Description:
Delilah is a german shepherd-siberian husky mix. She has crystal blue eyes, a slim body, and she's pretty small for her breed. Her coat is thin but she has long healthy teeth and her tail is bushy. She has a gash on her right forearm (from a skinned bullet) and a slit in her right ear. She also has multiple scars that run down her back left leg, they are scratch scars from coyotes, which is why she doesn't like them. She is very quiet but unmistakingly brave, kind, honest, smart, and strong. She doesn't talk much considering everyone and everything that's left her and because of this she is insecure. Her tone is always gentle and she is always as kind as she can be.

History:
Delilah used to be a service dog for a little girl named Emily, hence why she's so intelligent and a great listener. Her and her small human who was six years of age lived together, in a foster home. Emily was blind and she had been def of one ear, but she knew the amount of love Delilah gave her. Delilah was having a great life until the foster house was evicted. Humans dressed in what appeared to be SWAT clothes entered and so she had lead Emily outside of the home, to the back grassland by the river. They were rushing along the bushes, together, in a hurry to get away from the SWAT when Delilah saw another canine come toward her and Emily, so she defended her and stood her ground. This caused her to come off as violent and so someone, most likely of the SWAT, thought she was threatening Emily, so Delilah was shot at, finally after a round of bullets, one had skinned her forearm and Emily had tripped into the river. Delilah jumped in, after Emily, only to be tugged out and put on a lead, with a caged muzzle cover around her muzzle. She was sent right into a vehicle, barking and scratching for Emily, she was lucky enough to escape the pound after she had been forced in. So she set off into the city, in and out of alleys, dodging every car and human she encounters, still to this day, in search for her beloved Emily.

Appearance: Micah is a tough and stocky male, the figure of a dog who knows how to survive. Born with a rather unique colouration, his face is shaped by a white muzzle which ends further along his forehead. Continuing from his chin, white continues to mark his chest fur, underbelly and tail tip. The rest of his body is mostly pale fawn in colour apart from his face, which is prominent in darker shades of brown surrounding his ears and cheeks. His optics are heterochromia, giving his left eye a strong blue shade and his right a medium brown. Micah’s ears stand fully erect at all times. Despite being part husky, his coat is naturally short, the genes followed from his pit bull dam.

Micah is everything you’d expect for a street dog. He is smart, cocky, but unfortunately, looking out for himself. Micah hasn’t survived this long by ‘being nice’ so he doesn’t plan on changing his behaviour. When faced with another stray, he is likely to judge them, assessing how he may use them to benefit himself. But Micah has his limits. Elders, pups and pregnant or nursing females are specific dogs he will not exploit. But everyone else is fair game. However, he isn’t directly aggressive unless he desires to be. Starting brawls or scraps are no way to survive so Micah is more likely to talk down a threat rather than intensify a situation. He won’t think twice about fighting for his life if it comes to it, but when it comes to having other’s backs, it’s an entirely different story. Micah is independent and has lived the majority of his life as a solitary stray. It’s taught him almost every dog out there will do anything to save their own skin. So naturally, he has become the same. Micah has considered changing his attitude with the world but so farm his efforts have not succeed, though perhaps this is because no dog will stick around long enough for him to try.

Relationships: Open

History: Like many strays, a warm bed and loving home are far from absent in his life. His story began on the stone cold ground of a sidewalk, a similar place his story will, no doubt, end. Micah wished he could’ve spent more time with his mother. Maybe gotten the chance to open his eyes and see her but just days after birth she left in search of food and never returned. As he and his siblings grew weaker by the hour, a miracle entered their lives. A young Labrador, still grieving the loss of her own pups, found Micah and his litter, and took it upon herself to care for them. Micah was raised by this female well into puphood, and remained with his siblings until six months old. At this point, he pursued his own life on the streets. His methods of survival altered over the years. As a young dog, he fought for dominance against rivalling strays, though this often ended in his submission. He joined groups, driven by ‘strength in numbers’ but this had its obvious problems with power struggles and lack of food. Micah weighed his options and decided surviving alone was his most sensible option. Though after years of solitude, perhaps his mind does crave for a companion.
