'Laika' & 'Kier'
17 year old Straight Females
Laika is a Red Fox shifter with Void/Darkness powers (can move through shadows(and sometimes accidentally fades into them), do a likeness of teleportation by "stepping" into the Void between places, tends to accidentally make things disappear.)
Kier is a Red Fox shifter with Creation/Light powers (often accidentally glows, can travel between lit spots, can encourage living things to grow, creation power is usually limited to fixing what her sister broke and limited to things that she has seen before- don't always have the best durability either)
Their strengths and weaknesses are wholly dependent on each other. Laika has a bad habit of melding with shadows when she is uncomfortable, and when she gets worked up she can accidentally make things disappear with a touch. While it's convenient to have a 'void pocket' for when you don't want to carry your school books around, trying to keep track of where exactly in the infinite void you put those items is the hard part. Kier is the opposite- when surprised, she sometimes emits a bright flash of light, which makes any time she is trying to be stealthy difficult because shes a bit jumpy. She is also painfully shy in new situations so when she gets embarrassed she can start to glow as well. Laika is the best foil for Kier, and Kier is the best foil for Laika. When Laika accidentally looses her school books in a void pocket, Kier makes Laika a new one for the class until she can find her book. When Kier gets overexcited and there's suddenly a small army of garden gnomes in your room, Laika can make them disappear again. Neither of them are really in full control of their powers, so random and often hilarious mistakes happen often around the two, but it can also be dangerous and a huge problem when they need their powers to work properly. Another issue they are finding is that their powers rarely work apart- it seems that for now, Laika and Kier can only really use their powers in each others presence.
Personality wise, while Laika is more outgoing than she should be, Kier is the complete opposite and has a real grounding effect on Laika. Laika drags Kier out of her quiet shell, and Kier reins Laika in when Laika is about to do something rash. Both have artistic minds and are book lovers, although Laika likes adventure novels and painting, while Kier likes romance and prefers to sketch and work with charcoal.
To look at them, one would automatically assume their powers the opposite. They are pretty darn identical for fraternal twins, carrying the same height (5'3), same body type (slim with gentle curves), same skin tone (fair, almost too pale), and same face shape (almost heartlike, with high cheekbones). However, Laika has oddly white hair, with the left eye green, the right eye blue. Kier has pitch black hair, with the left eye blue, right eye green. Laika tends to dress more girly than Kier, liking fun summer dresses, bright colors and cute patterns. Kier prefers dark, solid colors, and while she can enjoy a dress every once in a while she prefers jeans. Most people assume that Kier is the one who wields darkness and Laika is the one who wields light based off their personalities and appearance.
The pair of them are taking Specialized Magic to learn how to better use their powers. They also chose to take Shifter Study (group choice), Archery I (Kier's pick) and Weapons I (Laika's pick).

Laika and Kier were born only seconds apart, on February 29th of a leap year. They were raised the same, dressed the same, and put in to the same activities so their level of dependence on each other and general distrust of outsiders isn't that strange. It takes a while to break in to the girls world and really get to know them, beyond what they show the world. Being accepted into the Academy was a big step out of the two's sheltered life and distant parents, so who knows how they will react?

She's shy but gets angry easily and TRUST me, you don't want to get her angry! She doesn't have many friends but she likes getting involved anyway. Rose has a dark past and wanted to wash it all away and forget it all. She has tried being normal and attending human schools but people made fun of her for her wings. She flew through the roof of the school and vowed to kill everyone who made fun of her but the principal called her father to let them know she was expelled. Now, her entire family has been washed out except a long lost sister that she assumes was assassinated. She has a sentimental side and can feel everything that happens to her peers. Rose now comes here to wipe away her tears along with her memories and move along with her life as a student.

She has light fair skin and has one purple eye and one red eye. Her hair is crimson colour like her favorite season, fall. She often wears black to try and hide her wings. She never wears sunglasses because that was a tool the government used to hunt down her family. Rose wears a black locket and tiara in which she wears to show respect towards her family. She's short and skinny but has a big personality.
Her family lived happily but her father was a wanted criminal with a huge reward if someone caught him. The government tried to hunt them down when she was only 11 years old. They were constantly moving due to the government searching for them. The longest she's stayed still was 3 years. She and her older sister went to school, their mother stayed at home and their father was on the run. 3 years later on her 14th birthday, she was blowing her birthday cake candles wishing that her father would come back home. She blew them out and her father ran inside quickly shutting the door. Some men in black suits and sunglasses projecting words on the wall killed her mother and took away her father leaving her and her sister home. Her 18 year old sister was terrified and left 14 year old Rose at home all by herself with a few hundred dollars to survive with.

Almost perfect, only thing is she can only shift into an animal, no supernatural creatures. She also can't be a supernatural creature.
Fix that, and you're good to go.
