about:. nadia was born on the luscious, fertile planet of dahlean. when she was five, her planet began to fall apart. within a year, half the planet was uninhabitable. on her sixth birthday, the second-to-last city fell, the plants and gardens withering away. nadia lost both of her parents. the remaining citizens sent out a distress signal, and a neighboring planet picked them up. the dahleans were sent to a new planet to live on, which only had a few lone residents. the dahleans quickly took over the icy planet, despite its difference from their old planet, and named it aquaria. they have adapted and evolved quickly to fit in the new, cold environment. their skin in insensitive to cold, and their antennae connect to a purple liquid, held in a jar around their neck, to create water. the liquid replenishes while they sleep. their antennae can also manipulate water.

nadia is very curious and friendly, often helping her easily make friends. once you earn her trust, which is rather easy, she will be very loyal to you, willing to do anything to help. nadia is frightened easily, something she is working to overcome. nadia speaks her native language of dahlean, a series of chirps and rolling of the tongue, but while she has mastered the universal common language, she still has a slight accent. nadia wishes to learn more languages, and will often ask others if they will teach her their native language.

about:. adashi was born on roklim, a mining planet. his species would mine the tunnels and caves beneath the surface for minerals, stones, and jewels to trade, and would then perform ceremonies to replenish the planet with energy. the planet and the roklimins live in harmony with each other, and the roklimins live in the caves they carve. adashi is quiet, and is often perceived as judging and strange. in reality, adashi simply doesn't know how to act around others. he rarely speaks, and when he does, it is usually in response to someone. he mostly communicates through actions. adashi has big dreams and strong opinions, he just doesn't know how to share them. once you get to know adashi, he may open up and share with you, but it is quite difficult. since becoming a guardian, adashi has discovered that he can replenish the energy of living beings the same way his species replenishes their planet's energy. this cannot heal people, but it can help them be strong enough to continue while he heals them the old fashioned way; with medicine and bandages. adashi speaks mainly his native language roklimin, consisting of ch and sh noises and a few th's, but he believes he's done well in learning the universal language.

Appearance: Sam is a tall, thin man, with sharp angles and a vaguely unsettling stare. He keeps his fluffy hair dyed black and cut short, but despite his best efforts it grows out quickly. His dark brown eyes shimmer with a soft gold light, hinting at his unnatural ability. He dresses sharply, keeping to neutral colors and simple button downs.When he rolls up his sleeves, the thick lines of full sleeves are clearly visible. The tattoos depict the changing of the seasons, starting with a blizzard across his shoulders and ending with a shadow of a forest at each wrist.

Personality: Sam is quiet and withdrawn, slow to like and even slower to trust. Once you get to know him, however, you'll see that he has a dry sense of humor and a bright smile. Sam prefers to be on the outside, watching others interact before interjecting when he feels he has a good grasp on the situation. Some might call him aloof, but he calls it self preservation. Even though he takes a while to trust, Sam is always respectful, listening to whatever someone has to say to him.

History: Sam comes from an alternate version of Earth, amidst the empty landscape of what used to be Canada. Much of humanity abandoned Earth after something called The Awakening, a name given to the fallout of a meteor shower larger than had ever been seen before. Casualties were upwards of two billion in the shower alone. Afterwards, people began to change. Those who were close to where the meteors fell showed the first signs of unnatural powers just months later. Unprepared and afraid of these new changes, those of humanity who were unaffected fled to space, and the extensive space stations they had created. Sam, one of the so-called 'aftershocks,' was left alone in his apartment building with his younger sister when their parents fled in the night. At only thirteen he took on the mantle as both older brother and father figure. When his sister was old enough, they both signed up for the Guardian program, and have been working for it ever since.

Skills: Samuel has mild telekinesis, capable of lifting things under twenty pounds. In addition, he has the same enhanced senses as other Aftershocks - sharper vision, hearing, and scent. In addition to universal common, he is fluent in English, Canadian French, and American Sign Language.

Appearance: Luca is, in one word, tiny. She's only about 5'2 and skinny as a rail, but her form belies her strength. She keeps her long blonde hair pulled into a low ponytail, tucking it into her beanie when she feels she needs to. Luca's dark eyes have the same shimmering gold as her brother, though her eyes shine brighter as she uses her powers. She has an intricate tattoo of the Milky Way galaxy tucked underneath her left collarbone, and the planets on the inside of her left forearm. On the inside of her right forearm she has a tattoo similar to Sam's - a gradient of the seasons, starting with spring at her wrist and ending with winter at her elbow. She dresses in loose clothes and thick fabrics, opting for comfort rather than style. The only consistency to her outfit is a pair of well-worn dark leather combat boots.

Personality: Despite her hard life, Luca does her best to be warm and welcoming. She's always quick with a smile and a bad joke, but anything deeper than goofy small talk is harder to get out of her. Despite her open facade, Luca isn't exactly trusting. She spends a surprising amount of time observing people, getting a feel for who they are before she interacts with them.

History: Luca comes from an alternate Earth, that has been abandoned by humanity after a meteor shower of epic proportions. While the shower itself killed almost two billion people, the aftereffects were something that no one could have ever expected. Those that lived close to the collisions, or even survived ground zero, began developing strange abilities. Afraid of both another strike and the so called 'aftershocks,' the 'normal' humans fled to their system of space stations. Luca herself was abandoned by her parents to be raised by her older brother, Samuel. When Luca was eleven, they both signed up for the Guardians and have been with them ever since.

Skills: Luca is an 'aftershock' - a human possessing unnatural abilities. Her own abilities extend to a minor ability to control light waves. She uses her ability to obscure herself both in combat and while traveling. In addition, she has the enhanced vision, scent, and hearing as other aftershocks. Besides speaking universal common and English, Luca speaks Canadian French and American Sign Language. She's interested in learning other languages, though it takes her longer than most to learn.

appearance; Wren has pale skin and reasonably long brown hair. She's usually seen wearing a thick coat and rarely takes it off. In scorching weather, though, Wren puts her hair up in a ponytail and wears a regular Summer outfit. She isn't very tall, at around 4'11". Wren doesn't look her age, either, one of the debatable quirks of her species. She has piercing dark eyes and doesn't usually smile. Though Wren is both small and youthful, she has a certain look that tends to be intimidating. She also has a very apparent pear body shape.

Despite Wren's intimidating look, she's very kind and gentle. She is very quiet and not quick to trust others. She's also naive and will fall for most things. If you do end up angering her, though she would destroy you. The only reason she didn't end up as a Warrior was because it would take immense efforts to get her in such a state. Wren is mostly calm and tends to think quickly, sometimes too much so. When or if you befriend her, she talks a significant amount more than before, though that's not saying that's much anyway. Despite Wren's training, she quite forgetful when it comes to battle. Despite her best efforts, though, she'll probably never master her abilities.

history;
Wren grew up on a planet much like Earth, but there was one crucial difference. The Planet of Emliko was a wasteland of ice and cold temperatures. The temperature dropped weekly, and it eventually got to a point where virtually no one could survive there. Emlikonian's began fleeing the planet and venturing off to others. Wren and her parents stayed in Emliko as long as they could, but when Wren's mother died, Wren decided that she had to leave. Her father trusted her to go off on her own. Wren and her father parted ways and ventured through the galaxy. In the Academy, Wren had a hard time grasping things despite her best efforts. It took most of her time in the Academy to figure out the simplest things, but after she figured out the basics, Wren flew through the rest. Despite her rough start, Wren surpassed most of the other graduating students. Afterward, she became a Guardian. Though Wren didn't think she had it in her to become something like a Guardian, but she decided to try it anyhow. She hasn't always been the best help to the team, but she has certainly been crucial to the team's survival, as everyone on the team is.

Unlike the other healer, Wren possesses the power to heal humans. Every time she heals someone, though, her energy is depleted significantly. She would barely be able to breathe if she healed a severe injury. That is why Wren is quite dependant on Adashi. He helps her regain enough energy to continue helping others. Wren is also a very skilled cook. She tends to cook most meals in the group. Though Wren speaks fluent Emlikonian, she's still learning the universal language. That's not to say she doesn't speak a lot of the universal language, though. Wren is also learning a few other languages, such as Nerian, Rokiman, and Arcacian.

She prefers to remain in her anolorian form because it's more comfortable for her, but she noticed when she enrolled in the guardian training academy that people were nervous around her or avoided her completely. She decided to adopt a human like form as many of the aliens at the academy looked similar to the common beings, however she doesn't like to maintain it for more than around 20 hours at a time. As a shapeshifter her human like form does tend to shift, some of the most common attributes that tend to change, sometimes corresponding with mood, are hair color or eye color.

History: Xyxiqians are a race of shape shifting aliens that expand their own cultural horizon by pairing with various other alien species which has led to alot of variations in the abilities their offspring can have. Despite this many Xyxiqians were confused when Ay'ala was born, as many people were afraid of or looked down on Anolorians in general. Her mother died when Ay'ala was very young leaving her alone amongst her people, which ended up making her rather insecure, until she enrolled in the guardians academy. She didn't have very many friends, but after adopting a more human like form people were more friendly towards her. However, during one battle with the anolorians people realized that the hostiles seemed to recognize her as one of them and would directly engage with her in battle until directly attacked. This resulted in her being selected to be lead the rag tag band of warriors known as the guardians into conflict against the brutish race.
Skills: While she has shape shifting capabilities she also has super strength and is near indestructible. She gravitates towards large, occasionally bludgeon like, weapons to play to her brute strength on the battle field.
