bio fernpaw is a quiet, well-mannered but easily irritated shecat. she's blunt, honest, and pessimistic, and you definitely don't want to be on her bad side. while she's extremely intelligent, motivated, and driven; she's also short-tempered, blunt, and misunderstood. she has no interest in making friends, finding a mate, or anything like that. instead, her main focus is doing the best she can at becoming a medicine cat. she feels as if it's her purpose. fernpaw seems emotionless and cold, as well as very distant. she gets it from her father, who was never present in her life. however, the two of them are extremely similar. she was born to a warrior and a rogue, a couple that were more infatuated in each other than in love. fernpaw was their only kit, the result of a mistake they both made. she pretends not to be bothered by her father's lack of presence in her life, but deep down she's searching for approval. her self esteem is very low, and when she's insecure, she either cuts everyone off, or lashes out.

bio onyx is a dangerous tom. he rarely feels emotions, but he fakes it often to get himself advantages. he's manipulative, calculating, and cold. he's flirtatious, charismatic, and extremely charming, so no one suspects that dark side of his. he's known for being a ladies' man. onyx doesn't 'need' anyone. he doesn't do commitment and he's a player, but shecats fall for him nonetheless. there's only one cat he truly cares about, and that's his daughter, fernpaw. she was the result of a failed relationship with a stormclan shecat, and when he found out about his daughter, he watched her grow from the shadows, afraid to step into her life. she seemed to be doing fine without him, so he didn't want to complicate the situation. still, the fatherly instinct drew him to her time and time again. he memorized her herb collecting routes and he always watched her, hidden in the brush, to make sure she was safe. onyx is extremely protective of her even though she doesn't know about him, and he hopes to become part of her life eventually, before he regrets it.
description onyx is a huge, fluffy tom with jet black fur. the tips are slightly faded grey, giving him a smokey look. he has haunting, light greenish-yellow eyes. he's very muscular and intimidating, and he typically sneaks around at night, camouflaged in the shadows by his black fur.

hunting but is the worst cat when it comes
to fighting. since her mate died, she
has blocked off her feelings and is trying to
become a good mother before her kits
arrive.
