➳abilities / powers; blue is able to switch between his humanoid and squid forms at freewill though his squid form doesn't move all too well on land but it moves far faster in ink. by submerging himself in his own ink he can refill his weapon and quickly create ink bombs with little to no effort required
➳weapons; blue carries what is known to inklings as the hero shot which allows him to quickly shoot ink. in his world such would be used in a competitive nature to could "splat" those on opposing teams. his other weapons include burst bombs that he can quickly make while in his own ink. these allow him to cause explosions of ink and cover more ground for him to maneuver through. he also has a special known as splashdown. when he has enough ink stored and can jump high enough, he can slam down to the ground and cause a burst of ink around him. this is his most powerful attack and can cause some damage given its knock back and sheer power

➳personality; blue is a determined individual with a lot of drive to him. he has a never give up attitude and tends to push himself to his limits far too often. he is brave and reckless often getting himself into trouble or stuck in bad situations. sometimes he doesn't think before he acts and needs someone to get him out of it. he isn't the most strategical thinker and relies heavily on his quickness to get him out of sticky situations when needed. he really hates asking for help if he can avoid it and has a real stubbornness to him though he is very grateful to those who do step in. it just might take him some time to warm up to such an idea. blue naturally has a heroic view on things and can be overly optimistic when he feels like it. he tends to be a bit secretive especially when it comes to personal things or anything to do with his position as agent 3. though he may be a bit much to handle and seems like he is all about action, blue is quite the jokester and loves to laugh. some say he's a bit immature but he loves to have as much fun as possible even in dire situations

➳history; blue was born within inkopolis' city limits and raised there too. his life was rather normal; he went to school, he watched the various types of battles that occurred, he tried to be as fresh as possible and many other things that all the other inklings did as well. like most others, when he came of age he took up becoming part of a team and joining the various types of matches in his free time however he would eventually have a run in with captain cuttlefish that would change his life. the old man would recruit him to join his cause against the octarians and dubbed him as agent 3 in the squidbeak splatoon. he wasn't sure what to expect, but he was deployed in the octarians home with the mission to save the great zapfish and return it to inkopolis. fighting his way through and nearly dying along the way, blue was able to defeat dj octavio and take back the city's power source. though he was a hero, he did not take credit for it and stayed hidden as agent 3. instead he returned to his quiet lifestyle while staying on call if cuttlefish ever needed him again

➳personality; chiaki normally has a quiet and sleepy disposition, but she becomes a lot more lively when discussing games and concentrates hard when playing. she has a number of unusual habits, such as dozing off while playing games and taking long pauses during her conversations to think about everything she wants to say. she sometimes even sleeps while standing and forgets to breathe when she's playing games. she also quite often uses gaming terms and references. chiaki is very calm and she once mentioned that she has never screamed. she can be stern and bluntly honest, even at times forgetting to take other people's feelings into consideration. while chiaki is extremely observant and analytical, she lacks knowledge on a variety of ordinary subjects due to the nature of her existence. she doesn't really understand how romance or love works, is very curious about it. she also feels a bit uncomfortable around animals, because they're unpredictable and feel warm when touched, which is "a bit scary" in her opinion. she is occasionally a bit playful and tries to make jokes or play little pranks, though they're a bit weird and sometimes borderline creepy. chiaki usually ends her sentences with a negative note even though she actually means to compliment someone or cheering someone, such as "...i think", or "maybe..." she dislikes killing more than anything and she gets very serious about the topic.

➳abilities / powers; arthur has a high degree of strength in his youth as shown by being able to pull the sword excalibur from its stone with ease. while arthur himself does not know the limits of his own power, it is said that holding and using the legendary sword allows him to access its full potential. when wielding excalibur, arthur is empowered by the souls of all the master swordsmen who previously wielded the holy sword, and as a result he possesses full knowledge of different swordsmanship styles from the previous wielders of excalibur and can use them with masterful ease. arthur also gains a massive increase in speed and strength when wielding the sword. he also is said to have a lack of presence which allows him to sneak up on demons and kill them without ever being caught
➳weapons; arthur wields the sword know as excalibur which is a divine sword created by humans. it is imbued and empowered with the souls of the master swordsmen from all throughout britannia who have wielded it in past millennia. it is a sign of him beginning king of camelot since he was the only one that was able to pull it from its stone. if this sword is broken it has the ability to repair itself thus making it impossible to destroy it

➳personality; arthur is a polite young man that is still adjusting to fitting to his role as king. he is quite serious and takes his responsibilities seriously. he always feels that he must think of his people and keep them safe in whatever ways he can. that is why he fights on the front lines believing that it is the best way he can assure their safety. he does not mind risking his own life though he understand that as a king he must sometimes think of his own life because without him his people would be left defenseless. nevertheless, arthur albeit serious tends to wear a smile on his face and has a happy-go-lucky demeanor. despite this, it would be wrong to consider him as immature or oblivious. he is quite aware of things that are happening around him and tends to try ignore them unless they do become a major problem and needs to be taken care of. it is also noted that arthur is quite forgiving and even is willing to forgive those that were once against him. this attests to his kindhearted nature. such an act could be dangerous to him, but he thinks that people should be given second chances and that they can change given time. arthur is also a respectful king and is willing to listen to other people's opinions. overall, he is a young king still learning his way as a ruler but is still kind and protective of his kingdom.

➳abilities / powers; most of pit's abilities are granted to him by lady palutena and for that reason when he is unable to communicate with her, he is without them. however, he does have heighten durability to make up for his lack of actual powers and abilities. he also has proven that he has great leadership abilities and even though he is a bit dependent on palutena he is capable of creating his own plans and strategies. it should be noted that even though he is an angel, he does not have the capability to fly without palutena. his wings are mostly for show when he is unable to communicate with her. without her he is more human-like than angel. since he will be unable to contact palutena in this place, he will be without his abilities
➳weapons; despite being a flightless angel, pit is still a skilled and versatile fighter. his main weapon is known as palutena's bow and was given to him by the goddess herself. the bow is able to break apart and become two blades that he can use to fight with at close range. for long range he can use the bow normally and it is able to create its own arrows. the arrows themselves are made out of light since palutena is the goddess of light. if given the chance, pit is also skilled with various other weapons such as cannons, claws and various types of blades. however, he does not carry any of these things on him

➳personality; pit is peppy and chipper as well as fearless and heroic. he has no problem fighting against monsters many times his size and is always ready to help the humans when they are in need. the angel has a notable humorous side and enjoys cracking jokes and bantering. pit is also very confident, which makes him bit of a show-off at times. he can, however, become a little reckless due to his gung-ho and naive personality, which causes him to get into trouble at times. nonetheless, pit is a good-hearted and friendly angel. he is described by viridi as "insufferably upbeat" and by pitto as "annoyingly cheerful." he is also shown to be moderately gullible at times and can take jokes a bit too seriously sometimes. his trust in palutena is absolute, but he is shown to be somewhat nervous on his own. without palutena to back him up, he steadily becomes quieter and quieter. he becomes very self-conscious during these times. he is trying to always prove himself and does whatever he must to do so. he has a never give up kind of attitude which can be annoying to some but he doesn't mind all the much. he tries to stay as positive as he can even when he is being bashed by others.

➳abilities / powers; Catra has catlike agility and swiftness, being able to flip, back flip, jump, and climb with much more ease than the average person. Her claws are her main weapons, and she uses them to slice at enemies or stop herself from falling off steep surfaces. She has claws in her feet as well which enhance her grip when climbing

➳personality; For as long as she can remember, Catra has longed to be free. To see the world. To know what dwells beyond the Fright Zone's borders. Her curiosity of the world, however, isn't enough to persuade her from her inclination to doing things her way. She's often late or absent to important events such as meetings and tests and elects to take the easy way out instead of putting forth actual effort. She doesn't respect authority, and even resents people who see her as weak and unworthy. She has a very controlling nature and refuses to give up when an opportunity arises. Her whole life has been dedicated to proving herself better than her former friend Adora, whom she'd previously been overshadowed by. Nevertheless, Catra is not without a heart. She cares for people, especially Adora. She was raised alongside Adora and came to compare her to that of a sister. Which is why Adora's betrayal hurts her so entirely. She trusted that her friend would return to her, would be there for her, but Adora instead abandoned her. Every time she contends with Adora she sees the friend who chose to stay with strangers over her. One of Catra's biggest flaws is that of her need to be accepted. To belong somewhere. And when Adora chooses to stay with complete strangers over her, it breaks her. It makes her believe that Adora sees her in the same light that Shadow Weaver does. As a mistake. A failure. Someone not worthy of her time. This epiphany leads Catra down a road of perdition. The longer she goes without Adora's influence, the more her dominant traits overpower her. Her need for approval. Her curiosity. Her rage at being abandoned. Her fear that she's not good enough. Her need to have things her way. They all meld into a new Catra. Someone who longs to not only be free but to be free of the chains that kept her from reaching her fullest potential. Chains that just so happened to have been Adora. She'll always love Adora, but she'll always resent her for standing in her way.

➳abilities / powers; Princess Entrapta is a technological genius and inventor who controls a host of robots. She also has prehensile hair. She is extremely smart and has the abilities and knowledge to throw the entirety of Etheria off balance. Entrapta is also able to decipher First Ones’ technology and can reprogram any robot she comes into contact with.

➳personality; Entrapta is the quirkiest out of the other princesses, seeing as she is more interested in her research rather than social interaction. Rather than creating relationships, she tends to studies them and is bothered that her peers often misunderstand her. She absolutely loves to mess with technology often rambling about it to her peers, along with her theories. She doesn't seem to quite understand some situations such as when she was captured by Catra, she often kept escaping the restraints to talk and the like, and showed no fear. She also is quite friendly and optimistic, as seen when she was captured, she actually became allies with the Horde, feeling more accepted there.

personality; Rei's personality is split between youth and maturity, being a young kitsune but extremely old by human standards. Some of her more youthful traits include her semi-rebellious streak and innocence concerning right and wrong behaviours, while her mature traits include her reserved personality and traditional values, as well as a level of insight that one only gets with age. Being a yokai, Rei lacks the morality of a human. For example, if she were to give someone a gift, where that gift came from would not bother her; even if it were stolen from someone else, she'd still give it to the person and see no issue with it. She also doesn't have an issue with using trickery or cheating. Rei is not inherently evil; she merely doesn't know that these things are wrong.
Rei has a strict rule that when one person helps another, that other person owes them and must return the favour. She makes this her policy in dealing with humans; if she helps someone, they must do her a favour, or if they help her she will owe them. This policy of hers is how she dragged Chibiterasu into helping her, as she helped him find the Guardian Sapling so he could revive it, but then she insisted he help her retrieve the Fox Rods by breaking into the Imperial Palace.(note, this is not canon, just a headcanon.)
Rei lives in third century Japan, or Nippon as she constantly refers to it, so Rei has strictly traditional tastes in dress and food(in these circumstances though, she won't be so fussy).
However, she is still fascinated with foreigners in general, especially the fact that they have hair and eyes with colours aside from the common black hair and brown eyes, hence why her hair and eye colour are ash blonde and green in human form. She will refer to them as "gaijin" or even "funny humans" when looking at their culture. Also in part due to being a yokai and thus unaware of human social norms, Rei will touch peoples' hair if she likes the colour of it.
Rei is completely and utterly terrified of dogs, even friendly ones. She's so scared of them that she will revert to fox form out of fright, then proceed to run like a bat out of hell.

items; Rei's greatest treasure is a powerful magic relic called the Fox Rods, however, Rei is far too young to use the full extent of its power, and so it only slightly enhances her abilities. For this RP, it's more of a comfort object.
abilities/powers; Aside from the ability to create elaborate illusions and shapeshift between fox and human form, Rei, as a Celestial Fox, can use an item known as the Celestial Brush, which is really just her using one of her tails to "paint" different things into existence depending on what she paints;
Power Slash; a simple line across an enemy or obstacle. This acts like a sword in theory, as it cleanly cuts whatever target it is used on.
Cherry Bomb; a circle with a line sticking out of it. This conjures up an explosive that explodes in a colourful display, like fireworks. It can be used to blow stuff up. Though it is possible to summon three at once, Rei can only summon one.
Rejuvenation; Fill in an empty space with ink, this will fix any object in an instant. It can't be used for anything else.
Bloom; A circle around a plant, such as trees or flowers. It can restore plants to full health. This can be nullified by intense evil auras.
Water Lily: Drawing a circle on the water creates a lily pad she can walk on to cross water. She can only walk on them in fox form as her human form is too heavy for the lily pad. She can make three at one time.
Waterspout; Drawing a line from a water source to an object, this controls water, as well as putting out fires and drench whatever she wants. Does not deal damage, and a water source must be present for her to use it.
Galestorm; A loop de loop or a spiral, this summons wind depending on what is drawn and in some cases what direction. This does not deal any damage. But it can give people a bad hair day.
Inferno: Like Waterspout, this allows her to control said element, only with fire. This can deal damage to enemies, but a source of fire must be present if she wants to use it.
Veil of Mist: Drawing two horizontal lines above each other, and time will be slowed for four seconds, but only for her. Rei must repeatedly draw this to constantly slow time, and it drains her energy to keep it in place.
To reference the ink mechanic in Okami, using too many skills one after the other will drain her stamina and she needs to take a break from using Brush Skills before she can use them again.
Rei is not limited to her usual form of a young girl with ash brown hair and green eyes. She can take on any kind of human form regardless of gender or age, but she rarely uses any other form than her usual one.
other; Rei has a strong Japanese accent whenever she speaks English, though her English is still extremely rough. As the Japanese language often has vowels follow consonants, Rei will still add these vowels at the end of English words that do not end in a,e,i,o,u and n. For example, she would say “kato” instead of just cat. She also cannot say the letters l, q, and v, as they simply do not exist in the traditional forms of the alphabet. She tries to compensate with traditional sounds to pronounce them.
Also, I have not been able to find gifs for the all the skills, so I will try to make up for it by describing them whenever she uses them.

➳abilities / powers; As Octolings are similar to Inklings, Otome can change her shape into a cephalopod. However, she doesn't transform into a squid. Instead, she changes into an octopus. Her ears and eyes reflect this difference, as her ears are rounded instead, and her eyes are more angular and the marks over her eyes are separated from each other. She can move at any pace on the ground in human form, however it is difficult for her move in octopus form unless she is submerged in her ink. Submerging herself in ink lets her refill her weapon and move much more quickly than she would in human form.
Otome can’t stay in water for long, as it can completely dissolve her if she stays in too long.

➳weapons; Otome's primary weapon is what is known as the Dark Tetra Dualies, two small guns that give her the ability to dodge attacks up to four times, something that no other weapon can do. However, these weapons lack in power as a result. Alongside this, Otome has auto-bombs; small bombs with little legs that let them move toward a target and self destruct to take the target with it, and a special attack known as the baller, where she becomes trapped in a little plastic ball crawling around in it like a hamster would(though she doesn't know what hamsters are) until the time she chooses to make it self destruct and deal massive damage to anything within range.

➳personality; Otome is quiet and reserved, but she is extremely driven to accomplish whatever task lies in front of her. She is a strong strategic thinker and is always thinking up one plan or another whenever she is faced with a tricky situation. Otome has a tendency to quip at times, lashing out at anyone who bothers her or talks too much. Despite her reserved nature, she is naturally curious about many things and may open up if she sees something of interest.
Otome is very fond of writing poetry, namely haiku, and this is her primary way of expressing herself and killing time when she has nothing else to do. She is a huge fan of the Squid Sisters and would splat anyone and anything to meet them, while she possesses a great deal of disdain for rap music(you listen to Captain Cuttlefish rap all the time and see how you feel about it), although Pearl is an exception. Her CQ-80 is full of music both by the Squid Sisters and Off the Hook. She's also a huge technology enthusiast and loves to take it all apart to see how it works. Otome likes to collect little bits and bobs as long as they are of any interest to her, and she will often write haiku about these objects. Her favourite bauble is the golden toothpick she wears tucked above her left ear, and she is rather fond of this.
She can’t speak fluent Inkling, and so her speech is extremely broken when she speaks it, using words in the wrong tense and situation as well as butchering sentence structures. A prime example is how she scrambles the popular phrase “boo-yah” into “yah-boo”. One has to give her points for trying though.

➳history(copied from the Splatoon Wiki since I was lazy) Agent 8 was an Octoling soldier for the Octarian army and had a change of heart when Calamari Inkantation was etched into their soul. In Octo Valley, Agent 8 encountered Cap'n Cuttlefish and Agent 3, Cap'n Cuttlefish had them attack Agent 8 and both of them battled until all three of them were attacked by "someone" and were knocked into the Deepsea Metro. Agent 8 lost their memories from injuries suffered during the fall through the ceiling and became a test subject of the metro. According to Marina, Octolings that hear the song become discontent with Octarian society and choose to strike out on their own.

They are called Agent 8 by Cap'n Cuttlefish in reference to them being identified as subject number 10,008 in the testing facility, since Agent 8 forgot their real name after losing their memory.
