Jack is very irritable and cold (haha no pun intended), he can get snappy without meaning it and is kind of a grump. It takes a patient and kind enough person to get through Jack’s cold exterior.
Short Bio:Jack has bounced from foster homes his whole life, never getting to grow in one spot or make real friends. As Jack grew, so did his emotions, and it ultimately unlocked and amplified his gift. The potential of hurting anyone around him was something Jack kept in the back of his mind as he grew up, and he dumbly decided to harbor his hatred.

Eden began to drift apart from her family as she grew older and it became harder to conceal her power from public eye, though she was hidden for the most part when the government came, she took the chance to leave from her estranged parents without looking back.

- elle was born the middle child of five on a rural farm. she had two older brothers, one younger sister, and a baby brother. while her only sister and younger brother didn't work much on the farm, she and her older brothers did and she grew up climbing trees and jumping fences. she often came home with leaves in her hair, dirt streaking her face, and a beaming smile. and, of course, she also got into trouble. she often snuck small treats from convenience stores and fruit off neighbors' trees. the first time she used her abilities was when she witnessed three kids give her sister a rough time, teasing her clothes and hair. she was still young at the time, eleven or so, and her temper got the better of her. as she snapped at them to stop, she accidentally focused the surrounding light too intensely on the offenders and accidentally set things near them into patches of flame. one of them even got fire on the hem of his shirt, though he fortunately didn't get burned. this realization terrified her and she began to spend more time away in the surrounding forest, practicing her abilities. only recently, in her late teenage years and early twenties, did she discover that manipulating light allowed her invisibility. as a result, she doesn't have much practice in it. other incidents happened- she accidentally set an old shack on fire, sometimes a pile of leaves or such- but they grew fewer as she matured. unfortunately, she wasn't as hidden as she thought and was taken by a mysterious government van while repairing their barn. as hard as she struggled, they managed to blindfold and tie her up, taking her somewhere she doesn't know exists.

elle is rather fond of nicholas. she finds him calming to be around and a nice break amongst the angsty chaos of her fellow gifted. she finds his ability interesting and amusing, and often refers to him as gandalf or dumbledore. she likes that he doesn't hold grudges and forgives easily, although she does try to be careful around him as he's an older advisor. she respects him, but would also like to be a friend

elle mainly likes rin, although she isn't extremely close to her. she likes her knowledge about hand-to-hand combat and wants to learn more self-defense from the agent. however, it does irritate her that rin doesn't seem to take her ability seriously. it feels unfair that she would have to work harder to prove herself just because she doesn't see any potential in an ability. other than that, she respects her as an agent

elle doesn't know much about maverick, which intrigues her. she isn't sure about his history and finds his ability both unnerving and interesting. still, she likes his mischevious personality and enjoys having a little break between the seriousness and aggression. she respects him as an advisor and someone much more experienced in abilities than her, and hopes to hone in her skills with his assistance and watch

elle is quite fond of niamh. she's a friendly face in a sea of strangers, and is practically the sweetest person there. elle finds her quite different than the other gifted and enjoys the break she gives in the aggressive and stressful environment. she does feel a little cautious around her, fearful of feeling fake emotions whether or not niamh had good intentions, but doesn't let it control her. the two could become very close friends

elle isn't very close with apollo. she finds them to be too aggressive and trigger-happy. they give off a chaotic feeling that elle doesn't necessarily want in this new and stressful environment. she isn't too fond of their short and explosive temper and would rather have them calm down. she didn't exactly get the best first impression of apollo either, and that feeling of uncertain caution never left

elle, although she hates to admit it, likes artemis more than apollo. she feels more comfortable around the laid-back boy and doesn't feel nearly as cautious around him. she finds it a fun coincidence that he manipulates shadow while she manipulates light. she doesn't mind his shyness and aims to befriend him. she isn't a fan of his manipulative behaviors but finds it cute- in a friend way- that he gets so easily flustered

elle doesn't know autumn very well and, although she doesn't fear her as a person, doesn't like her power. she hates the thought of someone else using her ability and, as a result, tends to physically avoid her. she does have a love for outdoors in common and wouldn't mind running in the forest with her. she likes her personality, and would have fun doing small tricks. the two could become mischevious friends if elle grew to trust autumn enough not to use her abilities against her will

elle simply dislikes sen. she doesn't like their selfish nature and doesn't trust them whatsoever. she avoids sen as much as possible, and feels rather unnerved by them. thinking about their high-pitched whistles makes her wince and she keeps a wide distance from them. she also dislikes their tendency to do whatever is necessary to get what they want. she views it as immature and cowardly, although she would never say that to their face. she tends to avoid confrontation with them, or any interaction really

elle doesn't know azrael very personally and respects her as a very determined agent. she recognizes and admires her persistence when she's given a task, aware of how difficult complete and utter focus can be. she finds her toughness and desire for perfection intimidating and difficult to achieve, but she's willing to try and improve herself. she recognizes that all of the agents had difficult, hardened pasts and tries not to push them because of that

- maverick has become extremely familiar with his ability. he loves to tease people, especially strangers on the street, by making them see things they couldn't ever possibly see such as a polar bear painting its nails in a barber shop. he feels no remorse about playing with others' senses and enjoys seeing their confusion. though not necessarily malicious, he isn't exactly empathetic either and doesn't go out of his way to help others. he became an advisor simply because he didn't want rogue superhumans with no control running around. he enjoys dry humor, but doesn't tolerate disrespect. he could be called prideful because of this, but he frankly couldn't care less. this trickster knows when to focus and easily concentrates on the task at hand. with this focus and his ability combined, he's ruthless against enemies. he's not easily swayed or bought; some consider this loyalty, but he's simply resilient. he carefully controls his expressions and tone with eery skill and hates showing vulnerability of any shade. he has no interest in forming friendships and would much rather establish allies in case he ever got into a tricky situation. still, if he ever does begin to care for someone, he becomes extremely loyal and would quite literally do anything for them. he has a keen memory that comes in handy when matching name to face to ability. with a velvet smooth voice and a naturally charismatic aura, he doesn't drive people away and has found himself as an advisor because of this.

- maverick was born to a finicky family. his mother had disappeared early in his childhood to pursue a richer lover and he was left living with his father and older sister in a run-down apartment. they hardly scraped by; his father performed on the streets and soon dragged his son into the business for more money. this proved to be the best choice possible as maverick became an instant hit. with his magician tricks that couldn't be explained, he was racking in cash. even his father didn't know exactly how his son performed. maverick grew up with his acts and figured out around age six that he was different. he practiced day and night, skipping sleep and scrappy meals sometimes because he wouldn't budge. by his late teenage years, it was perfected. often, he used them to stir up mischevious trouble and bring in money. somehow, he was able to rack up enough money and attention to earn himself a government job, which both thrilled and annoyed his father to no end. eventually he was sent to the base camp, where he fit in perfectly.

Short Bio: Apollo’s power started out as unotciable, she herself didn’t fully know she had it. As she grew older, she learned to use her power, as well as hide it. Her twin, who has shadow manipulation, balanced her out. He was calm and collected. So when Apollo got kicked out for being gender fluid, he came along. Apollo became even more aggressive, and their power became violent, the learned to wield Fire into weapons, and starting creating a name for themselves as a villain. Thus why she ended up here.
