effie is a three year old wolfdog
with a large and muscular build,
but scrawny in parts like the legs.
she's an unaltered female with
an interest in life's capabilities.
she loves her pack dearly,always
making sure she can be there
for them, unlike the pack she was
apart of beforehand, which would
favor the males and the rare
female wolfdogs. the others would
be forced to hunt at the youngest
age, and this is why she left the
pack. she has a really short
temper, however, in most
situations because of the
previous standards and
conditions. she often gets
lost as well due to her lack
of knowledge about the city,
and her voice that sounds like
a softcry from the wind betrays
her often. effie is quite restless
sometimes, and whenever
someone picks a fight with her
she struggles to calm down
afterwards, and prefers to stay
alone in those times even as
alpha. because of this she finds
she doesn't want to
have a mate, or anything close to it.

effie was, as mentioned, born in an unfair pack way from the city. she was forced to treat the males and rare females ever since she could walk and as soon as she was big enough to take down a hare she was forced to hunt with the scrawny wolfdogs who were forced onto the trip. she found is disgusting, because as well they would get rid of the oldest males and female common wolfdogs. she left as soon as she was two, heading for the city in her lost mother's stories. following the pawsteps and twists and turns. eventually, she gave up, as she felt weak and ill from the winter, until two canines found her, and dragged her to the pack known as the bardo pack. there, she was raised in a fair pack, until she became the alpha.

belinda was born on september 4th, thus in the beginning of fall, when the trees leaves were just starting
to change from green to shades of brown, yellow, & orange. her mother was a hunter named alana, & she
was known for being an incredibly sadistic huntress, making her prey feel pain. belinda's father however was
a different story; her mother never named who he was, & no one in the pack came forward as her father.
rumor has it she was either fathered by a passing loner/rogue, or someone who cheated on their mate &
didnt want to ruin their relationship. belinda was one month old, beginning to eat meat instead of nursing,
when her mother abandoned her & the pack, never seen again. the pack never found out who her father is.
she had to grow up fast because of this, but luckily enough was taken in by the former healer, a grumpy old
brute named otis, who both raised & trained her.

belinda is always paying attention to the smallest details, something that makes her good at noticing injury
or sickness before it takes full form in her packmates. her deep sense of humanity make her careful &
she has a very methodical approach to both healing & life in general. she likes to ensure that nothing is
left to chance, & although she can be empathetic & tender, her heart is rather closed in regard to finding
love or even close friends she trusts with her secrets. she tries to always see the good in other creatures,
which can be a major source of disappointment at times. belinda tends to be quite soft-spoken & gentle,
& if you hear her voice raised, you know its something serious & she's frustrated you arent listening to her.

brutus is very much a gentle giant. he has always been one of the largest dogs around,
towering over just about everyone else at any given point, but he is not mean or aggressive. he
is truly a sweetheart, and once he cares for someone, he is loyal to them to his dying breath. he
is strong, and while he prefers to resolve issues peacefully, he will defend his pack if he needs to,
and is not afraid to get his paws dirty by fighting or helping others. he tends to be the "voice of
reason" and many dogs come to him to help resolve their disputes calmly.

brutus had a good life. when he was born, he was sold to his family for a very expensive price,
due to his rare coat color combination, meaning that his humans were quite wealthy. they
wanted for nothing, for themselves or for him, and brutus was very content and happy in his
early adulthood. his people had two children, twin girls lily and rose, and they were his everything.
he very much was their protector, their defender, and their playmate. the family would go camping
every weekend, take him and the girls to the park to play and have picnics multiple times a week.
all in all, life was good. but then the husband got a job offer across the country, and when they
looked into housing in the new city, they couldnt find a place willing to let them take their large
canine. so he was dumped on the street, and he was alone for nearly a year before the war broke
out and he met nirvana. the two of them created the pack from the ground up.

ada doesnt know how to be a mother, & really just isnt the best at it. now, to be fair, she also hasn't put alot
of effort into it; as soon as orion could eat food, she cut him off from nursing. ada has always been about
taking care of herself first, not allowing anyone to worm into her heart because that moment of weakness
will cost her dearly. ada is known as one of the most devious dogs out there; her pretty face & melodic voice
could convince a skeleton of a dog to give her the meal that would save their life.

ada was a show dog, conformation shows that is. she was a champion in her own right, having won
quite the handful of titles in her life; she was a bit arrogant about it. she lived with her owner/handler,
an older woman named joyce, who she loved dearly. unfortunately, joyce was older & forgetful. one night,
she left the stovetop on; the house caught fire, & she ended up dying in her bed during the night. ada had
awoken to the flames, & raced to her owners side only to find it was too late. it took everything in her to leave
joyce behind, but she knew the human would have wanted her to survive. she took to the streets, & quickly
morphed from a preppy show dog to a sassy street-hound who used her pretty look to trick anyone out of
anything to keep herself going. however, she got too close to the wrong brute, who was more devious than
she was, & she wound up pregnant and alone. she quickly joined the bardo pack for safety, giving up her loner way.

orion is a more quiet & reserved pup, compared to others, who prefers to keep to himself
rather than go out of his way to talk to others. he's not antisocial or even grumpy, he just feels
uncomfortable when too many dogs are paying attention to him at one time. he's actually a very
intelligent & dependable pup; he's the perfect fit for the stereotype of "had to grow up too fast".

orion was born onto the streets, into this hard life, & so he has never known the pampering that his
mother once did. he has no clue who his father is; his mother refuses to tell orion anything about the
brute. orion is constantly on edge, easily described as always being anxious/nervous. he is a complete
perfectionist & is striving constantly to get praise from his mother. he just wants her to notice him, to
feel like he has proven his worth & made her proud of him.
