- When you hear the word "apocalypse" you think of zombies, right ? Well, least to say, zombies weren't the end of the world . War was . Who would've guessed ? Germany had risen into a higher power again and was becoming quite threatening . They threw the world into a huge arms race once again, all in a hurry to one up Germany and kick them down to size . The country was in total chaos . Then Japan made their move, dropping a nuclear bomb on Berlin . More than half of the country was destroyed . Within days after Japan's attack, Germany attacked Russia . They dropped several bombs on the country and seized it within a few weeks . Africa was then seized by Japan . The two countries fought over control of the Americas, destroying every city in their wake . Soon, famine and disease spread through the human population . Radiation killed many and poisoned most crops . Humans were a lost cause, a dying species . They became feral, losing their morals and their minds . They lost who they were and became no better than any wild animal . Any humans left are vicious scavengers, and usually attack on site .
Meanwhile, the canine population thrived . Instincts kicked in and their thirst for freedom spiked . Of course, not all felt the same way . Some dogs tried to stick near their humans, until they were chased off by the now feral owner . Others took to freedom like a fish does to water . The population boomed . The purebred population decreased, and more mutts popped up . Packs were formed, and territories were established . Dogs were equal to any wild animal now and ruled the city, surviving on any cats, rodents,or trash they came across . And at times, their previous owners . In a way, they were no better than the humans . But all they did was give into hundred of years of suppressed instinct, and now, they are on top of the city .
