Young was born to an ordinary
human family in Seoul, South Korea.
His power wasn't obvious at first, he
just seemed to be a sickly kid. As he
got older, his power became more
obvious. Once his parents realized,
they sent him to study abroad. Once
he graduated, he found himself in
Airedale. He opened up a small flower
shop and makes his living doing that.
He doesn't use his power much
anymore and tends to keep to himself.

History:
Growing up she was the only family member who was a shape-shifter. All the rest of her immediate family had been human and they despised her for being different and "unnatural". They locked her away and made everyone else forget about her. She was locked in a small room as she grew up and finally she was able to control her abilities enough to slip by a crack in the door and escape. Barely fed throughout her youth though, she soon fainted in the woods that surrounded her small village. She woke cold, wet, and scared because of the new surroundings. Finally, she grew up a bit more and learned where she had come from and went to visit her family, hoping to get on their good side. This ended badly with her escaping from their grasp and accidentally setting fire to their small home. Her family was killed instantly by the caving in of the house leaving her alone. Years went by and now she has found her way the Crescentwood Manor.

Personality:Jo is pretty grim and solemn, he has lived a long time and has had a lot of heartbreak. He likes to be helpful and is always ready to lend a hand, but he is very introverted. He greatly misses his lover, son, and his family, and it shows. He's not one to smile or even talk much, but he provides a shoulder to cry on and is an excellent listener. He is a hopeful romantic at heart.

Kin: Long Dead. He is the second oldest of 5 children. His older brother Leif, his two younger brothers Thorvald and Thorstein, and his baby sister Freydís. His father Erik was a lycanthrope and his mother Thjodhildr was a sorceress. His brother Leif was the only child who did not inherit any of the family majik and thus died of old age. Thorvald was a werewolf but was felled in battle by a silver arrow. Thorstein was a sorcerer but fell deathly ill. Freydís was like Jo, a werewolf and sorcerer, was accidentally killed in a building collapse. His father died of silver poisoning and his mother chose to join the rest of her family in her own terms.
Relationship Status: It's very complicated. Sometime in the 1800's Jo was separated from his lover and has never been able to find him again. He is still faithful to the man, even though his lover should have reunited with him by now. (Basically it's gonna take a lot of work for someone to woo him.)
Offspring: His lover had a son and Jo saw him as his own. The son was separated from Jo like Jo's lover.
History:Jo was born around 902 A.D. in what would be current-day Iceland. He is the second son of Erik Thorvaldsson, or Erik the Red, a now famous Norse explorer with lycanthropy and Thjodhildr, a Norse sorceress. In his later years he would accompany his elder sibling, Leif, as a bodyguard against the fantastical on his explorations. One one such exploration, Jo decided he'd rather just explore on his own and separated from his brother. Unfortunately, the last time Jo would see any of his family was on their funerals. Jökull spent most of his days seeing the world, going from continent to continent and learning about each culture. He also spent his time teaching sorcerers he came across their craft. He had an advanced grasp on sorcery, even to the point of being able to control his lycanthropy at will. No longer would he have to be a simpleminded beast at the time of the full moon, he could hold on firmly to his rational mind. At some point in the mid 1700's, Jo made his way back around to Romania. Staying in a wolfish guise, he made his way into the Carpathians stumbling upon a small village lorded over by a massive castle. Through a series of adventures in the woods by the castle, he came face to face with its count or graf. He knew two things right away, the Graf was absolutely a vampire and he was the most intense and attractive man he has ever met. He and the Graf, or Johannes, enjoyed a loving and content relationship. Jo even became much of a father to Johannes' adult son, Herbert. Some time in the 1800's the castle was stormed by vampire and witch hunters, overwhelmed the three split up and agreed to find one another at a later date. Months, Years, Decades, and Centuries passed but Jo never found them. He got a job at the manor in the hopes that Johannes and Herbert, being vampires like most of the Stoker family, that they would somehow be invited to the manor. He waits even still.

He speaks several different languages; Norwegian, Swedish, Icelandic, Danish, Finnish, German, Galec, French, Romanian, Polish, and several others.((I've had this boy for a long, long time. His family is of Erik the Red, the historical figure, just with some fantastical elements thrown in.
