Personality: Chase is definitely the reserved type. He keeps his thoughts and emotions to himself for the most part, preferring to just listen and give small bits of input when he sees the need. He only ever gives short responses to anyone trying to talk to him and he has never been seen starting a conversation himself. However, he is never cold or purposefully rude. He tries to be as considerate and as kind as possible, smiling at every new person he meets. His powers allow him to hitch rides in people’s shadows but he almost always asks first before doing so. Though he is clever and lazy so he isn’t above cheating on a test, for example, using that same shadow power. Overall he likes to go with the flow and allow others to make big decisions while he sits back to provide help when needed.

History:In elementary and middle school, Chase was constantly bullied for only being able to shift into a relatively weak animal. He was always looked down upon and pushed around. He would always be forced to do things for others. Until he started to develop his magic. His magic let him hide from, and even take revenge on, his bullies. He would ambush them anytime they got too close to a shadowy corner or a dark room. He had escalated it to a point where his bullies were terrified of the dark. During that time he quickly became very cynical and recklessly careless. Eventually, as his ultimate revenge, he planned to sneak into their homes at night and give them the scares of their lives. Then he saw the true stories behind some of his bullies. Some had horrible family problems, some had no family at all. It was at this point that Chase started to realize where some of the bullying had come from. Upon further spying he realized that what he was doing was wrong and suddenly stopped terrorizing his former enemies. Instead, he decided to be kind to them, even calling the authorities on the parents of one of them. Before his middle school years were over, he was able to become decent friends with some and neutral peers with the rest.
Family: Chase is an only child with caring but oblivious parents. Luckily he was able to find his independence and take care of himself.

personality - jay is seen as an antisocial person and someone who would ignore the
world no matter how much chaos is going on. although he is quiet, he is the complete
opposite online, so that's where he releases all the thoughts. jay is very carefree, he
doesn't like thinking much about anything because he knows it would turn out right in
the end so he doesn't like philosophical questions and will avoid it. jay enjoys freedom
and cannot sit still for very long but unlike the others of his element, he isn't rebellious
or very fidgety. he would only stand up in class and walk around before going back to
sit down. jay also doesn't play pranks, he would sometimes steal some electricity from
the school but only so that the lights would briefly flicker (or a blackout if he's way too
tired)

history - jay was born in south korea but he moved to canada for elementary and grew
up there which he was able to learn english and french. he graduated with the highest
mark in visual arts in his high school and that summer he received the invite from red
moon university. teachers in school usually ignore him because he never participates
but jay still does his homework like the good kid (or sometimes not) he is. he had an
average childhood as he grew up with his cousin who is also an elemental so jay never
really freaked out when he found out about his developing powers.

others - wears metal earrings to help amplify and conduct the electricity (both range
and power) in emergencies, he is paranoid of swimming because he thinks his powers
will get out of hand, jay is also claustrophobic but no one knows why.

and don't call him short or jimmy or he will shock you.
just don't.

i hate op characters and roleplaying them is just lame.
i'm trying to keep it so that he can't use his electricity without a conductor or physical
contact.
