As for general rules:
1. Do not god mode
2. Do not power play
3. Remember site rules
4. Keep powers balanced
5. Use logic, do not break into a place, get kicked out with a warning only to go straight back in.
6. Logic in fights says that an experienced fighter won’t lose to a trainee.
7. Length can vary from post to post based on inspiration, but always give people something to work with. This means no one word replies.
8. Grammar and spelling should be decent. Autocorrect from a phone or tablet or random typos though will not get you in trouble.

Character Creation Rules:
1. Again characters belong in the discussion thread
2. You can have as many as you want as long as you can handle them.
3. You may play your own horse or request one be assigned.
4. You may request a roommate.
5. If you don’t want to request a specific roommate or horse/rider, one will be assigned when we start.
6. You can make your own form but if it is a horse it must include the breed it appears as and what it actually is along with any powers it possesses. Humans need a special personality trait that will allow their horse to act by its true nature. I will never accept blank personalities or any "Will RP out" or "Ask about it"
7. Character age limits: Instructors must be adults, students must be over the age of 15.
8. All sexualities and gender identities are welcomed.

Horses don't need histories, this is because really they won't remember the truth, this is part of the mystery.

Unlike most forms Feral's will only contain speculation and what is discovered. He will rarely make an appearance until later in the RP.

Here's what is known thus far:
Feral is a man. He wears black metal armor including a helmet that hides his face. He has a tattered purple cape that looks as though it was once very high quality and expensive.

Personality: When seen in the pasture Nightshade is a very calm and patient horse. He doesn't seem to mind people approaching to him and is rather friendly. He does love apples, and offering him an apple is always a good idea. There is a lot more about him but it'll have to be discovered as it ties into certain mysteries. With the other horses he doesn't tend to socialize much, though it's obvious he does like them and tries to be the mature, almost father like figure when he can.

Looks: This particular teenager stands with confidence and is certainly a rather tall, standing at 6’2” and rather well built with a lean figure. He has long black hair, at least for a man, is in direct contrast with his skin. His green eyes always make him seem friendly, along with a particularly inviting smile. His voice can be described as calming, at least when he speaks with others, though it quickly becomes boisterous when he makes a declaration of something. Of course the most impressive skill with his voice is his ability to sing though does not often perform. He always walks with his head held high, proud of who he is.

Personality: Dereth acts really as a white knight, the reasons for this can seem odd but it's just how he is. He will put himself on the line for nearly anyone, believing in honour and valour above all else. He is certainly very friendly with others, often cheerful even, the type to go out of his way to help someone. Running away from a fight is something Dereth avoids rather often, a flaw that will get him into trouble, but no more than the other flaws. He's quick to trust and take someone at their word, considered a tad gullible, he falls for stories of sadness out of his pure desire to help others. His heart will overtake his brain every time, and even then his brain is just following his beliefs, if one is to be honourable and courageous, one must show compassion to others. Dereth is oblivious to how others feel about him when it comes to romance, in fact he doesn't think about it much not even certain of what he is. Honestly he's bisexual, it's just hard for him to catch onto even the possibility of a relationship often making him frustrating.

History: Growing up with stories of fantasy, knights fight dragons to rescue princesses, Dereth always found he loved the idea of what a knight should be. The guy who comes to rescue, does things right, doesn't need reward to do what is good. Dereth loves the idea of heroes, it's what he wants to be in his life. An only child his rather well off parents spoiled him and his good friends caused him not to really understand how hard it is for everyone else. Still, he does try to understand and makes an effort to be good to those he meets.

Name: Damion “Hawk” Raynor

Looks: This young man always has a grin on his face, well at least when everyone sees him. His shorty dirty blonde hair is slightly messy, when he does stop to think of an answer he runs a hand through it explaining why it is the way it is. Friendly blue eyes nearly always look happy. He stands in a welcoming way, standing 6'4" he never actually seems to talk down to anyone no matter if they are shorter than him. When riding he has a tight black jacket that looks like it has seen better days, otherwise he wears loose fitting jeans or sweats and a baggy white shirt almost like he just rolled out of bed.

Personality: A slight flirt with female instructors, but overall a friendly guy, Hawk seems to always have a grin on his face. He's supportive and friendly towards everyone he meets and does insist they call him Hawk. He will tell a joke and try to lighten the mood if things get rough. He tends to want to smile and joke even in a tough situation so people feel safe around him. That being said when he does stop smiling and stop telling jokes, it's obvious that something is very wrong and that he is taking it completely seriously. He would search for anyone who went missing but does typically believe in other people.

History: Hawk has had unique hobbies before, before coming to Dragon Eye Stables he learned falconry and was very good at it. Then he got his invite and left to try riding, to see if he liked it as much, though he did bring his hawk at the time. Having a hawk was how he got his nickname, at first others just called him Hawk Boy, then they shortened it to Hawk. He seemed to like, owning the nickname as much as he could, he never really liked how much of a mouthful Damion was after all. Hawk will admit to being once a student at the stables but why he stayed passed it, how he got hired isn't exactly clear. Hawk loves hearing theories about himself, though never confirms or denies anything. If anything he encourages more.

Other: He does still have a Harris Hawk from his days of Falconry, though he hides it and uses it in the forest when no one is around. Occasionally his hawk can be seen flying around the grounds but most seem to think it's just a wild hawk. This is because Hawk himself releases it from his window.

Looks: The most notable thing about Natalia is her shoulder length red hair which often draws the eye. Afterwards it would likely be her natural beauty that draws more attention, pale skin from generations who lived in snowy regions where the sun doesn't shine so much, piercing green eyes, all put together with a slim figure that stands at 5'4". She holds herself in such a way where she could either disappear into a crowd or stand out of it, just based on what she feels like doing, though naturally she stands and gives off the general vibe of if you come near her she will punch you. She carries a very light accent, though placing it is hard it may be Russian, it may be Romanian. When she speaks though he actual voice has song like qualities to it, at least when she's being nice. You will never hear her sing, yell for you to back off probably will hear that, but sing? No. For the most part she speaks harshly to others.

Personality: Natalia is harsh, sarcastic and sometimes downright mean, at least towards most. She's just salty because she doesn't want to get attached to others, she tried that once and didn't work. If someone can survive her attitude long enough to get closer to her, they'll find that her spiky outer personality is hiding one that can trust others very deeply, and cares more than she would ever admit. There is no easy way to get to know what Natalia is really like. For the most part it requires getting her alone at night while her guard is down. No one can keep such a hard exterior up all the time. She speaks fondly of nights back home. Getting to that point with her is worth the effort, her friendship is hard to earn but is never lost. She trusts her friends completely and will give up anything for them.

History: Natalia doesn't say where she grew up but really it was a small town located on the far east side of Romania, which shared its border with both Ukraine and Moldova. Due to its odd location it was common for Natalia to hear many different languages growing up but oddly in her town the most common included Russian with Romanian, as many families were actually from Russia and kept up the language, this mix of languages led to her accent and her ability to speak fluently in both. She moved away and eventually learned English, her accent nearly disappearing that it only shows when she is angry.

Looks: Leon stands straight making his already tall height seem like even more, at 6'3", he carries himself like someone from the military. Extremely fit, Leon looks older than his age but just a few years. His light brown hair is kept short, though has a little bit more length in the front. He has blue eyes that tend to be hard to read. . Wearing an old brown leather jacket that he never zips up, over top a black shirt he doesn't really care what the weather is, unless it's freezing, he'll always have that jacket on. He wears black gloves over his hands most of the time, along with dark greyish-blue pants that look heavy duty with deep pockets.

Personality: Leon is friendly enough, he treats most things like a job, and he certainly will do his job. He's good at following orders for the most part, if he's told to guard something he'll do it. If something goes wrong on his watch and if someone wants to blame him, he'll go one of two ways: If he respects the person and considers them to be above him, he'll take anything they want to say to him with simple responses. If he sees the person as below him in rank though, he will stand up for himself and has no problem getting physical about it. Honestly he's not a bad guy, just serious or sarcastic. It can make him hard to get to know but he's loyal to a fault. If you have his loyalty, he will never leave you without backup. If something needs to be done, you can count on Leon to do it.

History: Leon was raised on a military base, and this is why he always stands straight and keeps in good shape as his father would run drills with him. Leon doesn't seem to see it negatively in any way, he's thankful for his time on the base. Before receiving an invite to the stables, which seemed odd to him, his goals in life were simply to become a police officer or something of the sort. Accepting the invitation was almost a last second decision for him, something out of the ordinary, and was suggested heavily by his mother who thought it would be good for Leon to get out on his own for a bit instead of constantly being monitored by his father.

Abilities if its true form: Flight, unnatural speed

Personality: Athena can often come across as a tad stuck up, almost seeming to believe herself better than others. Because of this she often will not get along with the other horses but there are exceptions to that rule. The fact that she can come off as rude makes it an almost cruel joke that her rider is Hawk but there is no doubt that she cares about Hawk completely.

Age: 7 Years

Actually: Draconic Steed

Looks:


As a Draconic Steed: Bane is barely a horse at all other than in shape. His body is covered in thick brass dragon scales, his tail is lizard like and head dragon shape, horns and all. His hind legs are still hooves but front end in claws. He is strong but more importantly can take a lot of hits.

Abilities if its true form: Sturdy (taking a lot of hits due to scales), extremely strong, claws, bite, and tail as a weapon. Horns allow for a deadly charge.

Personality: Bane is shy and nervous. Afraid of his own size, terrified of stepping on anyone Bane is certainly a gentle giant. He's smart, picking things up quickly and certainly loyal. What is odd about him is the fact he does not like men. He actively avoids them, and fights against them, preferring women. Given the way he acts he would likely try to buck a male rider off. He's not sure why he dislikes men so much, but they seem to trigger something in him.

With other horses he's fine but extremely shy, preferring to mostly keep to himself than being around them. He's generally nice if approached by another horse.

As a Lightning Steed: Strodin looks about the same except for antlers that resemble that if a deer.

Abilities if its true form: Capable of building a charge when he runs he can funnel lightning either through his powerful hooves or from his antlers. Nicknamed a Lightning Rod, a simpler terms is just Lightning Steed

Personality: Strodin is ridiculously confident and sure-footed. In some ways too much, he will push himself if someone does not stop him. When not being ridden, he seeks attention and is not against stealing things in a playful manner to get it. Guard your hats when Strodin is near.

With others horses he tends to be friendly, boastful and loud. He likes to tell stories and hear them, often of great adventures that he likely never went on or are simply impossible. He can be hard to be around because of this, but if you can put up with the stories you'll usually have a good time around Strodin.
