sammy rosier was a lucky child. most of the children born on october first were not
greeted with open arms like sammy was. her parents were unable to conceive, so when sammy
came along they were thrilled. as she grew older, she showed she was much different than any
other child her age. she grew faster than that of other children and had a extremely high met
abolism. her parents had known she was different from the day her mother became bloated
with pregnancy out of the blue, so they didn't mind their child's quirkiness. her powers didn't
fully show until she was eleven when she dropped her pencil during school. it was a nasty sh
ock to her parents, who decided homeschooling from then on out would be safer for her.

carefree and laid back. he wasn't a try-hard like most of his siblings and just wanted to have fun. his siblings
knew him for playing pranks like turning into a chair or playing themselves when they were gone. it was all
in good fun, of course, but most of them didn't see it that way. his adopted mother, for example, thought t
he boy's antics were just plain annoying and would always influence the boy to stop; though harsher means

Octavia can summon darkness and manipulate its
shape at will, and can use it in combat to attack
or tether opponents, as well as use it as a shield.

Often referred to as The Shadow, Octavia Van Stryker is a ta
lented assassin and member of the rain with the ability to m
anipulate darkness and shadows. Octavia was born to a cou
ple in France who had recently gone into debt, and in attem
pts to get back on their feet gave Octavia to Charlotte Van S
tryker in exchange for money. Growing up Octavia was part
icularly independent, and was trained in various forms of ad
vanced combat and constantly pushed to go past her limits.
As she got older, she began to take jobs as a hitman, and be
gan to gain a reputation for herself. She would constantly be
away from the rain in pursuit of her job, sometimes for mont
hs on end, and each time would return more closed off, beco
ming irascible and cutthroat. Octavia continues to do this, y
et always finds her way back to the rain. Octavia is rather se
cretive, often seen as very independent and harsh. She isn’t
someone to follow a leader, and can be seen as headstrong a
nd stubborn due to this. Octavia possesses a silver tongue, a
nd can become manipulative when necessary to get what she
wants. She has no problem deceiving others to get her way, a
nd is quite intelligent. Sarcastic and witty, this blunt assassin
doesn’t let anyone walk over her, and can become reactive r
ather fast. Despite this, Octavia can be charming and vivaci
ous when she’s relaxed, & will defend those she loves with h
er life. However, there is still a part of her that is constantly
urging her to push herself further, and wishes for a childhood
that was normal & resents the one that she was forced into.

Elliott is a very level-headed, independent, and strong-willed man. Though, he is rather flirtatious, especially around other guys. He’s also very likeable, and kind as well, who’d die for the ones he loves and cares about. When you first meet him, he seems like a very outgoing person when in reality it’s the opposite. He’s actually very quiet and easygoing, with a sarcastic sense of humor that shows only when he’s around someone he’s very comfortable with.
