❥Personality: Alyssa was a kind and soft-spoken girl who always craved companionship and tried to see the best in everyone, making her a very compassionate individual before the end of the world struck. She's still retained some of that compassion, but also knows that things are different now and that she could easily be taken advantage of. When it comes to interacting with others in this new world, she opts to think carefully before acting, as she doesn't want to trigger any unpleasant situations because of impulsive actions. She works somewhat well with other people, but can be quite wary and fearful around others and may be hesitant to work with them initially, even though she secretly desires more companionship. She's become fairly independent, but feels somewhat uncomfortable being by herself and dislikes being alone as she'll find herself quickly becoming lost within her own thoughts.

Sometimes she can drive herself into momentary fits of worry/panic, and when she is overwhelmed with negative emotions, her first instinct is to find somewhere to decompress. Though she tends to be quite a transparent person when it comes to her emotional state once she's become comfortable with someone, Alyssa doesn't want to let more burdening conflicts affect her companions, so she chooses to hold back, hence why she goes to private spots if needed. If she can't find somewhere to go, she'll just try to bottle it in until it all bursts out.

❥History: There's nothing noteworthy about her life before the blast. She was a good kid who got good grades and had a normal friend group in school. When the blast happened, Alyssa was with her sister. The two of them immediately went back to their house, discovering that their parents and dogs were gone. The two went around searching for a while, ultimately determining that their parents were likely dead. Since then, Alyssa and her sister have stuck together, discovering their abilities and helping each other control and experiment with them.

❥Powers:
Water Manipulation: Alyssa can seemingly "create" (by taking moisture from the air), shape, and manipulate water. The more water in an environment there is, the more Alyssa will be able to control. Alyssa uses water in hydrokinetic combat to make up for her lacking skills in physical combat. She can shape water into a fist to punch, and sometimes she creates a wave or whip to knock her foes down. She's also found other ways to use her ability, like taking the moisture from plants or ground to provide her with water if she needs it. Alyssa can also turn existing liquids into different forms of matter, like evaporating water or turning it to ice, but doing this takes lots of energy, so it's used sparingly if used at all. Moving/changing large amounts of water for a long period of time will drain her energy quickly (around 30-35 minutes will be long enough for it to start making her tired).

Empathy: Alyssa can share her sensations or emotions with other people, and can also influence whatever emotions they're currently experiencing. This ability can only be used through physical contact with whoever she's using it on. Given her sensitive nature, it's easy for her to become overwhelmed and can leave Alyssa emotionally/physically drained afterwards, especially if the person she's using her ability on is experiencing very intense emotions. It's not used much, but when she does use this ability, it's typically used to help calm someone down.

➸Personality: The bolder of the Ellwood sisters, Quinn is an adventurous girl with a sharp wit. She acts as the fighter while her sister acts as the diplomat. Before the blast, she used to generally be open to any company as long as she was comfortable with them. Now she's learned to keep an eye out for any potentially dangerous people, mostly to keep her sister out of danger. While she is willing to perform kind acts for others, she is still always wary and a little slower to trust people than her sister is. Once she gets used to someone and decides she can trust them, then she's quick to relax around them. She tries to act as the optimist in a group setting, however, she isn't afraid to say what is on her mind if the situation calls for it.

Quinn will stay very loyal to those she cares for and seemingly does a 180 when her allies are in harm's way, fiercely moving to defend and assist them, making her a valuable ally. Unlike her younger sister, Quinn trusts her gut and tends to act on her instincts— which are usually ruled by good intentions, but can land her in trouble if she's not too careful. The scars on her back come from an incident where she wasn't careful enough and got herself into a skirmish with a few mutated animals.

➸Powers
Telekinesis: Quinn can move objects with her mind and also hold them in place. She likes using this ability to throw objects at her enemies from a far distance, or swing them like a bat at a closer range. Smaller objects are the easiest for her to lift and move around (for example, moving silverware vs. a fridge). Larger objects take more effort, and Quinn finds herself sometimes being unable to lift them depending on how heavy they are. She can still drag them around, making those objects useful for barricading shelters. As long as Quinn has the energy, many things in her surroundings can become weapons or be used for self defense.

Enhanced Stamina: Quinn has more energy and can sustain herself at her peak level during physical activities without tiring for a little longer than an average human can.
