hae-in is a stupidly gullible and naive mermaid. whenever she is given a task,
she will take it without questioning anything - even if they go against her own m
orals. she just has too much trust in others, and is very easy to rip off. despite t
hat, she can come across as very independent and stubborn, assuring that those
who do rip her off are only the bravest people. in her kingdom she isnt all that
well known for anything really. perhaps the most well known thing she has a rep
utation for is for having a love of pearls. usually pearls and other human treasur
e is deemed worthless in her land, but for whatever reason she really likes the m
ermaid version of a humans tear. something about them is just so shiny and pret
ty, alluring even to her. as any mermaid should be, she is fairly mysterious and h
ardly ever goes to the surface. she doesnt exactly have a reason to go up there,
so why waste her time? the best way to lure her up there would be to put somet
hing shiny in the sky, she'd swim up there faster then you can say "sparkly"! as he
r name suggests, she is an ocean-human (hae-in), and despite all mermaids being
able to sprout legs past the age of fifteen, she still hasnt gone on land yet. its n
ot that shes not curious, its just that she prefers to admire everything from the
distance- untouched. to her it is far more beautiful that way. haeins most favori
te thing has to be crabs. for whatever reason, whenever she sees a crap she pic
ks it up and puts it on her tail. sometimes the crabs do fight back, but not often
which allows her to have as many crabby friends as she wants. so if youre swim-
ming near her, dont touch her tail. unless you want a good pinching - i guess. xx
