oof sorry I've been dead I was watching Captain Marvel- which was amazing, by the way

here's all my theories, but I'm not too sure about any of them pff sorry for the word vomit

- Fenrys had to kill Darius, his brother, and Set killed Osiris, his brother
- The Trial of Longknives and the competition between Set and Horus for the throne of Egypt are a bit similar
- The entirety of Black’s post, (plus the correction by Lucid in which on page 2, Stormhaze’s father mentions Seth which leads me to the belief that Darkstar is starting a cult of sorts to worship Seth, or he was influenced to worship Seth), has quite a bit of evidence: boop
- On page 3, Darkstar thinks ‘Everything was perfect, and going according to plan.’ This can be seen as sinister because if he does worship Seth/plan to keep his throne/etc. What is he planning? And it’s mentioned this would be his last mating ceremony before he became an elder, and he may not want to give up his crown so soon…. Or he may be grooming Stormhaze and/or other members of the clan to worship Seth (aka like “oh he’s not that bad”) or to have a loyal group of cats willing to defend him if he outs himself as a worshiper of Seth and the clan revolts
- Even he couldn't deny that he had always played favorites… (pg. 4) Less Seth related, but also still a bit suspicious to me. In what ways has he played favorites? We know he’s attempting to mold Stormhaze into a ruthless warrior, and he might just assign Fallencloud to be with Stormhaze (maybe) but there has to be more of his influence of favorites somewhere
- This is less Seth conspiracy, more general conspiracy (and worry because I love Quietrain). Lucid mentions that her seeing the dead and such is What they didn't know was that that was only half of it. It just makes me curious as to what the other half is… then again, Osiris was betrayed by Set(h) in the myth so there may be something linking it back to the Seth conspiracy
- But it almost sent his claws raking across the stone beneath him when he acted as though he were limited when it came to a subject he could easily override if he wished. That was, if he took the proper precautions first.. The thought graced him with a divinely mischievous smile.
It was not exactly a coincidence his past name was once, Darkfang (pg. 4)
This is just downright suspicious to me. ‘Proper precautions’ sounds like there’s a certain way to influence the assigned mates, and the ‘Darkfang’ part sticks out. It makes me think there’s some threatening or murder that will happen so Darkstar can get his way. And since Seth is god of violence… well
- Actually, mentioning things Seth is the god of, he’s also god of foreigners, which could lead back to Fenrys and his group before they were killed
- And since he’s god of storms… maybe I’m looking into it too much but something bad could happen to Stormhaze or he could start worshiping Seth
- 'Of what he, perhaps would formally offer her, once she was ready, of course…' -thinking emoji- is he trying to convert Fallencloud?
- Information of their culture was one thing, but if the wrong cat managed to find the wrong scroll, it could injure the clan beyond repair. (pg. 5) Hmmm….. Perhaps something about Seth? Or just something in general about the clan’s history?
- I can’t really find anything on pg. 6, maybe someone else caught something?
- The whole prophecy is giving me Seth vibes honestly because of all the destruction. Since he’s god of chaos, disorder, and violence, and there’s such a strong mix of those three in Quietrain’s vision, I wouldn’t be surprised if the prophecy has something to do with the cat(s) in the clan who worship Seth and how the clan could fall because of them or other circumstances
- Actually wait the line “the sun had vanished- the moon did not show itself” is giving me really strong Apep vibes with the whole eating the sun thing but it’s probably coincidental?
- “But the pleas weren’t to live” probably for a quick death, then, if the state of Whitelily in Quietrain’s vision is anything to go by.
- The line “from the midst of your corruption” in the prophecy makes me think of the cat(s) worshiping Seth as well, since he’s seen as an evil god and worshiping him could be seen as corruption within the clan
- I can’t really spot anything in the intro of chapter 2 either, but maybe someone else did?

My advice is to just...keep at it...

You never know what pieces you'll find that fit together so....perfectly. ;)
