Digging Deeper
Personality: This stray female is a proud rebel against the humans as well as the proud founder of the pack. Her wants often get in the way of her sense of morals. She is an intelligent leader, and knows how to keep the pack happy. She has an acute sense of direction, but is terrible at hunting. If challenged in any way, she has learned to fight very well out on the streets as a stray, and intentionally trains every morning to keep her strength up exactly for that reason. Queenie absolutely loves water and beaches, and can swim fairly well. She is often seen casually flirting with the males in the pack, but has not found a true love interest yet.

History; Queenie was born in the backyard of someone's old abandoned house. Her mother and father were both pitbulls that had been abandoned by their show breeder owner, and had never looked back to humans for help from that point in. Queenie was raised on the streets, fighting for scraps like most stray dogs in her area. She has never had a true human family to care for her needs, and does not understand the relationship between humans and dogs, seeing humans purely as bigoted fools. She learned her fighting skills on the streets with the few companions she would gain and loose throughout her life. After choosing to leave the city in search of a new place to call home, she slowly began collecting other dogs with similar mentalities to hers, in the hopes that she would remain their leader and "hero". Although the female would never admit it, she was a little lonely on her own as well, and is glad to have company.

apperance phoebe has been deemed a natural beauty in their odd pack, and often get's either stared at or flirted with by many members of the pack. her multi-colored nose and pelt have given her a distinctive appearance and her large ears add to her innocent personality. her eyes resemble a dirty mud pool but one finds beauty in them.
personality one's first guess is that phoebe is either a snobby dog or one so pampered they want others to do everything for them, but that's far from the truth. phoebe is a very kind and gentle soul who doesn't like conflict the slightest, so she tends to stay neutral and only input her opinion when something needs to be settled. aside from that phoebe is rather innocent for her age, and she doesn't understand any of her packmates dirty humor or rude remarks completely, so she just goes along with it by putting out one of her signature smiles. those smiles that she will use to get out of trouble when she does get into it, something she can be swayed into easily, especially if it involves taking the blame. she just isn't one to be stubborn or refuse the help of other dogs. she likes to help those around her in this dark time. she can tend to shy away from the other dogs often and isn't a huge talker but rather just someone to admire for her beauty. beauty isn't her only trait. she is incredibly smart, but to shy to show it so she stays off the side where she 'should' be.
history growing up, phoebe, despite being deemed beautiful by her pack, was alone. she spent countless months by herself trying to survive off anything she could. she saw dogs and their owners having a great relationship but she never got that. she was cast aside by many other dogs long before she found the pack and this caused her to shy off talking to other dogs and keep to herself. on many occasions, she had to use her looks to get something such as food and shelter for a night and it has taken a toll on the poor dog. when phoebe first came across queenie, now the leader of the pack, she was reluctant to join at first, but seeing what she could offer and the safety she agreed to join them. she considers herself a close friend to queenie and some of the other dogs and feels like she found her home.

Physical Appearance:
Bjorn’s Appearance is surprising at first glance, his mismatched eyes being one of his more recognisable features. His left eye is a pale icy blue, and his left is a rich chocolate brown. His coat markings show both his husky and malinois sides, having the dense thickness to defend against freezing temperatures and the varying brown colours of a working dog. His face is mostly black, all the way from his eyes to the tip of his nose. Bjorn’s chest, paws and underbelly are white, and fade into the the darker fawn of his upper-body. His ears and tail tip are a dark brown, and he has a white facial marking up his muzzle. In terms of physique, Bjorn is a big dog with a muscular build. But more of a slender body increases his sprint distances and ability, common skills used to hunt prey or outsmart enemies.

Personality:
No matter what life throws at him, it takes a lot to get Bjorn down. His willingness to go on and determination to succeed have no trouble outweighing the doubt present at the back of his mind. Bjorn is the sort to ‘live in the moment’, and while this way of life may not run through the entire pack, he isnt likely to change his ways just because someone disagrees. He practically radiates with a positive attitude and is forever looking ahead rather than behind. Bjorn has an undeniable sense of humor, and likes to believe this is contagious. When someone is down, he is the dog to be with. Bjorn will show you the world the way he sees it. Every day is a new adventure, and each day wasted means missing out on something amazing. Bjorn likes to keep his spirits up high, believing negativity will lead to conflict among themselves. He can get a little cocky, knowing how valuable the skills he possess are, but isn’t selfish enough to keep them to himself. Bjorn is very helpful to have around, and will even pass on his knowledge whenever he has the chance. As for his pack members, he values them more than life itself, and will do anything to see they are led to success. Unlike many others, he doesn’t dislike humans, but has just learned to live without them.

History:
Bjorn grew up spending most of his time outdoors. He was actually a working dog belonging to a rabbit hunter, so training began from a very early age. The lessons were strict and took a long time to get right, but Bjorn was provided with the vast knowledge he can now offer the pack to this day. He developed a very acute sense of smell and improved his sights to focus on fleeing prey. He impressed his owner, topping every other dog he worked with. Bjorn learned to track, hunt, and come to admire the world around him. But unfortunately for him, this life came to an end after three years. During a late season hunting trip, Bjorn was left behind during a hunt so a new pup could be trained. His owner was mauled by a brown bear and killed, leaving the dogs alone and trapped inside. Once rescuers arrived, Bjorn fled to the forest and survived there alone for two whole years. He used his training and instinct to find food and was able to live and avoid predators. But Bjorn found himself wanting more of a life than this, longing for companionship of some kind. He decided to find a pack in the city to survive with, and this opportunity was given once he met Queenie, and like so many others, looked up to her for leadership.

a firm believer in every dog for herself, yet whe
n she found the pack she gained a sense of loyal
ty that has dug deep into her blood, yet though
she would kill for them she has a wild streak tha

her own way and when others disagree she is qu

she, unlike the majority of her siblings, was not sold. instead, she was gifted to her owner's
teenage daughter in hopes that she would learn some responsibility by caring for an animal.
though avalon loved her owner as a pup, she was young and negligent, often choosing to go
out with friends over caring for her pet. avalon, feeling unwanted, learned not to rely on humans.
it wasn't difficult for avalon to leave home, the lack of attention as a puppy having caused her
to grow aloof and disenchanted with humans. an opportunity at freedom sounded incredible.
personality; at first glance, the quiet and enigmatic avalon is a tough character to pinpoint.
though she is excessively prim and stoic, avalon carries herself with an air of undeniable grace.
she tends to take things very literally, lacking the patience for a sense of humor and finding most
types of comedy or mischief pointless. she is honest to a fault, her bluntness sometimes coming
off as harsh. avalon is very business-minded, typically putting her duties above everything, even
her own well-being. a promise made with avalon is one that will never fall through, for she
is reliable and intelligent. her presence, though simplistic and quiet at first glance, is one
that commands some respect. she has no ill intentions, and though her words sometimes
wound, her goal isn't to hurt. if one comes to her in need, she seeks to help and to soothe,

Appearance: Tall, dark and mysterious. Cruz’s exterior is offputting enough, engulfed by an aura of built up anger and hatred. Cruz’s appearance often manages to intimidate even the bravest dogs, from his threatening size, to his irritated expression. His coat is a dark red, the texture of his fur short and thin. His face and cropped ears are jet black, the dark markings increasing his menacing appearance. His daunting eyes are a very dark brown, even black when out of the light. Just Cruz’s gaze alone is unnerving to most. His eyes possess so much pain and history that one longs to recover from his hardened soul. Cruz is a very tough and strong dog, his body rigid with muscles lining every limb. His shoulders are very broad and his neck is thick and long, pushing forward his ability to defend himself should anyone try to provoke him. From his throat to his rump, his body is marked with thin scars. Unable to hide them, Cruz just ignores these features, expecting everyone else to do the same.

Getting on Cruz’s bad side isn’t something anyone would want. But it’s just impossible to get on his ‘good side’, should anyone learn if he has one. With Cruz, it’s best to stay neutral. That way, he has no reason to attack you. That is of course, as long as you keep your distance. Having never had a pack before, Cruz isn’t sure how to act in one. The fact that he doesn’t know how to communicate with other dogs frustrates him, and because of this, he has distanced himself from the other dogs. He feels like the ‘odd one out’, and can’t help but feel there’s some kind of rift between him and the others. How easy they get on with each other and how the pack works together makes Cruz long to be one of them. But the problem is, he’d never actually speak to anyone about this. His bad attitude and lack of patience prevent him from doing so, and in the end, Cruz stopped trying. He doesn’t yet feel like one of the pack, more like an outsider tagging along. This has made him quite paranoid, and has him constantly trying to keep up socially. Cruz has been known to force himself into conversations trying to make up for his lack of interaction with the pack. His behaviour is forced and he will tense up when he does this, mainly because he feels the others don’t want him around. But when he wants his alone time, you do best not bother him. Because he means it. Pack member or not, Cruz will attack any dog he doesn’t want invading his space. He doesn’t enjoy conflict, and doesn’t instigate it, but won’t hold back. Violence has been his way of life for many years, and Cruz still sees this as the only option when something is bothering him. A lot of time and perseverance could start to crack his shell, but his trust is very limited. Be careful around him.

History: Not one part of Cruz’s life has been easy. As a pup, he knew nothing of love and affection. By the time he could walk, humans had already cut his ears and beaten him, giving him the scars he carries to this day. He was hand picked from by his new owner and torn from his siblings just as he opened his eyes. Four years of his life were spent tied to a two foot chain, his only shelter a grimy, leaky dog house. He lived in the small yard of a large home near the city. Cruz’s only role was to act as ‘guard dog’, but his motivations were far from guarding the house. Anything that moved in general would set him off with a series of snarls. He was taught well by his masters that every single human was a threat, including them. He lived this sad life for a long time, the years building him his hatred to humans in particular. Even dogs who wandered nearby would flee once they caught a glimpse of this lost soul. Four years into his life, a group of kids tried to steal Cruz, but after taking off his chain, the full power and anger of this dog was finally released to the world. Everything was a threat to Cruz, and in blind fury, he mauled one of the teens to death. Bloodstained and confused, he ran off into the world, spending days travelling before he was met with the city. With police and dog wardens still searching, he took the life of a stray and evaded humans at all costs, battling it out with other street dogs to find food. Cruz lived this way alone for two years, during this time his mental state improving. But Cruz still longed for a purpose. After a nasty fight with a large stray, he found himself seeking help, and begrudgingly joined a dog pack. Even now, he is still uncertain if he wants to stick with them. His past has remained a mystery to everyone so far, and Cruz is determined to keep it that way. If only someone could persuade him...
