Willowbreeze is a rather soft-spoken she-cat with a glint of intelligence in her golden eyes. She prefers to hold her tongue in most cases rather than waste her breath arguing. Her views on fighting in general are a bit more complicated, though. If a simple solution is in sight, it's not worth all the yowling and clawing. It can be discussed and resolved without the need of bloodshed. But, if there are no other options, so be it. If asked her opinion, the medicine cat will not hesitate to voice her personal views, especially if the matter at hand is serious.

Willowbreeze had originally spent her apprentice days preparing to become a warrior of the Clan, although changed her mind halfway through her training. This life-altering choice was made when the miracles of medicine sparked a flame of interest within the apprentice. How could it be that a simple mixture of leaves could heal cats of virtually any illness or wound? It was amazing.. She found herself spending more time around the medicine cat den, offering a helping paw when needed while also using this opportunity to learn more about the herbs and what they could do. The medicine cat at the time, Cougartail, took notice of how quickly Willowpaw absorbed the things she learned and was intrigued. She seemed so eager to learn and help which led to Cougartail suggesting she become her apprentice. Willowpaw was hesitant- she had been training to be a warrior alongside her brother, Falconpaw. She didn't want to let him down by abandoning him for the life of a medicine cat. It was a tough decision to make but Willowpaw finally decided it was best for her to become a medicine cat instead of a warrior. Though she is happy with her life now, Willowbreeze occasionally has the desire to be a warrior and have her own family, which is a problem she continues to suppress.

She has an extensive knowledge of herbs and their uses, but they tend to slip her mind during stressful times. If she finds the pressure of a situation to be too much for her, the medicine cat will become irritable. Willowbreeze absolutely hates having to snap at others but when she's had enough, she's had enough. Just give her the distance she needs to do her job and everything will be just fine.

Though she looks graceful in appearance, Willowbreeze can be a clumsy one. She has a habit of tripping over her own paws when embarrassed or excited. She does her best to keep her composure and remain professional in front of her superiors but if you manage to get close to her and come to know her better, she can act like an excited kit at times.

While her greatest strengths are of course in healing, it is not all she has. Because she trained for a while as a warrior, she does know basic fighting and hunting moves. She knows more about hunting, however, and enjoys it very much. She will often volunteer for hunting patrols if she's not too busy with her medical duties or go out on her own in her free time. Willowbreeze may not have continued down the warrior path, but she will always find ways to provide for her clanmates.

Emberstar has always taken his duties very seriously. Even way back to his apprentice days, he was always the one making sure everything was done as it should be and never once complained. The elders have ticks? You got it, Emberpaw is on his way! From apprentice to warrior to deputy to leader, Emberstar has always been the cat on top of things. He is a natural born leader that puts the well-being of his Clan above everything else. While this is one of Ember's greatest strengths, it brings along with it his greatest weakness: doubt. Being a fairly new leader, he is often unsure of himself. He relies greatly on council from his medicine cat, deputy, and senior warriors. He wants nothing more than to be the leader his Clan deserves and to honor Owlstar's memory by leading his Clan through the darkness they currently face.

As aforementioned, Emberstar became the leader of MarshClan quite recently. He was particularly close to Owlstar and by no doubt his most trusted adviser. Always keeping the other apprentices in line, he peaked the leader's interest at an early age. It came as no surprise to any cat that Emberfur became his deputy so many moons later. No cat would argue that he wasn't born for it. Owlstar lost his final life to the unending drought. He refused food so that the Clan's kits might eat instead. All of MarshClan were heartbroken by this, but none more so than Ember. Moving forward, he has committed his nine lives to getting his Clan past this drought, so that no cat may suffer this way again. Of course, that would be easier for him to do if he hadn't also lost his mate.

Ottersplash was a bright light on the darkest of days. She always had a twinkle in her eye and a pep in her step. It didn't matter how terrible things were, she would always find the silver lining. What Emberstar wouldn't give to have that now.. She faded away in the same way Owlstar did. Once plump and with the shiniest pelt you could imagine, Ottersplash died as a pile of bones and with dust for fur. Her recent death due to the territory's conditions has left him heartbroken and hollow. He still performs his duties as well as he always has, but when he's not focused on leading the Clan, he finds himself dwelling on memories of her and the family they had always planned on having. Emberstar is a lot more forlorn and downcast than he ever has been before. He doesn't have nearly as many casual conversations as he once had and prefers to spend his free time alone in his den or out in the marsh. With time, he will move past this, but her death hit him really hard. Ottersplash had been by his side since they were apprentices. He is doing his best to appear strong to his clanmates but her absence has left a hole within him.

Despite so much loss, Emberstar puts on a brave face and takes every day one step at a time. The living are what's important now and he mustn't forget that, no matter how hollow he feels when he is alone. He knows that if this drought doesn't end soon, they may have to move on from this place. In his heart, this is his home. This is where he has laid Owlstar and Ottersplash to rest. He couldn't imagine leaving them behind. But for his Clan? For his Clan, he will do what is necessary to survive. Nothing will ever change that.

a weedy, short-furred cedarclan tom, redkit is always getting into trouble. despite the blistering heat of the parched sands and the constant shortage of prey, he always stays hopeful that the drought will end. he loves to play with the other kits and wants to become a warrior quickly so that he can help his clan, and tries to help the best he can by finding woodlice and slugs before trying to feed them to the other kits; this behaviour has gotten him into time-out multiple times.

Personality;SagePaw has an affinity for getting into trouble. She is constantly in the middle of any type of complications that happen in the clan. That being said, she is an excellent hunter and loves to fight. If it came down to it, SagePaw could defend the clan against any attack without a second thought. Her mother died during childbirth and she was the only kitten that had managed to survive. SagePaw sees this as a sign that she was meant to do something great and wonderful in her life. She wants to be able to bring greatness to her clan.

As a kit, Beesplash was pretty typical. Excitable, ambitious, and hard-working from the moment she was apprenticed. She worked her way up in the Clan with enthusiasm and prides her place as deputy. She hopes to be leader one day with all her heart. With other Clans, she's not as cold as one would expect with a deputy; she respects CedarClan and would rather have friendly relations with them rather than the hostile, tip-toeing around each other relationship that they have now.

Beesplash is, as her personality suggests, always wanting to be in the middle of the drama - wherever it is. Sometimes this gets her into trouble. All in all, she is a good cat and a good deputy of her Clan, she can just be very nosy. However, she is extremely loyal. She's willing to put her life on the line for each and every one of her Clanmates, and she's always around to assist whoever needs it. If the medicine cat needs herbs, she's usually first in line to volunteer to look around. If a kit wants a feather for a toy, she swipes a couple from her own kills to provide that. She is also quite protective of her Clanmates, and righteous about her choices. When she wants to get from point A to point B she will do so, regardless of what she must do in the middle.

For all intents and purposes, Waspheart grew up in a pretty stable family. Loving parents, playful siblings rivalry. He had a good life growing up and, like his sister, was given many chances to excel. The plain life seemed to call to him more, however. He never aspired to be deputy or leader, never wanted to be anything more than a good warrior for his Clan. He loves being around his Clanmates and hates the thought of having to stand out like the medicine cat, deputy, and leader do. He himself would just rather have a quiet life in the warriors den, surrounded by friends, and then retire. That being said you probably won't meet a cat more willing to jump into action for his Clan.

One could say that Waspheart is on the naive side for a cat his age - no, for most cats in general. He barely questions the motives or orders of his superiors and does exactly what it is that he's told, no struggle at all. That sort of thing could be his downfall later on in life. His sister is much less this way and tries to advise him on how dangerous that could be, but he sees no problem with it at all. He chose to be a warrior and warriors listen to instructions. As well as being too docile, he's also far too trusting of other cats and it has gotten him into trouble before. (Eating before feeding the kits and queens, getting into fights, etc). It is only a matter of time before he gets into a real, lasting pickle.
