Damien Lovatt| 33 | Male | Head of Cardiology

Appearance: Damien has dark brown, short hair that looks a little mussed-up, and his eyes are a greyish-blue colour. He stands at 6'2'', and has a somewhat surprisingly muscular build. He has a decent posture, and while he doesn't always seem it, he is professional.

Personality: Despite his job, Damien tends to be rather enthusiastic and optimistic. He is warm and friendly to patients, and has quite the affinity for putting them at ease. However, as per the rules, he does not make any promises that he cannot guarantee he'll be able to keep. He does take his job very seriously, and is usually accepting extra shifts if he is needed. He takes following the rules seriously as well, and will reprimand anyone who does not follow them (in private, of course), and will highlight the importance of the rules. Damien does sometimes get burned out, but he keeps this hidden, and tries on his own to recover, rather than seek support from someone else. Overall, though, he is very capable, experienced and esteemed doctor.

Short Bio: Damien hasn't always wanted to be a doctor. Originally, he wanted to be an actor, and then a F1 driver. At the age of 14, his older brother collapsed while the siblings were home alone. Since he had a class about CPR and first aid just a few days ago, Damien used CPR to help his brother, then called for paramedics - and was told that he saved his brother's life by being so calm and acting quickly. From there, he was set on what he wanted his career to be.
He ended up graduated med school with excellent grades, and specialised in cardiology, and he worked his way up to becoming head of the department. His reputation precedes him around the hospital.

Rafael Karim | 25 | Male | Resident, Anesthesiology

Appearance: He has black hair that is very soft, and slightly wavy, kept short at the sides, though longer on top, and his eyes are deep brown, almost black. He stands at about 5'11'', and has an athletic build. The faded remnants of a scar mark the back of his left hand, and he has a good, slightly relaxed posture but isn't slouchy.

Personality: Friendly and kind, Rafael is a very gentle person that works hard to constantly prove his capability and talents for his job. He strives to one day be made head of anesthesiology, hence why he works hard for recognition. He is known to work well under pressure, and can stay astonishingly calm in a crisis. However, he does tend to get jealous towards those that receive more praise and recognition than he does, and will be rather passive-aggressive towards them. He does get a little embarrassed when he's the centre of the attention, though, but does take pride in it - yet doesn't let it get to his head. Rafael does also tend to keep himself to himself outside of working, and refuses to talk about patients with others.

Short Bio: Born in Lebanon, Rafael grew up in a family of doctors, with his parents working as doctors, his mother in gastronomy, and his father in cardiology. He never felt pressured to follow the same sort of career path, and has a genuine love and interest for anesthesiology.
His family moved to America when he was 12, and he is fluent in Arabic, English, Armenian and French - in that order. He went to medical school to study, and graduated with quite good grades. He is in his third year of residency at Grey Sloan Memorial hospital, which both of his parents are incredibly proud of (they both work in a different hospital, so there's no risk nepotism, unintentional or otherwise).

argaery eloise, preferably maggie or dr. eloise to her peers and patients is the female head of neurosurgery at grey sloan memorial. she is twenty-nine years of age and has lived in washington state all of her life. growing up she studied engineering throughout high school as well as being a competitive dancer. margaery loves to be the center of attention, laughing and entertaining in any way she sees fit. she would rather get things done by "brute force," through it not around it. maggie is known for leaping before she looks and fixing her mistakes as they come and go rather than sitting idle and preparing contingencies and escape clauses. maggie craves adrenaline, being the poster child for the lifestyle of risky behavior. she lives in the moment and dives into the action - always at the eye of the storm. it has not been proven yet, but it is rumored margaery lacks a moral compass. in her eyes, rules were made for her to break them. she lacks any judgment of the consequences her actions might cause, only thinking about which path is the easiest to her goal. even with her lack of better judgment, margaery is quite a force to be reckoned with. she is stubborn, and she is headstrong. her small amount of patience is sure to explode on them. her lack of patience is one of her biggest faults, for her temper is what gets her in trouble most days. she cannot keep a partner to save her life. she's never been the one night kinda gal either. oh, how she does flirt though! her personality when dealing with patients is completely different than when dealing with peers. she is kind, calculated in her actions, and patient. she handles every surgery with precision and grace. she is thorough when dealing with patients. her personality does a one-eighty when sheenters a patient's room.
