Once upon a time, Zeri was a kittypet by the name of Sanati. They were very well cared for, their master being a record keeper who dabbled in music when he had free time - and they enjoyed spending time with him while he was playing. They had been adopted from a very young age, but it was around the time they were reaching their ninth moon that things started changing. The catalyst for this was meeting a street cat who went by the name Nak.
Nak found his way into Sanati's home one day while escaping from an irritable dog he'd stolen food from - and on an impulse they had hidden him from their master to protect him. He was a charming rogue in every way, and they fell for him hard that first meeting - and too their surprise, he kept coming back to visit them. Again, and again, and again.The name 'Zeri' was given to them by Nak, claiming that it fit them better, and that stuck. Until eventually they were escaping to meet up with him outside their home as well. They told him about the life of a kittypet, and he taught them how to survive on the streets. By the time they were 12 moons old, they stopped returning home.

They were really, truly happy together, and Zeri would have followed him anywhere - and soon they left the human-built streets behind after a few too many close calls. Sometimes things were hard, sometimes they were hungry, but Zeri believed that as long as they had Nak, everything would work out in the end. For a time, it did.
At fifteen moons, Zeri and Nak were caught up in a rather sudden sandstorm. Unfortunately, they were unknowingly close to Sunclan's territory, and the sandstorm stopped them from recognizing the border - the pair wandered into clan territory in search of shelter. Nak, instantly ready to fight to protect his mate, was killed before they got the chance to explain, and Zeri, meeker and less of a fighter, was taken as a slave. Originally, they were a Courtier due to their demeanor, but after one of the Music Courtier's before them died in their sleep leaving them short-pawed for their sunrise appearance, Zeri very quietly admitted that they could play the harp {and incredibly well, everyone soon realized. Living with a musician earlier in their life clearly rubbed off on them}, and found themself in this position instead.
Kindhearted and self-sacrificing to a fault, and easily intelligent enough to realize there is little they can do, Zeri has accepted the hand life has dealt them with as much grace as a servant could. Even now they mourn Nak, but silently. They were their heart on their metaphorical sleeve however, and thoughts and emotions often an open book.

@everyone - Okay, so I promised another high rank but due to the fact that I feel we already have so many, I added another Guard place to whomever doesn't already have two High Blood Ranks. I have updated the Allegiances and have hopefully added everyone that was missing character-wise.

Please note that all reservations that were previously made will expire by tomorrow (MST time).
And as for the RP itself...I think it might also be time to kick this off as soon as we have just maybe one more person join? On that note...bug your friends to join! ^^
