Question, in Breath of the Wild, does the Calamity refer to the events leading up to Link's slumber, or when Calamity Ganon broke free of Zelda's seal?

I'll reply again once there are more people of whom my characters interact with. (So waiting on mainly Rusty & Zel--Inky too but Ink is waiting on people too lol)

My availability is evenings. I leave for work (carpool with mom --drive is 1hr so saves gas money-- so leave earlier and nap in the "nap room" at my job) at my 4:50-5:10am and don't get home until 4:30-5pm. So I am gone for 12hrs a weekday and effort for replying depends on my energy after the long day. I'm more often to get online on non-busy weekend days.

From playing the whole game numerous times, I got that the time of the Calamity was during the time before Link died. I think the time he was sealed while Link was sleeping is more a post apocalyptic situation.

@Ani: Yeah, I looked it up on the Zelda wiki, the First Great Calamity is when Calamity Ganon first surfaced, 10,100 years before the events of the game, and the Second Great Calamity are the events that led to Zelda sealing Calamity Ganon away and Link being in his slumber. Should I call his third revival and defeat the Third Great Calamity?
