(his birth country). It was hard for him to make a living
as he got older, having never truly settled down until his
thirties. When the plague came, he found himself losing
whatever semblance he had of home, and hopped from
place to place in search of... something. His goals on this
trip changed over time, but it was mostly to survive, to
find a home that he could stay in for longer than just a
week or two at max.
𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 (and personality): Hale often reminds others
of a curious cat. He's got the sense for adventure but never
forgets the taste of home. The man is nice, when you get to
know him- seems friendly enough.
It is only when you realize that he doesn't have any secrets,
is when most really start to suspect him. Especially because
the man also has a habit of "floating" around, always peaking
around the house, and then appearing elsewhere, which of
course can cause unwanted questions. Hale just seems to have
habit of carrying himself in a certain way that can set off a
few instinctual alarm bells. His stature is average, at about
5'11" tall, jaw-length sheared hair often described as the
color of a darkened oak wood. Hale sports a set of hazel eyes
in the colors of blue with a ring of brown towards the pupil.
They often are the center of his "shady" first impressions,
as they can come off as cold, or judgmental. Hale as well
likes to keep up his facial hair, though sometimes falling
short and growing out a bit of stubble in such apocalyptic times.
You can normally see him with a bushy upper lip
(reference photo above), which, of course, might not help his
case. Mysteriously, Hale also has a light crossed scar near the
left corner of his mouth, almost unrecognizable due to it's
light color. Hale has no recollection of what this is from,
and has always remembered having it, even in youth.
𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬: Hale has incredibly good footing, and can seemingly
disappear in low lighting (and darkness), just because he can
be extremely quiet. He can slip by the most alert, no matter
the creature's senses. It is deliberated if this is truly a power
of his, or just a well developed skill.
