Aries is a college student at the community college in town. He lives in an apartment on the outskirts of town, with only a cat to keep him company. He has plenty of plants, preferring to keep company with those (and heal them when his cat goes after them!). He’s aware of the monster problem, and would prefer to stay out of it. He believes it hypocritical of himself to believe they stay in the dark, because can’t they retain their humanity? Didn’t people tell him they wished he’d stay in the dark? They’re still partly human, and deserve to be treated like humans. Feral monsters are the problem, he knows.
He can often be found hanging around the local “witch store,” as he calls it, or the college library. He likes to keep to himself. He tends to be uncertain and can be standoffish because of it, though once you get to know him he can be sarcastic and playful, often tossing out puns and bad jokes.
As far as history goes, Aries has been on his own since the moment he turned 18. His parents weren’t accepting of him and ignored his wishes to be who he really was. He grew up isolated from his family and struggles with trust issues and forming bonds. He’s putting himself through college in hopes that he can make a better life for himself and hopefully one day a family.
