesn't
enjoy being anything less than the lead mare in the herd. even if she continuously
loses the fights for dominance in the herd, she will do so until she achieves it,
even though it has cost her to be driven from several herds before.
