Unlike the larger, stockier members of the team, Coco poses more of a light and petite build. Beneath her thick, feathery coat, is a lean and slender body, which posesses quite an ability to move quickly, with the addition of impressive dexterity. In terms of colour, Coco’s pelt doesn’t fail to boast variety. Her Chinook linage truly shows through with the colour ranges of deep and light fawn along her body, with a blackened face mask and ears. Coco’s eyes take light of a dull hazel. Her coat texture is most feathery around her ears and cheeks whilst thickening into more of a dense barrier against the cold down her chest and the remainder of her body. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••Personality:
Self-doubt and a lack of confidence are present in the lives of everyone at some point. But for Coco, her personality is seemingly driven by these two major flaws. Constantly questioning her capabilities, she finds it extremely difficult to pluck up the courage to do things alone, much to the frustration at times, of her teammates. However, don’t misjudge her. Coco has, and always will do whatever she can to satisfy the needs and requests if others. Only sometimes, she is unable to do so if under a lot of stress or patience. A calm and understanding voice usually draws her from her shell, only now, with current circumstances, that likely won’t be an option. Coco has never had to think on her feet or face the world with uncertainty. Such things can be frightening for such a young dog. Still aware of her lacking experience compared to other dogs on the team, Coco is likely to keep her head low and allow the others to think up their next move. Responsibility and dependence is not something Coco could currently shoulder, and would probably crack under stress should such important matters rely upon her alone.
Despite her young age, Coco is anything but immature. Chosen for the team due to her focus and sensibility, she is a hard worker when pulling the sled. But having never experienced a crisis, her abilities to adapt is to be unpredictable. Though probably unhelpful to the team at the moment, Coco is a gentle, loving and kind dog, with a lot of love to give. She has always been a dog to lift spirits with a kind word and plenty of reassurance. And while keeping her cool is sometimes challenging, she’ll do her very best if it means having an influence upon those around her. •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••History:
Coco’s rare and unique breed raised quite a popular demand for her litter. Bred from a linage of dedicated sled dogs, training began for Coco when she was just months old. Though smaller than her siblings, she attempted to make up for her strength by showing intense passion for what she did. She’d focus on the task at hand, and never stopped trying to impress. But Coco could never pull as much weight. Never keep up during speed runs. Never seemed to impress her musher. Nothing she did was ever enough. When the time came to leave her birth home, her confidence was already broken by the constant chidings of her siblings. Yet to her surprise, she was one of the first to be sold, noted for her incredible attention span. At this point, Coco hoped for things to be different. And they were. But as time went on and she grew to full size, she became aware she’d never be as strong or tough as her teammates, and so, self doubt began entering her state of mind once more. Coco hoped that building experience would change things, and so, kept her eyes ahead and gave everything she had. Until now. With their musher dead and practically all hope lost, Coco is practically on the verge of caving in. 𝐑 𝐞 𝐥 𝐚 𝐭 𝐢 𝐨 𝐧 𝐬 𝐡 𝐢 𝐩 𝐬

Rosebud / ✩ /
Rosebud is one of few dogs that Coco can look at and see as a friend. She’s a dog that brings joy and fun into Coco’s life, and whilst around her, she can’t help but feel self-assured when in the company of such a confident dog. However, Rosebud’s nature to judge can distance Coco slightly, perhaps causing her to feel unwanted, although this is usually all in her head. But overall, Coco sees Rosebud as a dog she can rely on, talk to, and perhaps even improve her relationship with.
Malcolm / ✓ /
For as long as Malcolm has been the lead dog, Coco has put every ounce of faith and trust into his leadership. She respects him like no other, and being as quiet as she is, has never questioned his authority or choices. Though intimidated by his impatience, she is wholly loyal to him, and likely to follow him, should there be a divide in the group. She is a listening ear, and is always honoured to confide in the lead dog.
Olivia / ➢ /
Coco doesn’t know a great deal about Olivia’s past, and this has made her all but curious to find out more. However, having never plucked up the courage to speak very much with Olivia, the dog’s story still remains a mystery to her, and to avoid prying, she doesn’t plan on asking any questions anytime soon. Coco has always admired the pronounced dedication Olivia had their musher, seemingly far more respectful than anyone else on the team. Coco feels she can trust Olivia, and doesn’t mind the company of this dog at all.
Bear / ✩ /
Coco has gotten to known Bear and finds his presence comforting. She appreciates the fact that he has her back, Is is reassured knowing she can go right to him for help at any time. She sees him almost as a brother figure in her life and looks to him for guidance during her time of need. Coco knows Bear as a good friend and excellent company for someone always there when she needs him.
Taika / ✘ /
Though she won’t admit it, Coco is quite afraid of Taika. Her brooding personality and spiteful attitude drive Coco to avoid her by any means possible. Taika’s constant mocking and snide remarks may be a joke to her, but have quite the impact on Coco’s self esteem. Coco knows not to fight fire with fire and will continue with every effort to make peace but only time will tell if she is fighting a losing battle.
Atlas / ➢ /
Atlas seems like a decent dog to Coco, but in truth, is slightly arrogant for her tastes. However, Coco wouldn’t turn down his company should he offer it. Again, Atlas is a dog she doesn’t know much about. From what she can tell, he is very bold, a trait that contrasts completely with Coco’s personality. But he still interests her. Yet putting her trust in him is still up for debate.
