Eh.. looking at the Maine Coon, I think I've decided that it would be best to limit this roleplay to housecat breeds/mixed domestic cats. Sorry. I've decided this because cats that big would violate the rule of "unrealistic abilities".
It's no problem, happy to help a little too.
Some uh catbreeds though claim to be bobcat x domestic...
or have some bobcat somewhere in genetics.
might be worth googling to try finding images to show any cats breeds/species/hybrids' actual size.
Maine Coons and Ragdolls are actually quite similar in size, Maine Coons can, the key word is 'can', grow to be up to 2m in length (tail not included). But usually they grow around 1m in length (tail also not included). A Ragdoll is around 1.22-30m. Giving them a small comparison in size. Then on top of that there are Norwegian Forrest Cats which is also 1.22-30m in length. Putting it in the same category as a Maine Coon, and a Ragdoll.
A Eurasian lynx can be between 55-75cm in height and 80 – 130 cm in length. So it is similar to the domesticated mentioned above, but the island in Japan is only full of domestic ferals, with the case of few odd cats being pure bread, because they got imported in to the island.
The smallest cat breed would be Munchkin cats, but you wouldn't see them as outdoor cats due to their short legs they would have trouble fending themselves off. On the other hand, Munchkin cats are genetically mutated cats, that cause their legs to go short and they only can be born very rarely by natural causes or by being bred with another cat that isn't a munchkin and will only, lets say 1 out of 4 kittens will have the gene.
Here are the different cat sizes. Ragdoll, Maine Coon, Norwegian Forest Cat

Another thing to take in to consideration are the myths and legends, a cat would be considered supernatural if it stood on its hind legs and looked up at a lantern, in the old days the lantern out was made out of fish oil, and because the cats used to be hungry and want the oil, they would be considered as witches familiars or a demon.
Also, there is a high population of cats with little bob tails, it used to be believed that when a cat reached a certain age (12 -14 years sometimes younger), they would grow a second tail and kill it's owner, so when a cat reached a certain age they would get their tails chopped off due to this legend. Another reason for the tail cutting would be so the cats wouldn't become a Nekomata/Bakeneko, a demon cat that would put a cloth/tissue on it's head and dance to entertain the people.
Edit: Caracals and Bengals can also grow up to 1m in length. Whereas a domestic cat would be around 50cm in length.
