Greyson Miller
➳
Full Name: Greyson Miller
Nicknames: Grey
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Eyes: Brown
Hair Color: Brown
Hair Style: Often swept up
Skin: Tan
Height: 5'6
Weight: 150 lbs.
Build: Stocky/Muscular
Modifications: Tattoo - Left Bicep, Simple Arrow with 2/18/2005-11/21/16 in small type along the shaft.
Personality: Cool and collected, Grey strives to be focused in the ring; he's always looking for a challenge. He's a daring and bold rider, never backing down; which is definitely a fault of his. Grey is a pretty laid back and easy going on the ground or when he's not in the competition ring.
History: Greyson grew up around horses on his grandparent's farm, having the privilege to ride over the summer and whenever school was on break. He was competitive from short stirrup up through juniors, successful in the medal classes and riding up through the jumper ranks. Grey ended up going the homeschool route for high school so he could focus on the circuit. He has been doing decently well catch riding and bringing along sale horses.
Likes: Training; Showing; Hacking; Cookies
Dislikes: Large Crowds; Thunderstorms; Western Pleasure
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual
Crush: N/A
Significant Other: N/A
Horses: Karma; Mischief
Discipline: Jumpers

Show Name: Ultimatum
Barn Name: Karma
Gender: Mare
Age: Eight
Breed: Swedish Warmblood
Coat Color: Dapple Grey
Markings: None
Eye Color: Milk Chocolate
Height: 16.1 HH
Personality: Sweetheart, Bold, Scope-y; Karma is surefooted and calculated. She tries to find the perfect distance no matter the situation, and will get her rider safely to the other side of any obstacle (unless the rider makes a terrible error). Don't let this mare's sweet exterior to fool you; she is fierce in competition and all about the manners. She demands respect but isn't above cuddles with her human. And she is definitely not above a celebratory buck or two during a course. She has the most willing attitude, always ready for the next thing - but don't send her too many signals and never give her a chance - she's bound to make mistakes and that's okay, it's when she gets confused and frustrated that the world goes black. She is a generally even tempered mare (but yes, she's a mare), well mannered and ready for some action - competitions, work out in the ring, or a wild gallop in the field.
History: Karma came to Greyson just shy of her third year. He had been working at a different stable training horses when this mare was added to his string to ride - Back when she hadn't been ridden. Her potential quickly came out after only his second time on her back and she was eager to learn and form a partnership to last a lifetime. She was all legs and a bit gangly. As a dressage horse, she wasn't going to get very far. It was during a winter storm that her true potential came out. Having been kept in from the ice storm raging beyond the barn doors, the horses were turned out in small groups to the large indoor arena. Karma enjoyed a quick romp around with the other two coming four year olds in her group when she noticed the mounting block on the side of the arena. After checking it out, she decided she couldn't go around it, or through it, or under it - so she must have to go over it, and over it and over it. Grey had laughed so hard at her expression - confusion then pure joy. He bought her at a steal price and refuses to let her go.
Likes: Apples; Hugs; Jumping; Galloping; Rain; Rolling; Fox Hunting
Dislikes: Cola; Crowds - swarming her; Tight Spaces
Discipline: Jumpers; 1.25 m Jumper & Low Jumper Division
Training: Jumpers and lower level basic dressage/flat work
Strengths: Scope; Great with most Distances; Eager to Learn
Weaknesses: Skinnies; Tight Collection; Sometimes Mareish;
Sire: Last Minute
Dam: Trusting Fate
Offspring: None
Owner: Greyson Miller
Show Name: Almost Criminal
Barn Name: Mischief
Gender: Stallion
Age: 9
Breed: Hanoverian
Coat Color: Chestnut
Markings: Blaze, Four White Stockings
Eye Color: Coffee
Height: 16.3 HH
Personality: With a name like his, people often assume that he’s trouble; which isn't the case at all. He’s just rather curious and doesn't have a mean bone in his large body. He was trained well from the very beginning so he’s always level headed. Unfortunately his curiosity has lead to being able to open stall doors, gates etc. so all his latches have extra security. When he does get free, he never takes off but will wonder around to see what everyone else is doing or eats the grass on the other side of the pasture fence.
History: Grey took the stallion on as a training prospect after hearing about him through the whispering grapevine. The horse was so much more than his reputation preceded. With what could only be a great training start - the chestnut horse rarely if ever shows his true stallion nature. In the paddock he loves to show off and move around, but in-hand or under saddle the horse is a true piece of art. After the first show, Greyson was already getting calls with offers on Mischief and by the second outing, he knew the stallion had a forever home with the O'Shea family. An older couple who had grown up in the Irish country side riding and showing horses, they like to invest in young horses and watch them perform. The stallion is Greyson's competition horse.
Likes: Attention; Food; Strolls; Pasture; Back Scratches
Dislikes: Being cooped up; Watermelon; Liverpools
Discipline: Stadium Jumping
Training: Jump Height 1.40m; High Jumper Division, Some grand prix.
Strengths: Bold; Scope; Honest
Weaknesses: Spunky; Back-Cracking Bascule; Tends to over-jump new or scary fences
Sire: WhoDidIt
Dam: Have Mercy
Offspring: None
Owner: The O'Sheas

ethnicity polish - american
nationality american
hair colour dark brown
eye colour green
height 5'5

personality generally a pretty sweet girl by nature, the type that always uses her manners and makes sure that everyone is okay before she takes care of herself. she enjoys making others happy but due to her shy nature, she can sometimes tend to stay quiet when her opinion matters most; she is more a follower than a leader and is happier that way, she doesn't like having to carry a possible burden. she is a responsible and trustworthy young lady who is certain to stay loyal to her friends, often giving multiple second chances when she shouldn't. despite all this, once she is mad she is mad and you better keep out of her way until she calms down, this is very rare that she loses her temper as she is one of the more level headed people you will meet but with her tendency to bottle everything negative up, when she is pushed over the edge she explodes.
history emmy has spent her whole life around horses as she was raised by her grandparents, her mother was a teen mother and refused the take care of her, due to her being with her grandparents she was started helping out at her local barn a few months before her eighth birthday when the opportunity was offered to her and she enjoyed every minute of it. she was never the type of child to pester of obviously borderline rich grandparents for things as she was raised to work for what she wanted, never did she express the stereotypical bratty rich kid attitude. she got her first horse at the age of nine after spending five years on lesson ponies and leasing several others until her grandpa decided that it was time for her to have her own. emmy spent most of her time with her first pony and when she wasn't with him she was speaking about him, drawing him or imagining that she was at the barn with him. her school life was an average one, she wasn't a star pupil nor was she at the bottom of the class, she was your average student but still tried her best. by the time she entered highschool she had saved enough money to buy a second horse as her gelding was starting to get too small and too old for her needs, despite this she refused to sell him and he was retired on a family members property. knowing that she wasn't going to excel in anything too academic, she kept up with her school work whilst competing every weekend and riding four days a week through the school week. eventually she had to sell her second horse due to lack of time for it but started riding Zoe, who at the time belonged to her trainer and it was only when she finished high school that the opportunity to buy the mare was presented to her. a year or so after, she decided that she needed a second horse when the mare was in some obvious need of some time spelled out, so she found henry and decided to bring him on, at first as a future school pony but when she unlocked his potential, she decided to keep him. that brings us to basically where we are today, freshly introduced to Bolder Creek's show jumping team.
show name over zealous
barn name zoe
age 12 years
gender mare
breed dutch warmblood (kwpn)
height 17.1hh
phenotype seal brown minimal frame overo
genotype EE/Aa/nO (will never produce chestnut/sorrel/red based offspring)
markings tiny star (as seen), two back socks, small overo patch on left side of her barrel; no bigger than the palm of a hand
eye colour right - brown , left - half brown, half blue
discipline show jumping (1.35m)
theme song copycat - billie eilish
personality zoe is a seriously competitive horse who lacks the ability to enjoy affection of any sorts, only tolerating a small pat here or there when she is in her most affection mood. she is the type of horse that is here to work and to work only, her mind is always on the job meaning that when she is 'in the zone' so to speak, very little can break her concentration on herself and her rider. despite being an incredibly competitive mount, she can tend to be the very stereotypical type of mare and is very hot and cold when it comes to being asked to do things, as well as being very girthy and generally bad tempered around other horses, specifically other mares. she has been known to bite, specifically males, when being handled in a way she isn't used to. she is very particular to how she is handled and ridden and will perform every trick in the book to let you know that you're doing something wrong. you might think that there is no reason that anyone would want a horse like this, but truth is that she is extremely talented, confident and brave under saddle and has always been a promising horse to compete on and in the eyes of many, that makes up for her feral attitude. she is always willing to comply undersaddle when ridden correctly and has been known to jump anything that is put infront of her, she tends to excel on the cross country course and in the jumping ring.
history from the moment she hit the ground, zoe was spoilt rotten, never taught any manners and was treated as if she was a human child. needless to say her first owners were very experienced people who wanted their child to have a young horse so they could 'learn together', without any experienced trainer to help them, the old saying green on green equal black and blue rang true. as a four year old zoe was sold through a sale yard where she luckily went to a trainer who was bringing on young horses, with zoe he got more than he bargained for but her second own pushed to bring out the potential he knew she had. despite all his efforts, she never got over her piggy nature but excelled undersaddle and was competed at several low level training shows before being sold on to a competition home. zoe was passed around from home to home because of her personality being labelled 'dangerous' until she was tried and bought by her current owner, whom she as seemed to liked a lot more than any of the other owners she's had in the past.

personality just like zoe, henry lives up to the stereotype of your typical gelding; sweet, gentle and even tempered, he is the perfect partner for any equestrian as he tends to adjust himself to suit his rider and their ability. he is a honest and scopey little thing, making up for his lack in height with his accomplishments even at his young age. he is often compared to the smallest horse to compete in the olympics, Stroller, but due to his unsure nature when approaching exceptionally colourful jumps, there is a long way for him to go. henry, despite his quiet nature is a nervous creature who is very easily spooked by little things such as butterflies and anything that flaps. he tends to be very needy and dependant on his human as well as tending to be buddy sour with horses that he is turned out with, he can become very defiant and unpredictable without another horse if he had as little as a week out of work, making him difficult to handle both on the ground and under saddle. needless to say, henry needs to be in constant work as as needing to be lunged before he is ridden.
history bred to be a childrens pony by his original owners, henry was brought along slowly and with a lot of care, he had completed two years of ground work before being broken in as a three year old but was regretfully sold to emmeline when his breeders fell into an opportunity to obtain a high quality stallion and needed to get rid of some of their less useful horses. Thats when he was bought by emme and was brought along slowly, for the first year he only ever did flat work, work over trot poles and trail riding but when he finally reached the age of four, he was started over jumps, only small cross rails and straight-bars until it was decided that he could slowly work up to more complicated jumps. henry was ridden in hack classes at local agriculture shows before he was taken to low level training days, at and five he competed at his first recognised event. over the next year and a half, henry would prove himself as a truly talented young horse worthy of competing at the level he is today.

personality chase is the type of guy that does something and then thinks about it later, he cant stand still and has to be constantly on the move, doing something new, experiencing something different, anything the get his adrenaline up and going. it is strange and unexpected for a guy like him to be an equitation rider but he a person who strives for perfection, he has always had a strong desire to be the best at something and that thing has to be done perfectly. he will work at something until he feels that he doesn't need to anymore, giving him an incredible work ethic, once he has decided on something, he is going to do it. chase is also the type of person you shouldn't challenge, he loves a competition and will take any chance he can to prove that he is the best and that he can't be beaten. it is more of a down fall that a positive as this makes him rather egotistical, rather up himself, although he doesn't know it, it wouldn't hurt for him to be knocked down a dew pegs. despite the fact that he will never show nor admit it, chase is a sensitive person who takes things to heart, he is a person who does want that hug you offered but will never admit that he needs it. he is in short, too proud for his own good.
history chase came from a middle class family and had a pretty average upbringing, his father left when he was young and it was up to his older brother to be the so called man of the house. growing up without a solid father figure, he often found himself getting into trouble and never being disciplines for it as his mother believed that her four children could do no wrong, not to say that he wasn't a sweet kid to him mother as he was and he owed her everything. chase actually grew up with horses but he was never the one who owned them, his mother was a groom and stable hand for a racing stable and thats how he was first introduced to horses. ever since he was little, he wanted to be an exercise rider; he dreamed of galloping a beast as powerful as the mighty thoroughbred and even convinced his mother to let him take lessons so that one day he could accomplish this. despite his 'bad boy' front, chase did rather well in school but he always put his family and his passion of riding above the necessity of school, meaning he dropped out in year eleven to get a job and support his mother and younger siblings. but all through this, he kept riding, often taking up jobs exercising both show and racehorses on the side for extra cash. he was actually pretty good and when given the opportunity to start showing a young gelding, he took it and that is what led him to where he is now.
