Welcome to Tailorwood Equestrian Centre, you have been chosen by our team of instructors to become
part of our program. We have selected the best riders from all around the world to join us on the east
coast of New South Wales, Australia. We know that many of our riders have come great distances to be
here with us and have a boarding building with individual rooms as we believe that everyone needs their
personal space. Tailorwood has been ranked as best in the world for our out-turn of riders ready to go
on to compete in the Olypmics and other world class events. You are welcome to bring a maximum of three
horses of your own or we can provide you horses ready to take on high level eventing, dressage and show
jumping. Please join us on the 1st of January so we can start our year off right, and remember, those
who have come from the northern hemisphere that we are indeed in summer December-February!

Ellie had a practical outlook in life and is both street and book smart. Being the type who would rather stay away from confrontation, Ellie is and always has been the peacemaker, using her calm nature to defuse the situation, saying that, she does have quite the temper when it comes to it.
history ;; When her father died in a car crash and her mother was unable to care for her at the age of three, Ellie was moved unto the foster care system and was housed with her paternal grandparents on their farm in the outskirts of Uralla, New South Wales, Australia. Her earliest memories consist of the rural property and all it's inhabitants both wild and domestic, Ellie found comfort in the retired station horse that lived old his long last days in the pasture behind the house. He as the first horse she ever sat on and sparked her interest in the equestrian community. First it was pony club and campdrafting, then it was sporting and then it was eventing. When she was seventeen, Ellie found her desire for travel and took some time after high school to go travelling. When she got back a year later, she bought Zoe, an ottb mare.

personality ;; Despite being independent and someone who likes to work on his own, Vincent has a tendency to rely on others to make decisions when it comes to plans. This is because he has a tendency to 'mind read' meaning he fears what people may be thinking about him and puts ideas in his head about what other may be thinking. Being quite insecure about himself, Vince spends most of his time with Ellie as he is comfortable being around her and feels that he can be himself but when other people are around, he becomes reserved and very quiet but once he is got to know someone he does become rather confident and shows his sense of humour. Vincent is a warm person, he is a very caring person who tends to put other before himself and due to others using him in the past, he can become cold. Over all, Vincent is a lovely young man both at first glance and when you get to know him.
history ;; Vincent was born into an upper class family who bred, trained and sold dressage horses, he had always loved being around the horses and dreamt of one day competing in the Olympics. With these aspiration at a young age, his whole life surrounded his horses and it was clear that he was going to work hard for what he wanted. Having grown up next door to his grandparents, Vincent spent most of his time with his younger cousin and this caused a lasting bond between the two to the point where they were often confused as siblings despite their difference in appearance. Although he had always been a polite and lovable child, Vincent had been bullied constantly for his love of horses and this took a toll on his social life, making him a very secluded teenager. Ever since, his whole life revolved around working for his father with the horses and competing with King until he put in an application for Tailorwood Equestrian Centre.

history ;; King was born from extremely competitive lines and was handled from a young age to prepare him for his destiny of being a world class dressage horse, at first he was his typical even tempered self but after the introduction of the bit, he became bad mannered and somewhat aggressive. Despite his negative reaction to the bit, he was continued on the traditional training that his stud farm had always used but this only caused more issues whilst being handled, specifically by dominant personalities. Eventually the troubles that came with young King became too overwhelming for the trainers and he was sent to sale, where he was bought by David Patel, Vince's father. At this new home, King was brought back to basics and was taught to be ridden bitless, he responded to this and was brought along slowly. Here he formed a relationship with an eleven year old Vincent, the two got were like two peas in a pod, so five years later when David decided that his son was experienced enough to handle the then eight year old stud. Ever since, Vincent and King have been working together to become a part of the Olympic team.

an eventing horse, still not yet perfect. she stopped attending her swimming and soccer
practices in turn to train with dion everyday she could. her father still trained his other
horses for racing, but left his daughter alone, sure that she'd get bored of it one day
soon. sophia hasn't been without her share of injuries either, she's broken bones, pulled
ligaments and twisted her ankle about a half a dozen times. as her father did race, she's
got discipline there too, yet tailorwood doesn't allow for a team in their ranks. despite
being pulled into the horse world by dion, she isn't completely obsessed, still favoring
swimming and soccer dearly

friends growing up, just himself, the desert and his horses. he found his way into show
jumping through a distant cousin who lived in the nearest city, and it took a long time for
him to merge and list himself as a show jumper - it certainly forced him to cut ties with
some of his family, who thought that his venture into nsw was for nothing. (something
